Who said the defense is trying to delay the trial? I think the possibility of finding Suzanne's body is more important than the trial date, don't you? The defense, imo, may be pushing the date due to Barry's depleting funds available (in the US, that is).

Just a gentle reminder that we are not privy to what the state and their prosecutors know. Additional time buys us the possibility that Suzanne’s remains have or will be found. IMO

I challenge anyone to give a plausible explanation as to why Barry would lie, not only about doing work, but where he was when that life changing phone call was made.

You can't do it.

Which means that in order to believe Barry is innocent, you'd have to simply ignore one of the most damning pieces of evidence against him.

Sheet, you'd have to ignore EVERYTHING in the AA and everything we've learned from MSM reports. Forget about what we might've learned from other sources.
MG took care of his bs until she didn't imo. So did others who I'm sure will be witnesses. Lies, lies and more lies from Barry.
His defense team have no other choice than to put witnesses on trial. Crack heads? An adulterous wife? Will he go so far as to drag his daughter (M2) into retracting her previous statements to LE? I don't doubt that for a second.
How about his affairs. I hope to God that they've looked into his past lovers, including Shoshona.
Wouldn't that be a good defense? Some one else did it, even if they have a solid alibi. One of his girlfriends.
That's what his defense will suggest, without any proof whatsoever. Drag anyone else through the mud. Her boyfriend. The MANY boyfriends she had. Why not go for it. After all, the truth makes your client look guilty as fluck.
Barry LIED about every single thing he told LE what he did on both Saturday and Sunday and days before. He lied about everything.
Distractions and obfuscations is really all they have. If his daughters sit back without giving honest testimony... if the defense can pull off a not guilty verdict? Well.....

I've long believed that somebody could have inadvertently helped BM. For example, looking at the list of individuals BM is ordered not to have contact with is one former employee that I think may have been so fearful of BM that he was determined to wait until BM was arrested and incarcerated before he'd sit down with investigators. This is only speculation but I think it possible he borrowed an older vehicle sans GPS to transport SM. MOO

I too think that's more than possible and always have. Knowingly or unwittingly someone else may have been involved.

Another issue is she didn't take her sunglasses or camelback, which are items she would always take.

The helmet being planted was bizarre in its own right. I'd love to know his logic there.

The condition change has just been requested not granted. It is a long drive and over a mountain pass so understand why he would not like his daughters doing that frequently in winter. I give it 50/50 it will be granted. If it is granted he would probably need to notify someone when he intends to drive.

Exactly. Long before Barry was charged, I kept going on about Suzanne's cell phone showing no activity after Barry left the house that morning.

Even without knowing the evidence, that had to be true in order for Barry to be a suspect, which the behavior of law enforcement indicated.

Of course that turned out to be the case.

Suzanne's phone turned off when Barry was still present. It initially went dark (showed no activity) when he arrived home that fateful afternoon.

Barry sunk his own ship with the story he told also. If he wanted it to be believed that she disappeared on a bike ride, he should have said he didn't see her that day or he saw her leave on her bike. Then she didn't come home, but he wasn't suspicious or something. He could have made up many other stories that would have been more believable then he and her had a date and it was the best evening. Then, he left her on Mother's Day to go work, but not really work and then spend hours in a hotel room after visiting many trash cans and dumpsters around the city.

I believe Barry himself is the one who told the story of him running around killing chipmunks when he came home. In my mind he needed to account for something so he told that story and there is always some truth to the lies right? He was running around alright, but he wasn't killing chipmunks, he was killing Suzanne.

The folks at the river site stated as much and MG was certain she heard Barry’s truck outside her house early morning hours of MD. Did he have a key to her or her significant others vehicle? Hopefully we will learn more at trial but likely not before. Burn Barry Burn. IMO

There were several traffic/surveillance cameras between Puma Path and the Rock Beach location. The rock beach site was dug up twice, tents, cadaver dogs, the works. Personally, I think MB was mistaken about the night. Barry was working over there on Friday evening.

For Barry to have borrowed a vehicle they would have had to bring it to him at Puma Path where he has a dead body.

He had an ATV on property. While we can't seem to prove or disprove any movements with the Bobcat, we know Barry had 2 Range Rovers (one without telematics), the Bobcat, and an ATV available. While I don't believe that Suzanne is anywhere on the PP property, I believe she is close.

He admitted to it. It's not the prosecutions theory. He left the truck door open and rushed around to both back porches. After that he clams up. So no, he didn't then admit to running to his workbench then running to the master bedroom door.

I don't think Barry "chased" her either. I think Suzanne was probably in the shower/post sun skin care routine when Barry got home. Barry was rushing to find her. I've always had a lot of questions about the positions of the garage door. From overhead, I think, it might be difficult to see the garage from the driveway. I think he stopped at the garage to see if her car was still there and made a trip to his workbench because she was inside the house and he needed to keep it clean.

Here we go:

SA Grusing said from 2:44PM to 2:47PM, Barry is going to the porches. Barry said, “Mhhmhh.” SA

Barry asked, “I don’t, where was, Was it on me? Or was it on the kitchen or what?” SA Grusing said the phone movement was how Agents knew Barry was moving around. Barry said, “Oh, because it was on me?”

SA Grusing said Agents tried to find Barry chasing the chipmunks on the cameras recovered and could not. He said, “well, I don’t think any cameras were there. They were in the safe.” He added, “Everything was in the safe, they took everything from the safe.”

SA Grusing asked Barry how he knew the chipmunk was outside to chase it that day, and he said, “Oh, they’re always out there. That’s just what I do. I mean, I’ve shot 85 chipmunks at my house. And when I’m bored, I shoot chipmunks.”

SA Grusing said, “Right,” and asked if the chipmunk gun was in the car or truck with him and he said he did not remember.

SA Grusing noted from the evidence it appeared Barry made it from the garage to the porch in seven seconds and asked Barry if he remembered where the gun was.


Barry stated, “I don’t recall. It coulda been in the truck. It might’ve been, but I don’t recall.”

SA Grusing asked if the scope was mounted on the gun at the time and Barry said, “Yeah,” nodding his head.

S Grusing asked Barry what he did with the chipmunk after he killed it and he said he either threw it up on the hill, where the crows come and get them, or down by the river.​

We've got a problem, though. I'm pretty sure she's up on that mountain, and I don't think the snows are going to melt before Barry goes to trial.

The black container below was a tree pot. Hence the interest in trees. Did Barry plant a tree on top of her in a auger hole? While I see the auger as a valid theory, it's too much work for Barry and we know his movements for the proceeding two days so he would have had to prepare a site before the 8th. I'm not 100% on the dates, but I'm reasonably certain that LE pulled data from Barry's phone as far back as November. Barry is the king of airplane mode, but I don't know when he would have had the opportunity to go dig a hole in some remote location between the 6th and the 9th.

At 12:38 PM, Barry placed bags, a black container and clothing from his truck beside the curb near the hotel lobby (see photos below). He then walked to his truck, appeared to pick up a small item from inside, picked up the trash bag, coat and container and walked towards the dumpsters at the end of the lot.​
