Around the time of BM's arrest, there was discussion of him being packed and ready to leave his condo in Poncha Springs. IIRC PE or IE had a discussion on YT about BM telling a neighbor he was moving to AZ.

I don't have a link.

MOO

And that neighbor discussed this with the FBI, is what I remember.

There's so much info I'm sure I've got this confused but, is there texts/messages that indicate Suzanne and JL were the ones talking about AZ, and then out of nowhere Barry mentions AZ as well... or, was Barry the one talking about AZ all along?

This tween from Lauren indicates to me that it was Barry that brought up AZ to Suzanne, not that Suzanne and JL were talking about AZ:

On May 9, #SuzanneMorphew tells Libler that she had a fine night got pizza, looked at homes, and talked about Arizona.

https://mobile.twitter.com/laurenscharftv/status/1425123722827124736

That may be where I got it from. I read it as she told Libler she'd had a fine night, then went online to look at homes and then talked (to Libler) about AZ (as she is in a conversation with Libler - kind of a buzzkill to tell your lover that your husband and you talked about AZ).

However, that could very well be what she meant. Or that Barry's idea that she should move to AZ is taking hold (not good - she's not getting out of his reach at all, Libler must be thinking).

She sort of leaves Barry out of the conversation, from my point of view ("she got pizza," not "Barry and I got pizza" - which I think is what really happened, right?)

Maybe she immediately was convinced (by Barry) to give up Ecuador and go for AZ. In which case, JL must really have felt...weird.

This isn't SM and JL, but I found in @Niner 's notes where the DA was concerned about BM claiming to be moving to Arizona:

CO - CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #60 *ARREST*

See the bottom of her 5/6/21 update.

"Prosecution to turn over discovery to the defense by May 27. DA concerned he was flight risk: asset selling, recently bought vehicles, took his bobcat to Indiana & told several he was moving to Arizona."

So why is Suzanne also talking about AZ? I don't get it.

I don't know. Did she and Libler talk about Barry wanting to move to AZ? Or did SM and JL want to go there themselves?
Maybe @NoSI knows the context?

Not sure about that. I think there may be footage at the HI and at least one other place, maybe the fast food place?

My statement stands.

There are images, but they have not been released publicly. I don't expect them to be released to the public until after the AA is released to the public.

MOO There is video at HIE of the field coat, tree container and trash bags.

I didn't say they don't exist. I said they are not available. People keep posting about seeing the pictures, but the pictures they have seen are of Fotis Dulos not Barry Morphew. If one was not in the courtroom for the PH one can not have seen any photos of Barry's trash run.

I found this:

"Suzanne also messaged Lidler to tell him that Morphew was contemplating a move to Arizona which she thought was ‘weird.'"

Barry Morphew appears emotionless for preliminary hearing - ImmigrationNewsAustralia

Wrong spelling of boyfriend. I hope this is an approved source.

Thank you - that's very helpful. So Suzanne starts talking about moving into town (Salida) and Barry starts talking about AZ.

I haven't seen anyone post about seeing the pictures, unless they were in the courtroom. I do see people quoting the things said by people in the courtroom.

They are not available to the public, obviously. But I try to read everyone's posts here and haven't seen anyone claim to have seen them (except @NoSI, who was in the courtroom for 3.5 days of the PH, IIRC). Also, some of us listen to youtubers who were also there or read tweets from those who were there. Mostly what I see are people are using the timeline prepared here by members or using the tweets...and summing up what they said.

Do we know what kind of cyling gloves Suzanne wore? I always pictured open gloves, but if they were found wadded up in het closet, wouldn't it be hard to wad up the open kind? Maybe she had full coverage gloves. Might be chilly riding in May...

Suzanne strikes me as a tidy person... wadded up gloves seems an anomaly.... maybe she was in a hurry the day she removed them.... but why would she wear them all the way to her closet ever?!

I hope they tested the INSIDE of her gloves for DNA. Barry's.

Maybe Barry thought he could be clever, using Suzanne's gloves to disconnect wires in the garage. They didn't report fingerprints as I recall. DNA.

I rather picture Suzanne leaving her gloves in/with her helmet, convenient for the next ride. If Barry disconnected those cables, ber gloves might've been Right There-- and HE balled them up when he removed them.

Was it an oversight by Barry anyway, that Suzanne's biking clothes seemed to be on her closet floor? (Am I over-remembering that? Was it JUST her gloves? The shorts he retrieved as a scent item, were those on the floor too?

