“Suzanne was almost over her chemo.”
This was her final cancer check. They probably scheduled a date for removal of the port.

She must have been so happy and excited.

There is some stuff I am confused about as there is so much cross referencing involved, gaps in the exhibits and sometimes it is not clear what stuff actually happened and what stuff is BMs account

Help appreciated!

Like according to BM, saturday am was just a normal morning. he made SM breakfast then went to the beach work site in Salida.

Well we know he was at the site but his truck does not appear until 10.00am on saturday

Why did SM text him to pick up spa chemicals when they were in her car? Did she actually do that? Are those different ones?

Where was BM on friday night and first thing saturday morning? e.g he has a call to SM at 8.00 pm friday night and his last telematics event for friday is at 8.12pm at location "CR 105"

So did he call SM and she picked him up at CR105? That would make a lot of sense to me as the first Truck events at 10.00am Saturday are "park lights on" and "Odometer read"

In this case how did BM get to work on saturday? Was he picked up?

Some of this could simply be due to the fact that the prelim was a short form contest where we don't have complete exhibits
Sat. he met Morgan at the beach job site. They left about 2 hours later - triggered by the call with phone call with Suzanne.

I think you are correct - he picked her up on Friday not Saturday

But still the same issue - how did Barry get to the job site on saturday morning to start work at 7.30am?

From the AA

The thing here is that SM's phone is being positioned by the tower not by GPS - so 'static drift' is not a thing here, or at least not in the same way

Say the tower appears to show the phone on the move, before it disconnects on the road to Garfield at 4.23 am

How accurate are these readings? Hard to say, but it is a hell of a coincidence when we know BM was heading that way at that time.
BBM. I think the expert witness will convince a jury that it is more than a coincidence!

It certainly helped nail Patrick Frazee!

Saguache County Sheriff's Office https://www.facebook.com/SCSOCO/

2h ·

There is a heavy police presence at Gunnison and 9th within the Town of Saguache. The activity will continue for the foreseeable future. This is an ongoing investigation, and details will be released when they become available. The Saguache County Sheriff's Office, along with CBI, Colorado State Patrol, Alamosa Sheriff's Office, and Center Police Department, are working the scene. The Sheriff's Office is asking the community to be patient during this time and avoid the area if possible. No further information is available at this time.
Can't seem to find any updates regarding this activity today.

Is this related to the EQ case or the suspect in the JM case...or neither?

In Colorado? He was convicted of a felony and Judge Murphy gave him permission only to have a bow or muzzle loader:

Of course, I suppose the situation could have changed, but CO law is pretty clear that a convicted felon cannot own firearms (the sentence for the felony included gun restrictions, so I assume that forgery carries a sentence of up to several years - even though Barry pleaded out and got a reduced sentence, it's still a qualifying felony in CO, I think.

Did we learn that the Judge had changed his order? I know it can be appealed, etc. Did Barry appeal it?

The above article has him living in Denver, btw. I have no clue where he actually is, of course.

BM's plea deal was for a deferred sentence. In other words, BM's felon status is no longer on his record after he completed community service and supervised probation successfully. Order for Muzzle loader or bow applied only during probation when he could not possess a firearm.

ETA: It doesn't follow BM would Motion to have his guns and other seized property returned to him if he could no longer possess a weapon.

I don’t think he ran through all his money. And at the end he would have gotten his cash bail back. He’s probably not worth what he was before he was arrested but he’s not indigent in my opinion.
You're right, he probably hasn't ran though Suzanne's money.
After all Iris still needs paying, "HELLO, GMA"

It's pretty clear he is under orders not to make any public statement. Not even read from a sheet.

At the moment.
Don't thing it will be long before Camp Morphew are giving interviews though and it doesn't have to be Barry.

It’s conceivable he spent $500,000. Hard to know.

Howdy, Cassady.

The discussion picks up here in Edna Quintana's WS thread, afaik.

I don't quite understand, how it's supposed to work:
BM sues all sorts of people for defamation of reputation and gets justice. Afterwards a new trial takes place perhaps (because Suzanne was found), and at the end BM is possibly convicted as the murderer, he was already suspected of being in 2020. Did someone still damage his reputation???
Lol I know, crazy.

Below is the entire statement from Barry Morphew's attorney below:

The first and most important focus should be that the Morphews just learned that they lost their beautiful mother and wife after she disappeared 3 ½ years ago.

What appears to be the overriding focus is a finger pointing right back where it started 3 ½ years ago: a movement to blindly re-accuse Barry for Suzanne's death.

Here are the facts.

According to the authorities, Suzanne Morphew was NOT found anywhere in the vicinity of her home, the town nearby, or the county she lived in. She was found in Moffat, Colorado. Moffat is 45 miles south and a 45-minute drive away from the Morphew home located in Maysville, Colorado.

According to authorities who found Suzanne, her remains were found in a shallow grave in a dry desert field of sagebrush and natural grasses. Contrary to prior accusations, her remains were not found in a rocky mountainous region near her home, not in a location that was a "difficult spot" to get to, or near the home and impossible to get to due to being in a mine or under frozen tundra and buried under 6 feet of snow.

Barry was the most scrutinized, dissected, surveilled individual, minute by minute, hour by hour using law enforcement cameras posted by his home, phone taps and GPS devices placed on his car – all during the time frame of her disappearance and the years following.

At no time did the FBI, CBI, Chaffee County Sheriff's Office, or DA's Office pinpoint or even generally claim that Barry was in any area south of his home, near Moffat, or anywhere near Saguache County at any relevant time frame. It would be ludicrous for anyone to now try to fit the now-known facts to prior false assumptions and accusations.

