Now I'm afraid Barry is going to plead to like Murder 3 and do 10 years in prison. This whole thing was not great for the prosecution, no matter how the Judge tried to finesse it with his personal opinion.

You essentially only need one juror to agree with the Judge's expressed personal opinion (not enough evidence for Murder 1) and he walks free. Does the state want to take that chance? Ughhh

I feel like getting bail just boosted his ego. What are the chances he actually takes a plea. He never wants to admit defeat or deceit. I think he will chance it at trial

#BarryMorphew must surrender his passport. He can't reside outside of Chaffee County. It is this court that has to monitor him. #MalloryMorphew just left the courtroom with a private investigator. "I want you here in Chaffee County that I know that you are close by."

It may seem unfortunate, but that feels more in line with reasonable when we think of what a bond is intended to do for someone.

Thoughts are with everyone during this emotional time.

BREAKING: The judge said $10 million is too high but $50,000 cash is too low for #BarryMorphew. So we need to meet somewhere in the middle. He wants it low enough so that he can post bond. BOND: $500,000 CASH ONLY
