Yes, I did read about the things BM supposedly described what he did dispose of, but I suspect there were other things that he did not reveal. Do you know of what those items might be?
  • Brown bath towel, damp,(1) - MAYBE
  • Swim suit, female, actually worn during loving/"drunk eyed" selfie shot taken for/sent to barry'sbetter - LIKELY
  • Mini [ram's head, was it?] spy camera - ASSUREDLY - [oops!...excpt for that dingdong manual!]
  • All matter of matters used to clean and dress 'tree branch wounds' - ABSOLUTELY
  • Wedding band + CZ?marrymeforever vulgaring - A$$UREDLY - not for disposal but for eventual disposition...

  • {Anyone else to chime in?}
  • {ditto?}

As I recall, her bikini was hanging in her closet.

Which tells me that she changed out of it.

Based on the state of Barry's garage and truck, I'm not certain he knows how to operate a hanger.

Uhmmm...I have to think about this for a bit. My memory isn't what it used to be. One thing he disposed of was the container that held a tree at one time and a burlap bag. What was he doing with that, and why did he have to get rid of it? Could Suzanne be planted underneath a tree? There was talk about that a long time ago, but nothing ever came of it. I'm thinking that every single thing he got rid of had something to do with Suzanne's death. Just makes sense, to me anyway.

But...
Have we forgotten? Barry was a clutterophobe <bm>:p!

...And whoa!
Those staccato openings and closings of his truck doors during the early hours of Mother's Day 2020 ? ?

Well, what else was he to do? He had no choice but to do a walk-thru the now-his-solely-owned house, picking-up and carrying in his hands/arms all sorts of stuff,
moving back and forth to his truck,
consolidating these armsful in waiting sacks/bags.
Open a shut door; close that open door. Repeat as needed...Definitely not gonna' bag stuff inside as I move, search and select. Could be "messy", clue-wise.
Surely, a Grandmaster move, as well! These jumble-sacks will be much quicker [a word, Barry ?] to disperse, and likely impossible for rubes to recover and re-assimilate in a dangerous way...

Query: Any means of recovering data re. electric service meter rate-of-use @ PP during the hours of darkness over 19-20 May 2020?
Wouldn''t badsanta Bar had to have had the place lit up like a Christmas Tree for any clean-out?
And prior nighttime run-up usage rate(s) would be right there to compare  ...oops! Have I just thrown away my Knight. Ding-it!
RSBM
Definitely clean out and to load the truck up with stuff he used in the murder unless he had night time goggles. Nah, he used the lights in the house because, after all, he had a concrete alibi. Right?!

Not unless your nose, hair, eyes and height are similar to Suzanne :)
Are you sure? If Ms. Eytan puts the finger on you, you're done. Might be temporary, but she's good at what she does as a defense attorney, right or wrong.

She could have changed into her biking clothes, and because he was caught on camera at the hotel carrying teal and black clothing, it makes me think he stripped her of her clothing and any jewelry she might have been wearing. Whatever he did with her, she is naked of everything.

Operate a hanger, pffft. Never. :D

Interesting that LE can keep property indefinately - is that what the prosecution is saying? Is the prosecution saying that ALL of the property is linked or may be linked to the crime? From a legal perpective, I find it interesting that the state can do this - should the state not be put to proof that it needs to keep the evidence, not the defendant to prove that he/she needs the property returned?
The case was dismissed with investigation still open. Def. would like to pretend exoneration, but it’s not.

Question:
Have we ever read/heard of BM having a GoPro camera?
He seems like the type who would want to film himself in hunting action.

Good evening, Megnut!

  • But was it not merely a bikini hanging there in the closet? *
  • And IIRC, was there not shortly thereafter some discussion that it was not possible from the LPoL selfie to be certain what style/color/etc. swimsuit Suzanne was wearing at the time?
  • And - interestingly imo & IIRC, when requested by LE to produce "something of SM's" for the scent-tracking canine, Barry himself [!o_O!] selected the bikini to which you refer and offered it to them. LE accepted the item, and it was used by the tracker dog's owner/volunteer around the bike recovery and nearby stream areas shortly thereafter...w/ zero "hits", not even on the bike seat. pardon me, please Could be wrong about that, however.
* Now I don't have to be in the Morphew pool to be "out of my depth" dear members, but...
  • who puts a swimsuit you've been wearing for some length of time on your lotioned, bronzing body, front & center on a hangar in one's wide-open wardrobe, even, IIRC, s/wardrobe may in practice be part of your unshared bedroom. IMCCO, not the Suzanne most of us have convinced ourselves we've come to know !!
  • And Yes. IMO, correct again, Megnut! 'Hangar-challenged' would be the conservative assessment...which makes me theorize that the front & center bikini in question was found by Barry in the bath/shower room, where it had dried on that very hanger, having been washed by Suzanne days before. He likely saw no possible danger to himself - so cunning, as we know - as well as, having been - assiduously as was her wont - washed sometime before, it would likely prove of little use to LE or the tracker dog. So he moved it from where he found it to the wardrobe himself.
Aside?: IMO, there was little to no chance Barry was not going to visit his vengeance on whatever flirty-time, unfaithful, 'ballsy' swimsuit Suzanne wore while he secretly watched and listened to her. No way. He did something vicious to it I should imagine.