Did he have a Welp Moment when he identified the shorts for LE? I mean, surely she had multiples, but if you're trying to peddle a bike story, do you really want LE to see that her biking clothes are at home?

Maybe Barry's ghost-rider wife, when cycling without gloves, without her camelback, without her sunglasses, without those shorts. Barry, did she go biking in a brown towel?

I just want to make sure Barry didn't borrow her gloves....

So many questions that the other housemates could clear up but, with the exception of one interview with LE, IMO Barry prevented additional exchanges. And he likely boxed up Suzanne's belongings before anybody else came home... he'd say it was out of grief, but we know better.

JMO

This is really interesting because the gloves have been bugging me too. You're right, her gloves would have been with her helmet or Camelback. They were probably all in her car together. I've gotten the impression that Suzanne kept things tidy. I think more than one person told the FBI where to find the three books that were always together in the same place. To me that says everything went where it belonged when she was done with it. So the swimsuit top on the closet floor also sticks out as odd.

I don't think they entered any clothing from the closet into evidence. The swim top is only seen in crime scene photos.

Question....

If Suzanne was changing bed linens in anticipation of a house guest, and Suzanne was sleeping in the main bed (as indicated by her Bible and her daily devotional), where was Barry sleeping? Were they still sharing a bed? Out of habit, obligation, pacification?

If Barry was sleeping in that other bedroom, wouldn't Suzanne plan to wait until Sunday to wash the sheets?

Was Barry living at the house in the days prior to 5/9?

He seems furtive. Prowling. So much left to questions. For now.

There are lots of telematics yet to to hear about!!

JMO

A while back I think there was some discussion that Barry hadn't been staying at the house before the murder. Might have turned out to be a rumor, but I think it had been attributed to someone connected to MM2.

There are no pictures available of Barry dumping trash.

See, it's just a matter of one word. If you had said "publicly" in front of available, we would have understood. But to say there are no pictures available while we are still discussing PH where the pictures were discussed and/or shown, that means they are available to investigators, who have seen them.

And as someone said, one set of pictures was from a bank ATM camera next to McDonald's - very clever work there and good job, Bank. People really responded and stepped up to provide those pictures. They've seen them too.

Barry and his attorneys saw what was at the PH (which is a main point of the PH), and all of the footage is in evidence, according to the court. The Judge has seen it too, at least he should have by now.

I do wish there were more pictures, but I guess it's enough that Barry admits to the investigators that he was dumping trash at each of those stops.

He even admits to dumping things (tranq materials) that might not have been seen in any video. IMO.

Sounds like the Arizona talk was a red herring....bait to somehow reel Suzanne back in to recontrol....jmo.

After reading your earlier post (it was excellent), I think so too. He was pretending that he too was ready to "move on," that he had no particular ties to Salida (nope, no girlfriend - look over there! It's Arizona!). That made Suzanne feel comfortable, as you said. "He is taking it well. He's making his own plans." Etc.

She probably marveled at that. Was super happy. Let her guard down. Thought each of them would soon be in their own place. She probably felt intense relief (but if she'd had time to think it over, would have realized how odd it was)

Just jumping off of this post to ask a question.

Reading back and continuing until now, there are many comments about a cooler as if its fact that a cooler was involved in SM's disappearance. Where did this come from? Can someone cite a source? Or is this just one of those persistent rumors? I can't figure it out. TIA

There was mention from the LEOs that there were NO coolers in the house and that was really weird for a guy who liked to hunt as much as Barry.

What a monster. A selfish, egotistical, murdering coward!
The poor lady…and his poor daughters.

You're right. I have to get better at copy editing. The clear and obvious images of Barry lurking, then later dumping a pot at the HIE is theater. He went out of his way to avoid cameras otherwise. I thought the McDonald's had the footage, there were like three spots that could be cameras around that McD's. I didn't realize it was an ATM that busted him! That's awesome, Barry screwed up! There were no cameras anywhere near that Men's Warehouse, based on my Google Street View exploration of that shopping center it already had a lot of vacancies and looked to be in disrepair indicating no security cameras.

If any one here followed the PFC Guillen case, maybe go give her a shout out, in case her family looks in today.

Thank you! There was a whole run of people talking about Fotis' rolled up carpet! I'm not losing my mind.

She did, though. Him talking about Arizona was "weird" somehow. We don't know the context of that text, though. All I can find is quoting someone on the stand. Not even sure which Agent it was.

Weird.

Do you know what you get if you Google barry morphew "weird"?

A long list of people who describe Barry's behavior from May 6th forward as "weird." Some more reputable than others, but still "weird" comes up a lot.
