I'm an Aussie, and I don't understand what you all mean by "coolers". In Australia, I would take that to mean an Esky, which certainly wouldn't be big enough to hold a body. Anything bigger than that would be a small fridge, with it's motor, etc. Please can somebody enlighten me?
It’s non electric, and insulated. It is used when camping to keep food cold, or when fishing or hunting to keep game cold. There are many sizes.

He knew he was seen in them that day.
I agree. How could he Barrysplain why they were missing?
Additionally, since he is supposedly a true crime buff, I think BM thinks of dna and other forensic evidence as poison powder. It lands everywhere and it’s a **** to get rid of. I think he was panicking about everything he touched and where he went that he might have picked up more incriminating evidence. I mean, who changes their clothes four times in a day when they’re just laying around watching tv?

DBM Double post.

I would like to know exactly when LE placed the 2 calls to Barry when he was at Broomfield? And, did they leave messages for a call back?

  • #205
I wonder if his internet searches will be revealing ?
I can only imagine that they will be, given the tiny slice we've been informed of (Ashley Madison, cute girls/Salida, and the celebrity nude site). I suspect that's the tip of the iceberg.

Or possibly any searches on MG's phone, as his entourage was so keen to not have that turned over to the police?

Like 3 or 4 showers -- requiring as many clothing changes?

JMO

No amount of showering will cleanse him, guilt doesn't just wash away Barry!
A confession may help a little though

Will the proceedings on the 17th be available for viewing on Webex?

Do we know if LE was able to retrieve the clothing he changed out of? Or did all those outfits go into a dumpster?

I agree that SM probably deferred to BM for nearly 30 years or up until she began exercising her "ballsy" side (2018-20 per BM). However, according to SM's Twitter, Colorado was on their radar since at least 2014 (or earlier) -- 4 years prior to relocating.

SM's siblings told PE/ITIR they believed Colorado was their semi-retirement move. We also know that long before she graduated from HS, MM1 was quoted in MSM that she would be attending University in Gunnison, CO.

In other words, plenty of evidence that Colorado was not foreign to SM prior to moving there. MOO

Exactly - and. you're right. They are encouraging MM1 to go to school in CO (which I've always thought strange - what's the point of going away to college if your parents go with you? But anyway...). So Barry takes MM2 on a college trip by at least 2016 - based on (IIRC) a prior trip to CO.

How one can "semi-retire" (meaning Barry would semi-retire) and buy a much more expensive house?

This was Barry's dream, IMO. To be a lumberjack and a fireman and boulder-mover and a hunter...in the glorious, most rocky of mountains, the Rocky Mountains, spine of our continent. I wish I could live there too (my dad is from CO, my closest relatives are there, and I love so much about CO - but my job is where I am).

Not that we know of - Judge has already said no to any cameras or recordings during PH. Notes only, tweets and reports only.

The daughters are in an excruciating position, I would think. While they may yet support BM...which is understandable if true.....their personal relationships (friends, boyfriends, etc...) won't necessarily share the same view of Barry....meaning, I am sure that their personal relationships have been affected. Getting them on the witness stand would be very dicey for the prosecution, though possibly necessary. I would hope that while a jury may be empathetic to the daughters...that it would not carry over to Barry. He is not a victim...and the jury needs to recognize that regardless of the emotional testimony which may follow.

Judge Murphy locked down WebEx for the prelim so I doubt he will make it accessible to the public until the arraignment which is one of the criminal proceedings that Colorado allows cameras and/or live stream. MOO

Barry is a cheapie-I wonder about what the difference is in in-state tuition.

AFAIK, we have not yet received any info from LE to confirm whether or not they retrieved any evidence from the trash dumps in Broomfield. We know that the outfit he had on on Saturday, the blue t shirt and khaki shorts, were retrieved from the dryer at Puma Path.

The countdown begins. If Barry is bound over for trial, any idea when that would take place? I almost wonder if from Barry’s standpoint, he might be better off with this going to trial now. If the a judge ruled there was not enough to proceed, they would be able to bring charges in the future, maybe find Suzanne, maybe review the holes in their case, and make sure their case is rock solid. Just playing Devil’s advocate with what they currently have to work with. If Barry goes to trial and is not convicted, that’s it.
Good question. On the other hand, the investigation is ongoing. After the public arrest and hearing and while BM is in jail, witnesses may feel less inhibited in coming forward. BM faces compelling evidence that he killed his wife, and he can't assume this is his best chance.

I can understand the prosecution not wanting to tip their hand at the PH, but if they had more they should have presented it at the PH in my opinion, as I am concerned about the evidence they have presented and whether it is sufficient to hold him without bail. MOO.

Suzanne made veggie soup.

Barry kills chipmunks, then has a slab of beef for dinner.

I have a mental picture of a freezer full of meat. Bison, deer, elk....

Maybe THAT'S what he needed a cooler or coolers for....

I wonder if LE inventoried their freezer to note whether it was full or oddly not full....

Barry loved his Bobcat, but maybe he was feeding the mountain lion.

That's why I think tailings.
Tossed clothes and shoes, that makes sense going anywhere.
4 baths or showers.
MOO That sounds like substantial exposure to a penetrating bio available dust and dirt situation to me.

We still haven’t heard the real story about the set of antlers with the fresh meat still attached that was allegedly leaning against the side of the house at Puma Path according to AM.