{NOMB, but playing-off your clever moniker, has anyone tried the analogous but inverted "Fragrans Myristica" on you?
You are entitled to an arm punch if they do, and you object...;)}

There is no statue of limitations on murder. As long as it's an open case being investigated and BM remains the only suspect, how would that apply?
On the civil suit I believe there is a time limit to file.

Why did he get rid of the cheap plastic shrub pot and burlap? Because they were in his truck and have one time use for whatever shrub or small tree that was in it.

All speculative....

Suzanne was not sunbathing for Barry.

She was sunbathing for herself... or for JL....

It was probably very warm in the direct sun, sheltered from any breeze. Surely JL could help secure the timeline....

I think Suzanne only sunned briefly and then hung up her bikini, perhaps hoping to sun again on Sunday, the Sunday she never saw.

I believe that Barry directed LE to a pair of worn bike shorts in Suzanne's closet.

I think Barry saw Suzanne in her bikini while he was, ahem, searching for the decadent turkey carcass OR courtesy only of trail cams focused on, my bet, the back door/hot tub.

Here's a question for Barry: Barry, if you didn't actually have any veggie soup with Suzanne on Saturday and we know you didn't, and her bikini was hung in her closet when you arrived home at 2:43pm, how'd you know she had been sunbathing?

Please answer without maligning any animals, Barry. Open blue book, you may begin.

Barry sure didn't like that last photo of Suzanne.

I wonder why. (No, I don't. )

Just last night, down here in Sydney Australia, I watched the TV show "Death in Paradise". The plot centred on a man being killed by being stabbed in the back with a poisoned dart - a dart which normally was fired by a gun to tranquillize animals. Given that this show is filmed in the Caribbean, I would think that it may also be shown in the USA? So I am wondering - perhaps Barry saw this show before Suzanne dissppeared? And it gave him an idea?

I need some advice here, and apologize if this (total) hypo has previously been put to rest.
Kindly, as is our collective wont, indulge me .
& TIA
----------------------

Indeed, would His Adroit Cunningness had to have driven anywhere...? ! ?...should he merely have jacked-up either or both sets of drive wheels above ground level and, there and then, "headed" out?
----------------------

"Yeah! That's it, fersure!
"I'll just fire-up 'Ol' Thundrbutt', my signature noisy-fjord, w/her wheels-in-the-wells so-to-say, right in my own driveway, and then really play with these telewhatsit rubes: braking, turning, signaling, maneuvering, on-road/off-road, two-wheel/all wheel drives, doors/windows/tailgate, the 'full monty' ... all while actually sitting right here!

"Yeah! About fourteen miles total should be enuff. And I can use the time during this cunning "trip" to seven mile distant Mt.Tarh, [ turn-around-right-here! ], finishing some stuff I still have to wrap-up here...oh. Better be sure the fireplace is cold...

"This will be - - correction: no! - - is rich, right now! Very!
"Now let me get that indispensable purse of mine - together with mybutt - started-up* straight away."

  • And now, by leave of many I pray, comes this writer to edit and amend in part his prior submission, supra., with an eye to making it less ponderous and more comprehensible:

I wonder if LE ever pulled records for the Antlers hotel for Valentine's Day, 2020.

Maybe when Barry said he met SD at a dumpster he didn't mean which year.

Exactly!! Most trees and shrubs have a sticker on the pot identifying the plant. No way BM wanted anyone to know what variety of tree or shrub he planted after he “planted” his “angel.” JMHO

Is this explanation BM gave to Law Enforcement?

I would have kind of expected him to give some detail as to what he threw away - especially large items like that.

They aren’t that big and nursery pots are pretty flimsy…thin enough to cut off with a pocket knife. A family member is in he tree and shrub business so I know what he tossed just not which size. They don’t really have a second useful life. It must have had something on top of it or it could have easily flown out of the truck.
