I’m glad Suzanne has been found. At this moment, I don’t care about the details. Just so happy she is no longer alone.

Its just the worst..
being hidden away...a dirty secret from the world.....

In honesty I would rather her be found and no justice then justice and no body.

Nobody take that out of context....pleeeeeease! :p

THE BODY OF A MISSING COLORADO WOMAN HAS BEEN FOUND The El Paso County coroner, Leon Kelly, is confirming the identity of the remains of a woman found near Moffat, in Saguache County, as those of Suzanne Morphew. The woman has been missing for three years and her mysterious disappearance has gained international attention. The 49 year old mother of three went missing from her home near Salida in May of 2020. Her husband, Barry Morphew, was arrested shortly after her death but the charges were later dropped. Agents with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation located what was left of the body on Friday. The remains were discovered during a search in an unrelated case. Former Prosecutor Dan May will be a guest on the “THE RICHARD RANDALL SHOW” to give his thoughts on the case and what we can expect next.

It’s truly a gift from above that she was found. Prayers were answered.

Also wondering when she was buried ?
As in, that same night --before the 'work trip'; or did the husband move her sometime after death ?
Omo.

Pretty sure she was dead while still at Puma Path.

I doubt that any forensic technique will give a time of burial within hours or days. Can you say more about why the timing matters to you? She was missing already on Mother's Day (she was not alive, IMO). He's out running around Colorado.

She could have been still alive when taken to her burial site and that's a good question (tranquilizer dart theory). It horrifies me though.

She could have been moved several times (soil analysis should help with that). At the time of the murder, there were rumors about a particular area, near a Fire Station, where people saw Barry at some point. IMO.

Sadly, not sure an autopsy can tell if she was alive or not when she was buried. However, if anything like a gun was used in killing her, that will be future news. If instead he shot her with a tranquilizer dart, removed her from the Puma Path premises, and then killed her via some method such as smothering or biochemical means - we may never know.

Did they ever find Suzanne's cell phone?

I’m really hoping there are news reporters knocking on Barry’s door in Indiana.

Great points.

I do think a live burial might leave some evidence in her lungs, depending on how decomposed the body is.

Regarding burial, I was thinking Barry would have went deep. He certainly has the knowledge, strength and tools to do so.

It's unbelievable how easy the route would be for BM. He only needed one eye to transport SM from Maysville to the Moffat area in Saguache County!

Google Maps
Yep, and there are many, many big game hunting areas in the Rio Grande National Forest between Salida and Moffat. It looks like the turnoff to access many of these areas is at the town of Moffat (CO Rd U60). I'm also noticing that some addresses in the area come up as either Moffat or Saguache (Edna Quintana's official "missing from" location) which is quite common in unincorporated Colorado.

List of big game hunting areas in the National Forest and map: Rio Grande National Forest - Sheep Creek Trail #770

We are told Barry hunted or fished almost every single day. What are the chances this area, within an hour of Salida, wouldn't be incredibly well-known to him?

What a shame he wouldn’t have a daughter there to MISUSE as a block denying the reporters’ access to him.

I don’t really think that…it was abusive that he did that.

We all thought that. I liked the mine shaft idea, but we also knew multiple cadaver dogs hit on his Bobcat, despite GPS data ruling it out.

It’s very difficult to dig in that type of soil, and it appears that a shallow grave was the best he could do with the time he had.

This wreaks of panic, and not some well thought out coherent plan. It’s like he put all his mental energy into the murder itself, and then decided to wing the disposal.

Shallow grave means any clothing would be contained therein....

Lion wouldn't undress her.

Left a trove of forensic evidence if you ask me.

I'm glad for those that loved her. There's something comforting about knowing where she is.

Rest now Suzanne! I hope beyond hope that justice may now be served! He can NO LONGER tell your beautiful children that you ran away or a wild animal got you. I hope Barry is sweating bullets about now. I also hope that they will dot their i's and cross their t's to be able to take this all the way to conviction!

TEARS.

I found 16 four leaf clovers last week. I hope all of that luck filtered right to Suzanne.

Keep the faith, always!

He did that like he builds walls.

Hurry through the work, collect his $, and hope no one is up to holding him accountable.
