He could be in fear that Suzanne's body could tell a tale ?I'll give him this: he probably was stunned. By flashbacks from jail.

I do think she lied.I think I asked earlier but I am curious what statements IE has made in court or in motions that are "lies". She's many adjectives depending on one's perception but I'm not so sure she's a "liar" in court. That would not be in her career interest or anybody she's defending to lie outright in court. As far as obfuscating I think both sides in the initial trial did abit of this and it's totally not uncommon as a defense tactic like it or not. There were holes you could walk an elephant through in the original case on the prosecution side I've always felt, and she saw, and she pounced. It's her job. I do not think she "lied".
That, and the fact that the prosecution now has a body, which they did not have when he was initially charged. It allowed his team to claim that Suzanne wasn’t even dead. Not anymore. He could be in fear that Suzanne's body could tell a tale ?
A body within range of the timeframe he had in which to conceal her....That, and the fact that the prosecution now has a body, which they did not have when he was initially charged. It allowed his team to claim that Suzanne wasn’t even dead. Not anymore.
Apologies if this has been asked and/or answered, but is there any confirmation as to where Barry lives now? Thanks.

There must have been a few because the DA dismissed the case. That does not happen unless there are problems with the case...IMOA you please give me one hole “you could walk an elephant through?” Just one.
The case was dismissed because they couldn’t present it, full stop (but not). There must have been a few because the DA dismissed the case. That does not happen unless there are problems with the case...IMO

Prosecution says the defense thinks they get a checklist of everything that law enforcement officials have done and everything that has happened in the investigation on the side of CCSO and CBI. Prosecution says that's not appropriate.

Prosecution says attorney for defense thinks he is sitting on information and hiding it. He says that is not the case and the defense has everything that he has. They feel the defense is trying to go around an order made by previous judge on the case.

I'm pleased cheap skate BM must be so stressed watching his money being drained by legal fees.It must have been immensely galling for BM, notorious cheapskate, to have been forced to dispose of his beloved fleet of coolers. I bet he weeps a silent tear every time he passes a Coleman display.
Especially since he couldn't just go bury them in a field in order to avoid the pittance charged by a town dump.
Or...?
This.I do think she lied.
She knows more about Barry right now than anyone ever has, because his life and freedom rely on it.
She's known who and what he is and what he's done right from the off. The "human" in her would have known, remove the defence lawyer title and take away all the legal phrasing/technicalties.
You read that AA - he has done this. There's no other reasonable version, none. It's not the Twilight Zone, Bermuda Triangle, alternative reality or The X Files.
It really is that simple, husband murdered his wife who wanted to leave her abusive relationship and he couldn't accept that.
Jmo, moo, imo
Running around chasing Suzanne at 30 mph with a dart gun for starters. When I read that in the AA and in the preliminary I knew instinctively there were going to be issues with their theory. It could have all been so different sadly if they would have just held off until they had all their facts together. But we all know that.A you please give me one hole “you could walk an elephant through?” Just one.
Barry admits to it. You’re literally ignoring the most important aspect here. Please tell me you aren’t calling him a liar.Running around chasing Suzanne at 30 mph with a dart gun for starters. Police had the victims tooth in Frazees bonfire, and a witness who aided in covering up the crime. This AA will be naturally be longer.I disagree a 2 page AA would have sufficed. This was a no body case with no physical evidence, not even blood. The AA for Patrick Frazee's arrest was also about 30 pages. MOO
Letecia Stauch AA was 32 pages. Long before they knew she had transported the body out of state and all the weapons/methods she had used.Police had the victims tooth in Frazees bonfire, and a witness who aided in covering up the crime. This AA will be naturally be longer.

I don’t believe those words have ever been used in a sentence in court before.Nope. Nowhere in the AA or preliminary did the prosecution claim BM was chasing SM at 30 MPH!
That allegation exaggerating the speed BM was moving (OP forgot to add through walls) was one more lie by the defense. And just to be clear, I don't believe a dart gun is involved here but certainly don't need to lie about my opposition's theories to make my case. JMO
ETA: Add link for day 2 of prelim
SALIDA, Colo. (CBS4) - On day two of a preliminary hearing for Barry Morphew, who is accused of killing his wife, Suzanne, much of the morning was spent rehashing Suzanne's relationship with the man investigators have referred to as her lover, Jeff Libler. In the afternoon, prosecutors outlined Barry's and Suzanne's movements in the days surrounding her disappearance.
[..]
Investigators used GPS records and data from his Ford F350 to pinpoint his locations. Grusing showed a map of [h]is cell phone pings around the house stating that they were all over the outside of the house, indicating he was chasing Suzanne while she was still conscious.
[..]
On Tuesday, Morphew's defense team attempted to poke holes in this theory saying it was purely speculation and that the cell phone pings showed Barry going through walls.
"Do you still believe you have evidence that he is most likely chasing Suzanne?" Barry's attorney, Dru Nielson asked.
"Yes," replied Grusing.
"What?" She asked exasperated, "Due to the chipmunk statement?"
"Yes," replied Grusing.

Prosecutors Outline Barry And Suzanne Morphew's Movements On Days Around Her Disappearance
In day two of Barry Morphew's preliminary hearing, prosecutors outlined his movements, and his wife's actions, in the days surrounding her disappearance.www.cbsnews.com
I presume Iris meant that Barry could not recall the exact conversation, not that he had no idea there had even been one. So that really doesn't excuse him not contacting her.“The family is in shock,” said Morphew’s attorney, Iris Eytan.
She said that as Suzanne’s next of kin, Barry Morphew was notified by the coroner that his wife’s remains had been found and that he was so stunned, he could not recall the conversation."
So THAT'S how Bury explained his not having notified Iris! Seriously??! (I do hope he was stunned, though - stunned and afraid that his goose is suddenly much nearer to being cooked)![]()
Reminiscent of conversations with Suzanne he couldn't recall.I presume Iris meant that Barry could not recall the exact conversation, not that he had no idea there had even been one. So that really doesn't excuse him not contacting her.
