I myself think that this is a weak argument. There are so many people who don't follow true crime and wouldn't read the AA--my husband included.

JMO.

I agree that they wouldn’t read it now, but who’s to say at least one juror won’t be googling about the case and stumble upon it? (Even tho they’d probably be instructed ya know, not to..)

edit because my comment makes no sense. Please disregard. Sorry!

I figured that it was a long document because it was given to the defense on a thumb drive (USB).

I am kind of glad to see that the defense filed a motion to keep it concealed. That must mean that there are damning details in this document that Barry doesn't want the public, his friends or family to read.

Can a journalist also file a motion to have the AA released?

JMO.
In the Stauch case the Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition filed a Motion to Unseal on behalf of many media outlets.

I think its fair to say if the AA did not contain evidence damming to Barry and demonstrating his guilt, he would not oppose its release, Q.E.D.!

Must wait for the recap, I can't get the audio to work. (EU stuff, maybe?)

I had audio issues as well on my iPad. I played with the settings for a good long while (I figured it was something I did while making sure my own audio and video were off), I finally dialed in for the audio. Super easy and I think I will do that for future meetings.

<modsnip- quoted post removed) But I don’t think it’s his first crime though. I personally think he’s committed various financial crimes looking at the man’s ethics. The Friday big argument was over or about something, could it have been something BM wanted to do regarding the upcoming sale of the home, like raise the price substantially right before the upcoming closing ? Just thinking out loud. MOO

I agree a blue collar worker committing white collar crimes

For convenience of those that are on phones or find difficult to download, here is screenshot of "the bottom line" re AA

1. Any party in opposition to the Motion has until Thursday, May 27 2021, to file a response to the motion.
2. Until the Court resolves the Motion, the arrest affidavit, the Motion and any Response to the Motion are to remain inaccessible to the Public

Dixiegirl1035, thanks for posting those details. I never could open those "court.state.co.us" files, even all through the Watts case. No matter what browser I use. Thanks to all for posting screen shots from that site.

I’m disappointed we’re not getting the AA but at least I’ll get a few things done today. We’ll see it eventually.

The judge had already set a court date for May 27. Iirc
I knew he had that already scheduled but was hoping he would set an earlier hearing for arguments on the AA

I’ll watch the MK live stream then do my errands.