It was the Saguache County Officials who fortunately stumbled onto Suzanne's remains last week while looking for another missing woman, Edna Quintana. Law enforcement officials that were supposedly looking for Suzanne, were never looking for Suzanne in the Moffat area or area South of Maysville, because they only focused in on Barry being the suspect. And, they knew Barry was not South of Maysville, and certainly not 45 miles South.

The authorities focused their search for Suzanne in the area near the Morphew home utilizing his phone and car forensics. The authorities pointed to the locations where Barry was May 9 and 10, 2020. Barry was in Salida (north of his home), or in or near his home, and then on May 10, 2020 at 5:00 a.m. drove to Broomfield, Colorado, a city 156 miles North of Maysville. He was never south of the house, and that is why they did not search that area. See FBI's map relied upon by the authorities about Barry's whereabouts on May 9 and 10, 2020.

The Morphew home, Barry's truck, Suzanne's and daughters' vehicles were immediately searched for evidence of human remains and Suzanne's blood using both forensics and dog sniff searches. There was no forensic evidence of Suzanne's deceased body or blood in any of the vehicles.

What needs to be done instead of pointing fingers at Barry Morphew, is asking the officials about the number of missing people and the number of human remains that have been recovered in or from Saguache County in the recent past.

Whatever happened to Krystal Reisinger, Edna Quintana, Suzanne, the man whose remains were found by Saguache County Sheriff's office in the foothills on July 26, 2023, or the remains of the person found in another area in Saguache County last weekend (more info to come from authorities tomorrow). What were the circumstances of their disappearances, what is the cause and manner of death of the remains found in the area, what happened to them, are they looking for other remains in this area?

The public should demand answers about these five people who suspiciously went missing or were found dead in this area.

The Morphew family and legal team believe that CBI, local law enforcement, and the local DA's office have a conflict of interest and should not be involved in the future investigation of Suzanne's death. An objective and unbiased examination of Suzanne's death can only be conducted by an outside and independent team of investigators.

When law enforcement focuses in on one person and refuses to review evidence objectively and fairly, it is a disservice to the community and creates exactly what has come to light… years of unsolved murders.

I am not surprised at anything BM might Motion, frankly. As I understand it, he didn't get his guns back.

I believe there must be a reason and if the Judge violated the law to keep him away from his guns, then that's not good.

While poking around into Barry's legal status (I'm not quite willing to pay for his 3 criminal records and their disposition), I did notice that WhitePages has him recently moving to Atlanta, Indiana after a stay in Noblesville, IN. And I figure gun laws in Indiana are different to those in CO anyway.

It's odd that he's listed as having convictions, though. I always thought it was up to the Judge and optional whether a deferred sentence resulted in absence of record of felony. I know it's true in New York that it's automatically off the record if the convicted felon fulfills the terms of the deferred sentence, but I didn't realize it was also true in Colorado. It looks to me as if sealing the matter is not automatic, and even if sealed, it still shows up on federal background checks.

Possessing a firearm while on deferred is not permitted under federal law even if you are on deferred for certain state offenses, which we will discuss next.,,Again, state and federal law are contradictory. A person on DFAJ can possess a firearm and ammunition and go hunting while on deferred under Texas law, but to the extent outlined above it would be prohibited under federal law.
That's from a Texas lawyer's page (where Texans have the ability to retain their guns with certain deferred sentences, but apparently the feds disagree).

At any rate, Barry has several ways to get around the gun ownership issue. He can always borrow a gun from someone else.

Apparently were no actual phone calls that day. I believe Barry's went to her voicemail.

So she begged him to be home more in October 2019. He joined the VFD to add his away time of work, gym, hunting.
By December she is leaving him.

MOO his comment Saturday morning 5/9/20 "make the wife happy" with a mutual hike or etc. was a some residual late realization he had ignored something important.

^^ BBM
And who defines the relevant time frame, Iris? This is rich-- coming from the defense that admitted an exhibit into evidence (BERLA report) from BM's truck telematics which conveniently hid the date/times his truck was in shown in Crestone-- a few stones from Moffat (Saguache County).
^^BBM
And this statement in the press release by IE was an outright lie --most likely to boost the alleged body count in this suspicious, boneyard, County! To be clear, no additional body and no authorities came out "tomorrow" with the promised more info to come. But IE achieved getting more misinformation into MSM and the minds of the unsuspecting public.

Confirmed, the motion was denied for any/all property returned including his firearms:

10/26/22

Barry Morphew had his request for the return of his seized property denied by a judge. In April, a judge dismissed the case against the Chaffee County man accused of murder in the disappearance of his wife, Suzanne Morphew.

According to court documents, a motion to return the property was filed May 26. That motion claims that the prosecution has been in possession of Morphew's property for more than two years and "there is no link between the property to the location or circumstances of Mrs. Morphew's disappearance."

When #BarryMorphew wants to hunt with a bow and muzzle loader he has to make a request through his probation officer before hunting.
8:24 AM · Jul 21, 2022

The attorney also asked if Morphew, "an avid hunter," could use a hunting rifle and archery equipment for hunting, Scharf said. The judge reportedly said Morphew would now have to request to use a bow and muzzle-loader each time he wants to go hunting.

[Under a deferred sentence, I recall IE pushing the envelope to even suggest BM could use a hunting rifle which the Judge denied and further instructed BM he has to clear it with his PO before he can hunt. MOO].

IE just adding irrelevant stuff into this statement to make BM look innocent and stir up the media.

Of course law enforcement focused on one person because thats where the suspicious events/activity lead too.

I don’t see anywhere in this statement where she is PLEADING and BEGGING for anyone to come forward with answers.

IMO..her statements are going to come back and bite her in the 🤬🤬🤬.
