I wonder which "certain Chaffee County Employees" they are thinking of dismissing?
Yes, wondering the same...

Probably why he was scared to call her and tell her they found Suzanne‘s body. For someone living in a swirl of murder accusations, of course the very first thing they would do is reach out to their bestie hotshot bulldog lawyer to strategize.I don't think IE thought Suzanne was going to surface.
She must've believed in Barry implicitly.
I mean in his ability to bury a body.
All that work on a civil suit, sad paper tiger.

Replying to my own post lolI wonder ….
why you would notice the court or even mention publicly that you are “considering” dismissing certain Chaffee county employees from the civil suit.
Either you dismiss them or you don’t.
So what’s the angle/ strategy here.
Is there a Chaffee county employee or ex employee they are trying to curry favor with for some purpose ?
Someone they feel may be helpful to them?
Just thinking out loud.
Feels like carrot on a stick situation

Trying to back out ....Replying to my own post lol
I mean think about it.
What is her incentive to dismiss anyone from the suit?
So there must be a motive. Is it an above board way to be “trolling for a snitch” ? Feels totally gratuitous.
What am I missing? Would she really be that transparent?
JMO
I think all defendants should be dismissed but can you imagine suing the Chaffee County Board of Commissioners for violating BM's civil rights, withholding evidence, etc? Who next -- the janitors and building maintenance? This was nothing more than a $15M money grab. JMOReplying to my own post lol

I wonder if Barry will be in his truck listening....
I have a feeling Mrs. Ritter knows a lot...Suzanne also asked Mrs. R not to come around that weekend because of her telling BM it was over. So that tells me that Suzanne was more worried about BM than we thought.
Oh how I wish she would have waited until she was not all alone for the entire weekend to tell that monster.

I suspect she was the first one to have her hinky meter go up when Barry suggested the bike ride.
No doubt she was someone Suzanne trusted and I am curious what she knows. She isn't mentioned much in the AA.. just the parts about being asked to go look for Suzanne, but I think LE got plenty from her about that final coffee date on the 6th.
Good points!I recall we analyzed the "I'm done" text on 5/6/23 to near-death. Today, I wonder if BM did not come home the night before and SM wasn't going to wait for graduation -- she wanted to start the divorce NOW! (Messages that followed included the 'mistress happy' and BM threatening suicide).
SM already had a confidant-- S.O. I don't think she'd confide in her neighbor because she'd long been trained to portray the golden, trophy family that they were not.
We also know that initially, their only neighbors surrounding the Morphew compound (Cushmans and Ritters) were very supportive and helpful to BM. Ritters were the first to host BM, and Cushmans the last.
IMO, the AA not only changed the minds of the Ritters-- it scared them to the point they left the PH seeking a PO from BM, whereas the Cushmans told the Court to release him -- he was welcome in their home. JMO
Tweet dated 10/9, I think this premiered on 10/10:
I just listened to an excellent podcast episode. Body Bags with Joseph Scott Morgan was on Suzanne's case. Lots of general info about burying bodies, what to expect from a body that was out there this long as far as animal activity and so on. Nothing stated as facts in this case since nobody has that info, just general information about shallow buried bodies and what they can and can't tell, etc. Very informative.
Still so many questions: what flipped SM not to wait until HS graduation next spring for divorce, and what enraged BM to flee his truck leaving the door open for hours??Suzanne also asked Mrs. R not to come around that weekend because of her telling BM it was over. So that tells me that Suzanne was more worried about BM than we thought.

Speaking of that camping trip, I noticed on page 14 of the 185 page Federal complaint that it says the daughters were due back on May 10 OR May 11.Still so many questions: what flipped SM not to wait until HS graduation next spring for divorce, and what enraged BM to flee his truck leaving the door open for hours??
Recalling when we were all certain BM promoted the camping trip. Maybe it was SM who wanted the daughters gone so she could break the divorce news to BM.
I think SO's testimony will answer many questions. Or so I hope. MOO

I don’t remember ever hearing that before! Didn’t BM always contend that they were planning to be home on May 10 - Mother’s Day?
During his roadside chat with Tyson Draper he said that they were planning to have dinner as a family.. and that the “ girls were running late”
Am I remembering that correctly?

This absolutely rings true. I’ve seen years-long wagon circling of “men” at uncomfortably close range(!)—not re: murder, but extreme negligence, betrayal, and maleficence indirectly leading to loss of life. “He’s such a beautiful person. So charming. A good provider.” IMOI think his closest inner circle : daughters, sisters, mother, if they were honest would tell you they are already living with that version of reality in their minds - they sense he did it but the affair/ her wanting a divorce in a twisted thinking way, gave him the right to kill her.
With all the evidence info out there how could you not at least suspect if not know.
In their eyes his love for her was just so all consuming that he lost his mind and killed her out of an abundance of love.
And now well, you cannot undo what’s done, he is still alive, so these women circle the wagons around BM for his protection. He has always counted on women to hold him up. I don’t see that dynamic ending, esp with the mother and his daughters, frankly ever. JMO
My guess is it's some people incidental to everything...some one mentioned commissioners or office staff. That seems prudent at this point. I don't know. My gut says they will play this whole thing out but who knows. The appeal lawyers know everything and were often in court. IE is helping them through her new relationship with the civil attorneys. If they took it on contingency then I see them playing the whole thing out.Chaffee county Sheriff's office employees?
