Excellent post I didn’t see yesterday. The “Sunday Broomfield job” was a total alibi and you laid out very valid points showing that.
1) BM had not ordered material
2) BM did not bring right tools
3) Left early, had been there all day but only did about 30 min of work according to MG
4) No work permit according to Lauren Scharf
BREAKING: Missing Suzanne Morphew husband Barry Morphew’s ‘alibi’ questioned as new details surface about landscaping job Mother’s Day weekend [VIDEO]
This is an aside, but in that article you posted I noticed and it reminded me. That photograph of SM in her blue helmet. She has a bluetooth earpiece/microphone. I wonder if that was found at the house. If she went out riding on Mother's Day and the girls were on the road with BM out of town, I'd have expected her to wear it in case they called. I'm a mom and I'd want to be reachable under those conditions.

ETA: So, if her phone disappeared and the earpiece/microphone were still at home, that'd be weird.

Is it possible that Barry has convinced his girls that their mother abandoned him and them? Ran off with someone? And set him up in the process? Would they really believe that? Their loyalty has me baffled. MOO.
I am wondering if Dad was the one throwing money and gifts at the girls---while complaining to them about their mother, claiming she is stingy and didn't want to buy them new cars or give them tuition and rent money, etc...that could buy him some loyalty

IIRC He is 4 years older than Suzamne so maybe he is in the 1990 or 1991 class?

MissTilly has searched the 90s, with no luck getting a result when searching his name. Plus, the engagement announcement listed both SM and BM as graduating in 1994, iirc. I was going to search older years since he is older than SM, but MissTilly seems to have that covered.

It’s interesting to me, perhaps a little weird that there is no mention of him anywhere.

Yes, I’m aware BM is 4 years older than SM. The 90’s were searched, nothing shows up under Morphew/BM. See posts upthread by @MissTilly and @LaineyJ.

I don't know if we'll ever know exactly what the breakdown is unless the SW's themselves are released, but we could likely guess at what many were from the details on the AA.

In the Jennifer Dulos case, it was very interesting to see the SW's themselves as reading from oldest to more recent, you could see the progression of what investigators believed they were learning from the evidence they'd gathered and evaluated so far and by "reading through the lines" the development of possible "theories" about what happened.

For those reasons, I can see why LE and the DA would likely prefer the SW's themselves not be released; however, since they are released to the defense, that opens the possibility that that defense attorney releases selectively as it serves his own side and arguments he wishes to make against selected evidence.

Agree in the individual search warrants. Sometimes one can figure them out by the evidence presented. Will be interesting.

Agree. I think Suzanne always took her phone while riding. SM would have made herself available for phone calls w/the daughters if she had been alive on Sunday, May 10. I think we’ll find her phone last pinged in the area of the home. MOO

I can certainly see that happening. Undermining Suzanne and spoiling them with expensive things.

I have had the eyelid surgery. The awful thing.....you have to do it while AWAKE and sitting up in a weird kind of surgery chair. IIRC they put you to sleep only for a few minutes while they give you the local anaesthetic. I didn't feel a thing except maybe a little tug here and there. There were no bandages. I had to go to bed for a couple of days, but not because I was required to.
I wasn't permitted to do anything strenuous for maybe a couple of weeks. BM should not have been lifting weights or doing construction work during this time.
BM has the eyelid surgery scars. Just like mine. You can see the thin scar on his eyelid next to the socket.
To be fair, I have eyelids which can look perfect and 2 hours later when I ate something they are filled with fluid. So if you compare pictures of me, on one I look like I’m in urgent need of surgery while on another picture I look like I already had one. I’m sure I’m not alone with this phenomenon and BM could just have the same problem.
I find the pictures are not really good quality to be sure we are seeing the result of a surgery and scars or just shadows.

In the grand scheme of things I don’t think this even matters.

Interesting, maybe he did not know the girls were going to be late, and they were supposed to be the ones to find her missing in the morning or at noon.

IMO, that is exactly what was supposed to happen. And it is a hideous thing for a father to do to his children.

ETA: I think he wanted them to show up, be unable to locate her, populate the place with lots of others trying to figure out where she might be and to console the girls, have hysteria build, and then LE be called.

Just like with Jon Benet Ramsey, where the crime scene was quickly contaminated and for hours.

You are so right.
Of course.
No mom is not going to take her phone with her at all times while kids away, on road, and most Moms are obsessively tracking their children minute by minute with some form of locator.

Submitting SM's Ballot?
So totally stupid, it is difficult to comprehend. WHAT could he possibly have been thinking?!?
edited for grammar
@Rolo Well, going by his stmt quoted in voter fraud AA, (paraphrasing >) many other ppl are cheating, so why not?

Did he use this logic in other facets of his life?

Generally photos seemed to have the persons name underneath them, from what I saw. Or at the least it would be first initial and last name. It appears that if you are named anywhere in the book, searching your name would produce a result. I did have a similar idea though, and I think I checked the baseball teams from 1989-1994 just incase, but it listed those players names in the team photos and BM was not there. I just thought maybe he’d have played there.

I also searched SM’s name and I believe she only came up in 1994 with her senior photo. However, I may have missed searching her for one of the years, I was flying through them in hopes I’d find something.

I think that’s exactly what was supposed to happen in “Barry’s deranged alibi scenario played out in his head.” The girls were supposed to discover Suzanne “missing”. Yes, a horrible thing to do to his daughters, but let’s face it. He’s just murdered their mother, so they’re never a high priority on his list, really! MOO

Yes that’s true about photos, but from my research and as others have posted, there is ZERO information coming up in Purdue searches for Morphew/BM.
I focused on doing searches for info about BM being a Purdue graduate as during my career, I have worked in HR management and though I no longer work in the HR field, am responsible in my current position for interviewing and make hiring decisions and I cannot tell you the amount of applicants who’ve padded their resumes/lied about having attended college/obtained college degree, easily caught out when our team of administrative assistants do the research to verify applicant’s references, educational backgrounds etc.
It’s not as uncommon as some people may think to lie about one’s education on paper, or otherwise.
Perhaps I’m more a stickler than most because of what I do for a living and to date, I personally, haven’t seen enough verifiable proof that BM graduated from Purdue University.
He may have graduated from Purdue under an alias for all I know (insert sarcasm), he may not have graduated.
It’s MOO and until it can be verified as factual,
I remain skeptical, and moving on from the discussion now lol.

BBM: I think getting one million for his business in Indiana is living up to your expectations.

Someone posted, I believe yesterday, he got one mil for his business. Wish I had time to look it up, but I'm busy today.

It was @Hoosierfan72 if I remember correctly. His wife was friends with SM.

Exactly, if he waited any longer "they" wouldn't have found the bike in the ravine. The police had to be called and arrive before the sun went down! ETA:
Otherwise the bike alibi would be out the window, how could he claim she went on a bogus bike ride?

BBM Well, I’ve gone over the last 46 pages posted yesterday and can’t find the post regarding BM selling his business for a million dollars. But I understand you’re busy.
I’ll keep searching. :) MOO
