I think the fact that Stanley didn't return their call is a sign they are very close to refiling the case. BM has figured out that Iris is a blow-hard, waste of his money.

This case is a textbook example of domestic violence. A bully, toxic narcissist killed her because she wanted out and pre-meditated murder is the result. I hope charges will be sooner rather than later.
With it without a grand jury prosecution has to put a case together that is winnable. The burden on the state remains the same.
