Any idea where her ex-partner Dru is now? Or why they parted ways?

From her LinkedIn, I'd say Dru joined a firm that partners with the Colorado Poverty Law Project to go after a Denver law firm and Landlords for charging tenants unauthorized attorneys fees and costs, whereas her former partner goes after prosecutors, investigators, and police for arresting and prosecuting a murderer. MOO

Not a technical answer but I can't help but to imagine there might have been a fracture over tactics. The rift between Eth and Ick.

I stand behind a suspect's right to a rigorous defense and a defense attorney's right to be rigorous, but to proffer untruths? That's not craft. That's crafty. And to me, it smells like the back end of a Bobcat.

Poor Iris. Now she’s advertising her ignorance and inability to understand the DNA found in SUZANNE’s murder investigation. I almost pity the poor woman for her limited intellectual ability to grasp the finer points of PARTIAL DNA.

However, my sorrow is all for SUZANNE, murdered by her murderous husband.

IMO

Thank you, and yes, she did add 'Of Counsel' to Experience and Activity:

No one is more excited than me to announce that I have joined such a distinguished civil rights firm. Siddhartha Rathod and Qusair Mohamedbhai have been my friends for years. Now I get to expand my litigation practice and work alongside their rock star team to help people who have been abused by governmental officials and discriminated by their employers. Let's GO!

I wonder how the distinguished law firm will feel when they find out out Iris expands on the truth, helps abusers, and discriminates against murder victims.

IMO

i just cannot accept that her license has not been bigly sanctioned..
I want to know what other lawyers from other states are saying about this?

It would not have been permitted to happen in Savannah.
See Leilanimal's case..

Longtime friends can be forgiving and keep you from going rogue. (IMO, DN was tired of babysitting IE).

Civil firms are all about the monetary award including the legal fees-- there's no incarceration in this practice of law, and we know IE commands a hefty billing rate. MOO

Imagine a top-notch defense attorney forgetting the difference between facts and allegations. But with this one, if IE thinks it, it must be true. Pfft..

it's so bizarre that she claims that the DNA stuff was hidden from the defence, yet her examination of Cahill at the prelim was critical to BM getting bail.

The oh so secret evidence that was discussed in front of the judge and was critical to his ruling ... sigh

I hope this pair of bozos lose this case in a BIG WAY, and I believe they will. I hope it wipes the 'smug' right off their faces.

Cahill had an axe to grind, his testimony on the stand surely didn't help the State. Grusing on the other hand is impeccable. So very genuine and he was playing Barry like a fiddle during his many conversations. Easy to do considering BM thinks he's the smartest man in any room.

ALL MOO

We don’t know much about the civil attorneys although if I recall they were often in court. As far as sanctions against any of the defense team from the dismissed trial hard to say. The only good thing about legal proceedings is so much is documented if there was sanctionable actions it feels like it would be documented at the trial or in the media if public statements. And it feels like since LS’s review is known if any other lawyers involved in the original case were under review the media would have ferreted out that info also but who knows.

They conveniently forgot the "without prejudice" part in the first and last sentences and completely made up the exculpatory DNA.

Beginning to think Iris only knows certain words and phrases such as "egregious prosecutorial misconduct"
I think it may be her meditational mantra

And I'm not going to comment on the dedicated fight for his life tripe.

We all know who fought for her freedom and a life free of Barry.

Whenever I read about SM's remains ending up in the Broomfield trash bins, I'm reminded of 81- year-old Gail Wilson of Lakewood, murdered in his home in October 2021, and his body has never been recovered.

According to one of the three defendants arrested for his murder, Wilson's body was disposed of in several dumpsters around Denver.

The third suspect in the murder of Mr. Wilson was convicted of first-degree murder this week so now all 3 defendants can be sentenced (2 suspects accepted plea deals earlier). Even with their cooperation, 10 days after the murder, Mr. Wilson's body was never found. A bittersweet end to a horrific crime bestowed on a kind, old man. :( Three Sentenced.

So true, it’s all about the numbers, billable hours! Likely, they assume she’ll attract a certain market area to increase revenue.

Billable hours, blood money.

Please remind me. Did SM's friend (SO) tell LE about the "spy pen" she helped SM purchase?

Yes she did on May 11, 2020. The day after SM was reported missing.

Hi all.
Another day where Suzanne crosses my mind. Think of her daily, still have hope she will be found. Seeing cases like LISK and the arrest of someone gives me added hope. Also, not going to lie, hope that Barry is experiencing some serious 'squeaky bum time' when he hears such things.
10 hours, 10 days, 10 weeks, 10 months, 10 years or more - the truth about what he did will be uncovered. The monster will be unmasked.

Hope you are all well and feeling healthy, happy and loved xx

Just this morning I saw a gorgeous picture of Salida with Tenderfoot Mountain ( S mountain) in the background and a view of the Arkansas, sad that she isn’t there enjoying summer

I hope so too.

In another murder, part of a "sisterhood" of wives murdered and disappeared by their husbands, in CA, Maya Millete's husband's trial was just delayed and his trial pushed out to January because the husband says he's out of money and if he can't get an influx of cash from the conservatorship to pay for his defense, he's going to need a public defender assigned to his case. (Since the husband's arrest, a Conservator has since been appointed to sell the family residence and provide for the minor children).

I also want to believe this delay will not be wasted, and investigators will use the opportunity to expand the search area for Maya's body, just as I hope Chaffee County is doing the same while the days are long and the weather is dry. MOO

Here's to hope and justice for the many women like Suzanne and Maya, intelligent, kind, well loved and liked women who had so much to live for and so much to give.

Sorry for the delay in reply, had a read about the conservatorship - what's with these people, taking money from their children's present and future to pay to defend themselves for their evil and shockingly bad choices and crimes.
A Public defender should be good enough. If they didn't do it, then there's nothing to worry about as money can't buy the truth.

Larry and Barry. Ugh.

Agree -- Barry & Larry, the Sociopaths next door.

The talking heads on CourtTV opined this evening that the Judge will no doubt deny Larry's request to extract monies from the conservatorship to pay for his defense. It's bad enough he already used up the couple's joint savings to get through the preliminary hearing. It sounds like the next question will be whether or not his current attorney (Martinez) wants to continue defending him (as a public defender contractor) or whether the Judge will appoint the next public defender on the rotation to represent Larry.

Didn't recall reading this article previously.
Iris's comments about how Barry loves Suzanne - wondering what SD made of those comments? Bet that hurt, after all, she got herself all arrested for trespassing for Barry.

Also liked the comment about how NO neighbours reported a disturbance when Barry was running round after Chip 'n' Dale, shooting at them. Like one does.
