Okay,
@fcavanaugh. I’ll try again to respond to your thoughts with some of my own.
I said I fell on the Friday side of the fence but I forgot to mention that my coattail got caught up on a picket and I’m kinda just dangling here.
Suppose BM hurt SM quite badly during the bad Friday night fight. He knew he was in big trouble if he took her to the hospital. He would be arrested and SM would divorce him for sure.
Suppose he did nothing to help her all night. That was why he was such such a wreck on Saturday morning. He was trying to decide what to do. He left the job site and went home where he found she had died or he went home and finished her off. (Sorry to be so blunt.).
He spent the rest of the day as we discussed.
Going back to the beach area at the Salida job site. If in fact BM was attempting to or had actually buried SM there, I don’t think he would remove her from there because he knew he was seen or heard by a neighbor when she turned her light on. That beach area has been niggling at me since I found out he worked there Friday night and that he had MG rake it out on Saturday morning. If SM wasn’t placed there, I think evidence might have been. I have asked before and I have searched through the photos of the 3 day search at the slab, but I cannot confirm that LE searched down by the beach area. All the photos I have seen show the areas that were cut from the slab and from several areas adjacent to the slab. I wish I knew for certain that they also searched the beach area.
LE must have been very interested to learn that BM was responsible for prepping the area for the concrete pour which I believe took place on 5/11, the day after SM disappeared. That together with the reports of machinery running late at night was probably enough pc for the search warrant.
As far as moving her body if she had been stashed elsewhere, it is true he did a lot of driving back and forth between CO and IN. CM said he sold the black RR to a friend in IN. He also purchased a truck there that he drove back. Who’s to say he didn’t have SM’s body tucked away in a nice big cooler somewhere and put it in the back of the RR so he could dispose of it somewhere in IN or anywhere along the way. Was it CM who also said he has a second Bobcat in IN?
Finally, regarding 24\7 surveillance, it takes a lot of manpower and it is very difficult especially if you are trying to follow someone from one state to another. CCSO has limited resources and while they have been assisted by the FBI and CBI, I’m not sure they could do a 24\7 surveillance over any length of time. We know BM snuck off by himself on Tuesday, just 2 days after SM went missing, to rifle through the trash at the Poncha Market. That was when AM and several IN friends were in town. I wonder how many other nights did he sneak away in those first days and weeks?
