I can't think of a single animal in Colorado who would be happy to support Barry.I think they can! Unfortunately, BM is on their ”do not visit” list!!![]()

Wow. I assumed she ran over. She didn’t run over I recall although I don’t recall if the judge called time. But prosecution had time left they didn’t use. Judge Murphy was keeping track.
bbmI wonder what intel led LE to the beach site.
If the neighbor hadn't been startled awake, hadn't turned her porch light on, where would this case be now.
I think he bolted because he knew he'd been caught.
Get me from the beach front to the sagebrush boneyard and I bet, minute for minute, it lines up.
He "borrowed" a truck.
bbmOne of IEs main tricks is to come up with a different explanation for some established facts/data, then claim her theory is exculpatory evidence.
Static drift is the perfect example. There is no evidence there ever was any static drift.
Where are all his damn coolers? Where could they be?Coolers were oddly missing from his house.
I don't know, but I know hunters because I'm married to one, birthed one, and have many friends married to one.. lol They all have coolers.. many many many coolers. I feel like it's standard equipment for a hunter of Barry's type. So if they all disappeared at the same time that sure is suspicious. Maybe an innocent explanation for it, but there are also plenty of not good reason for it.Where are all his damn coolers? Where could they be?
I won't rule out any cause of death until offical information is released. Up until Gannon Stauch's autopsy report was released, I don't think any one's mind was able to imagine his cause of death. I'm sure there are more places than not in CO, where gunfire is just a normal sound. At the time of Suzanne's death, Barry was a master at luring, abusing, trapping, scalping, skinning, killing and gutting all creatures. When it comes to getting what he wants, what he feels entitled or preventing narcissistic injury, I believe he is capable of anything. IMOO.
that comment he made makes it sound premeditated. Who would ever make a comment like that?bbm
I believe you are absolutely spot on about this! Maybe it was the interview with MG that caused LE to remove a chunk of the foundation Barry laid then sifte through all of the dirt. [AA page 50]
BM's comment that he "would be able to bury a body and it would never be found ." was made on May 9 to MG while in his truck as they left that "River house job". I don't recall whether the concrete was poured at that time though. When BM called her later that night, MG said to herself that BM sounded like he had the worst night of his life. I bet he did.
I can't recall if the Bobcat was at the site at the time he needed to dispose of her body. Wasn't there a hit from the K-9s on the bucket of the Bobcat? He may have placed her body in one of those contractor garbage bags believing the scent wouldn't be detectable.
When BM called MG at 11:15 that night, she said to herself that BM sounded like he had the worst night of his life. He sure did! Getting spooked while trying to bury your wife then forced to find another burial site at the last minute like that can make for a bad night. So, your idea also explains the reason for the shallow grave on the side of the road. It wasn't part of BM's plan.

Assuming the coolers went to the burial area, I would think their disposal also occurred somewhere in that area, for the same reasons he chose it for the body (far from his stomping grounds and the opposite direction he was headed the next day).Where are all his damn coolers? Where could they be?

Cement and rocks were available to BM everytime, his toys so-to-say. I find it an obvious method, exact for this landscaper! - Though one doesn't know atm, WHY he had to dispose of the coolers since Suzanne has been found ....Another possibility that occurs to me is to submerge them with rocks in one of the many irrigation ponds that are visible on Google Earth north of Moffat. I would think this less likely.

Need to put those lambs in our zoo!And the media and nearly all the people, like lambs to the slaughter joined her on her 'alternative' reality planet.
It is my opinion that the alternative civil rights lawyer is taking up far too much of my time and not for the first time.
This straight after Tee and just prior to Tee is making it a Tee sandwich for me.
(antn' we can go digging while we're awaiting, that we did not dig before?)
Like shortcuts to the burial ground? Possibility he dug it on a different occasion ?
Clay can actually be very hard to dig, almost like rock, especially when it's dry. Just 2 months ago, hubby and I tried to plant a couple of bushes where something was needed. It was mostly clay with some rock. We dug what we could, filled the holes with water, and left them overnight. Only then could we make any headway with the clay.Looking at soils data for the San Luis Valley in the vicinity of the burial site, the material should be a mixture of sand, silt and clay, not rocky. This is consistent with its location in a dry lakebed. Logs from a number of wells around Moffat indicate sand and clay at the surface with no reported hardpan (the kind of shallow layer that would represent the deepest a person could likely go with a shovel).
The type of shallow soil material in the area where Suzanne was found should have been fairly easy digging for a pushup king pumped on adrenaline.
You would think that surely the daughters would be wondering about the coolers, wouldn't you? Especially since they knew a bit about hunting.Where are all his damn coolers? Where could they be?

