Around the 2:30 mark they’re asked if anything was amiss leading up to SM’s disappearance. BM (imo) clearly nods yes, but one of the girls says no and begins talking. I don’t know if BM was nodding acknowledging the question or he was indeed nodding yes, something was amiss. I wish the interviewer would have followed back up with him after the head nod.

Anyway, I see the dynamics with the girls different than most here. Especially with the older daughter. I think they or more MM1 has a lot of control over BM. It’s clearly a close bond, imo, that was in place before SM went missing. I think SM might have felt on the outside of these three. Imo
I had avoided watching it though I took a few punches from a report this morning.

re nod..
yeah.
It looked to me that he was saying to himself
right, I'm on now.
This is the bit I rehearsed.

I know my lines.

A lot of work went into this production, i think.

Bitin' the bullet real hard, btw..

Very disturbing.

Maybe they're fearful of him. Between their father and his attorney, they might be doing what they're told to do and SAY. And, inspite of it all, they probably love him. I don't think it's that they think they'll be getting a huge payday, but he's probably supporting them financially. A lot of mixed emotions there, which is the way they come across when talking to the media. They've been left motherless because of their father. I'm sad for them.

Well he did murder their mother so ... yes?

Allegedly.
Either that or the Exonerated Mountain lion who is also possibly suffering somewhere for being blamed in the wrong.,

I am sorry I watched that even though it was only in the spirit of attempting to analyse a detail.
But what caught my attention was the reports by them that the people of salida had become hostile towards them.

It makes a great story but I wonder whether it is true or not?

Is there anything out there to suggest this might have happened?

The people of Salida are in the best position to solve this.

They know the land.
They'll know all sorts of things..
hope they have enough.. I really do.

Tunnel vision! Ha!

Barry created the tunnel.

Yep, just plain old tunnel vision…

He framed himself, he's the one who put himself with Suzanne the minute her digital life ended. He's the one who put a gun in his hand, "possibly shooting chipmunks" He’s the one who made an “errant” turn that just happened to put him right on the road where her helmet was found, what are the odds? And he is the one who arranged a ridiculous alibi for the next day...a three-hour drive to be at a job where he did not work. Dumping trash (dare I say evidence) the whole way. Where it was illegal to work that Sunday, he laid in bed, and watched Tv I guess and waited for phone calls. Then left the job (because it was so important to get to on a Sunday) for other workers to complete without any tools or supplies. Changing his shirt through out the day and his room smelling of bleach for reasons unknown. Finally, to return to his home with police in tow, it's dark by now and his wife is missing and he does not even call out her name, not look around for her.

When Barry got released, he said her killer was still out there, at least he's admitting she's dead. And yes, her killer is out there Barry.

As far I know neither daughter lives in Salida, haven’t since not too long after the murder
Is he trying to say the folks of Gunnison and Crested Butte treating them poorly too?
I can see that behavior toward him for sure, rightly so but I don’t believe the daughters suffered much other than curiosity

BBM. I wasn't aware Barry said that! It's quite a Freudian slip! If Barry couldn't control her, he wanted her dead.

What I'd like to know is how and why did the daughters decided to go on a camping trip and miss Mother's Day. What, if any, role did their father play in their decision. Did they purchase flowers for their mother? Box of candy? Anything?

Yes. They're fearful of him doing the same to them. What an awful way to live. IMO, they know he murdered their mother, but don't want to rock the boat. At least they have each other.

Barry says the killer is still out there as he walks away from the courthouse, right at the beginning of this video clip.

Could be a tactic drawn up by IE to create a basket of victims, all 3 hounded, plus stated she was acting for him and his family in the 15mill thingy..

AFAIK they received minimal media exposure.
creating a narrative?
Part 2 will be whatever way that particular channel likes to present dramatic crime..?
The answers are in Colorado.
Suzanne is there.
Somewhere.
somewhere cadaver dogs could not reach, somewhere search parties could not search, yet within a finite location if movements of vehicle are indicative of roads travelled or duration of those journeys or even whether they were red herrings and she is still very close to her former home...

He probably knew enough from his hunting pleasures to leave her unclothed, without jewellery or any identifying marks but he will have made several mistakes.. he will have dropped something en route to that site, left something after him, lost something, there will be something somewhere, just find it. he would have been frenzied I imagine.

it's worth another search i think.

there is a deviation somewhere off the main track that he would have known, that possibly fellow hunters would have known because he would have told them or shown them and it's remarkable for some unusual reason possibly underground, possibly suspended above a cave like structure kind of but not exactly under water../?

that is all my imagination only... just running.. means nothing .

My mind keeps flashing back to the place where Andy's search party were turned back.
why?

I think the girls trip was a getaway as MM1 just finished exams and MM2 tagged along.

The land is vast and rugged. Without a tip or some evidence my guess is that the logical based on what is known areas has been searched.

IMO, the people of Salida probably didn’t like him before he killed SM. Not sure how hostile they became after the road to justice was averted, but many believe he did it.

“While few people were comfortable speaking with KRDO on camera, due to many of them being connected to the case in some way, those who did said they want to find Suzanne.”
[…]

“Others who spoke to KRDO Tuesday say they hope Morphew is eventually re-charged with his wife's murder. Some also said they're relieved it appears Morphew is still facing charges in a separate case.”
