What bothers me is what would Barry have done if there hadn't been a call forcing him to return to Salida. He hadn't ordered material needed to do job. He allegedly left early enough to be at worksite early enough to have started working. He accomplished very little and left his workers without proper equipment. This scene only makes sense since he was called away and could claim he couldn't do anything.

Skip to 22:40 to watch the info regarding BM's truck EVI data.
Thank you @TKG Well, that was a mouthful of very good clues. Barry’s truck gps and EVI didn’t add up according to CBI. That means it took Barry longer to get from point A to point B than it should have on his way to Broomfield, pulling the bob cat. BM could have pulled down a side rode in the wee morning hours, unloaded the bobcat with SM in a cooler and buried her. Pray she is eventually found!
Hope you eat cold beans tonight Inmate Morphew!
EBM to add MOO

He had originally said he was doing prep work for his crew on Sunday. If the girls didn’t come home, I guess he would have disassembled the wall with his bobcat, ordered block on Monday and stalled. He knew they would be coming home, knew the house would be empty, and maybe expected them to call when they got there, asking where Mom was. I guess we will find out shortly what he was doing all day Sunday.

Always excellent posts @OldCop. You really add valid points to the discussion. Every statement seems very plausible. I’ve wondered what in the world Barry would be doing at the job site Friday night, working only a half day Saturday. I also agree the reason to mention SM to Morgan was to make her seem very much alive. Wonder if Saturday was the day Barry bought the “large amount” of chlorine Chris McDonough referenced. CM said he had verified the purchase with the store in Salida. And we wait....
MOO
BBM: Did Chris see the receipt for it from the stores computer records? The reason I ask is because, the day he bought it would be important and evidently Chris did not mention it.

A nice, new, fresh, thread to discuss, (hopefully), the aa which may be released
tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Cross your fingers that a publicity-glutton attorney doesn't zoom in from out of town!

Chris just stated he had verified the purchase by BM at the store. I’m sure he knows the date of the purchase, but he didn’t say what the date was. I think if the purchase is important, it coincides with SMs disappearance. All just MOO.

I want to send a big hug out to our group. Reading the AA is not going to be an easy thing. Like Gannon Stauch’s case I feel this is going to be gruesome and heartbreaking even as a no-body case.

I agree. He’s not going to give details like that since it’s still an active investigation.

If he has retained new counsel it will be continued be sealed until new attorney has read it.

IMHO MOO IMHO MOO IMHO MOO:

The following is mere personal speculation:

I would bet that as zero-hour for the AA release approaches, BM is begging his attys to oppose release of the AA - "because then, everyone will know!"

"Well, Barry, give us something to tell the judge why not to release it"

"You think of something, you're the lawyer!"

"We'll need some good grounds for objecting to release.

"I don't know what this is all about - Spezee is framing me!"

"Barry, we can't say that, we'll never work in this town again! You gotta give us something to say!"

"Its a frame job, I tell ya!"

Only an hour to go, folks! Anyone out there sleeping?

I'm lucky, just woke up here, so an easy wait, unlike some of you sleepyheads, waiting

I concur, they do ROCK!! They do not make enough money for all they do...I have the UTMOST respect for LE!

Atty are used to know-it-all clients. The attys assigned to BM are reaping millions in free advertising.

IHMO, the attys won't quit due to obnoxiousness - only if the evidence is overwhelming and the defendant absolutely refuses to cop a plea.

BTW, what does SMH stand for?

Smacking my head ? I think, lol..:D

Well, the judge gave them until today, June 13, to object to the release of the arrest affidavit. It is 4:51 pm in Colorado. Therefore, it would seem that if BM doesn't object in 10 minutes, the AA will be made public at least tomorrow morning!

The court order from June 6:

Anticipating requests from the media and the public to unseal and release the affidavit, the Court requested that each side give their position on the issue. The prosecution did not object to unsealing the affidavit. Defense counsel requested time to read and review the affidavit before stating their position. This was a reasonable request considering the length of the affidavit.

Therefore, the Court gave defense counsel seven days from today to note their position regarding unsealing the affidavit. If defense counsel objects, the matter will be set for a hearing as soon as practicable.