I agree, where clay comprises the majority of a soil it can be hard as porcelain when dry. The materials in the burial area were a more even mix of sand, silt and clay which generally makes for much easier digging.Clay can actually be very hard to dig, almost like rock, especially when it's dry. Where were the coolers discussed? I searched arrest affidavit and civil complaint for ice chest, cooler and didn't find anything. Also guys here me out..
We are assuming he didn't shoot her based on not finding the evidence at the house, but we don't know that he didn't shoot her or beat her over the head, which would leave very clear evidence in her remains. He took her to the middle of nowhere and a gunshot there wouldn't have been noticed. He has her sedated and he's getting more and more mad about what she has done. He's reading her journal and he's more man than he's ever been. He can't shoot her at the house, that would be messy. He gets in her car.. maybe he's even going to leave her car somewhere as if she did go for a bike ride.. something is messed up though. He can't leave her where he planned too so now he's coming up with a new plan. He drives south and shooting her in the middle of nowhere wouldn't be heard.
Coolers were oddly missing from his house. A hunter that goes on hunting trips and brings his kill back.. has coolers. Did he use a cooler or two? Maybe because there was blood. He had hours and hours and hours to clean up and he threw away a lot of trash.. bags full of trash. If he strangled her and just needed to toss her phone or her outfit.. what else was he throwing away? Makes me wonder. I am starting to wonder if something was messy, but just not at the house. He is a hunter.. it's awful to consider, but my mind does go there.
IF he did shoot her, a bullet would be there also. Perhaps a bullet that matches that one found on the bedroom floor.
Not saying I think this is what happened, but we can't rule out something like this. With her being found so far away in the middle of nowhere.. with all that trash being tossed. Maybe just maybe he needed to clean up in that hotel room because he did make a mess. Threw away his boots so no dirt from those boots show where he really was.

You're very clever and I think this is a hoot! What you refer to as IE's main trick is probably what she regards as legal expertise and reason for her high fees. I bet she fine tuned her own bag of tricks and will most likely use them throughout the rest of her career. Knowing her tricks is key to out-lawyering her in the courtroom![]()
There's also a landfill on hwy 285 in Saguache County which would be very convenient.Assuming the coolers went to the burial area, I would think their disposal also occurred somewhere in that area, for the same reasons he chose it for the body (far from his stomping grounds and the opposite direction he was headed the next day).
Do we know the size of the missing coolers? They might have ranged from 40-200 quarts, which are on the order of 30-40” long.
Given the likely size and possibility that more than one was used (ugh), what comes to mind is he would have cut them into smaller pieces and disposed of them in dumpsters on his way back up Highway 17. Looking at Google Earth there are quite a few possible places. For example, the next crossroad north of the burial site (Road T) has a dispensary and a Dollar General, both with dumpsters. There are quite a few more dumpster spots further north in Moffat and Villa Grove. This would be consistent with his modus operandi for other evidence disposal (dumpsters on the way to Broomfield).
Another possibility that occurs to me is to submerge them with rocks in one of the many irrigation ponds that are visible on Google Earth north of Moffat. I would think this less likely.
I disagree a 2 page AA would have sufficed. This was a no body case with no physical evidence, not even blood. The AA for Patrick Frazee's arrest was also about 30 pages. MOOI think they could have had a 2 page document and gotten an arrest warrant. Imagine that and how much the defense would have claimed was "left out".. probably cause is as easy as she her girls left May 5th, she texted Barry on May 6th that she was done. She was leaving him. He deleted many texts from that exchanged and lied to LE about the state of their marriage. Her phone went silent in the morning hours before Barry left for Broomfield. She never communicated again with anyone after 2:47pm on May 9th when Barry's phone showed he was running around the house and then he put his phone in airplane mode. He changed his story many times over the course of the various interviews to fit evidence presented to him. He lied about where he was on Sunday May 10th.
What else would have been needed to be said?
