I have been in vacation for two weeks and in excited that I have almost an entire thread to read. I am anxiously waiting for that AA to be released. I suspect their kids never seen their parents fight because Suzanne buffered them from that. It's all over for Barry once that AA comes out

The only new information is a surprise hearing at 10 am (local) this Thursday.

We don’t know for sure what it will entail, but hopefully it doesn’t result in a delay to the preliminary hearing.

Not a single article has been written by anyone in the media, which is frustrating.

Wow, over 12 hours and nothing new or even a comment. Wouldn't you know it's during my down time at work. Where is everyone? Discussing another case maybe?

I worry about the girls ever believing their dad killed their mom and I don’t think they will read the AA. I lost my dad when I was 25 so I was about the age of the oldest and my world revolved around my dad. He was absolutely my hero and the most important person in my life. I would have done anything for him and when he got sick my world crashed. I’m sure if anyone had told me anything negative about him I wouldn’t have believed it. After all he is my dad and no one knows him like I do, right? Now 26 years later I realize we don’t always know people the way we think we do especially our parents.

I wish I were tech savvy about cell phones. Suzanne's is intriguing. While the content, particularly the texting with her sister, is going to be quite revealing; as will be the back and forth with the friend....what happened with Suzanne's cellphone after that on Saturday, then Sunday? Can it be determined if the phone was deactivated as opposed to the battery draining, for instance (and when)? The ping data is key, of course. How about pattern of use changing? If Suzanne were at home Saturday night, and sleeping Sunday morning, as Barry would have us believe....then there should be no unusual or changing patterns of use on Suzanne's cell phone on Saturday evening or Sunday morning, imo. I am guessing that if Barry was "smart enough" to manipulate Suzanne's cellphone in order to deflect and cover up...then that manipulation itself may be detectable. I know LE has many tricks of the trade about this (forensic data) which I am clueless about...but it is a very interesting aspect.

Fortunately for Suzanne, I do believe the digital forensics will become a damning story along the timeline to kill Suzanne.

For one, I happen to believe that not unlike when Sherry Panini went missing, Suzanne's cell phone is indeed an item recovered as evidence, along with her favorite biking helmet and at least one other planted piece of evidence by BM pointing toward a failed bike riding trap. I think he wrote the planted evidence on a receipt at Poncha Market. He surely didn't describe Suzanne.

I believe it was TN who stuttered and couldn't quite state, when asked, who had been residing at Puma Path lodge, especially for those months leading up to that fateful Mother's Day weekend 2020. We may learn an explanation for this hesitancy in the Arrest Affidavit Report. And, so much more.

Sorry for your loss, @Melsworld. Losing a parent only eases with time, I’ve found. But wanting to be with them never ceases. What has happened to Suzanne will have a very huge negative impact on both daughters for the rest of their lives. Now, if BM is convicted, whether they accept what he did or not, he will be out of their daily lives effectively too. They whole world has crashed, but they aren’t aware how badly yet. My heart hurts for both of them. Unimaginable pain for them bc someone apparently didn’t want to get a divorce. moo.

The bigger tragedy about the daughters for me than the loss of Dad is the manufactured alienation(by dad) from the family who really cares for them...the Moormans. If one thing comes of this...I would hope it is the reconciation and healing for all of them; that they can provide to each other.

@DeDee sbm bbm Thanks for your post. Yes, iirc, it was BM's nephew TN who hesitated about that.

And he referred to unnamed BM as "the husband."
somewhat O/T, but relevant re language usage:
IRL after hearing a man say, I took "the wife" out to dinner last night, or I'm taking "the wife" to Bermuda for vacation, I'm tempted to ask ---
Whose wife did you take? Your best friend's wife, neighbor's wife, colleague's wife? Oh, yours, I was not sure.

Thank you @Error505. You're right it's always there and the one thing that helped me through losing my dad was having my mom. I had her another 15 years and then I had her 3 sisters that have been there all my life. Like Scooter98 said they are alienated from their mom's family and that's such an unnecessary tragedy. I believe in time they will make peace with the Moorman's. I do hope so.

It really angers me at the lives he determined he had the power to control without EVER considering how murdering Suzanne would affect anyone other than himself.

It was suggested above that the girls may not believe Mom was killed. Whatever, but not killed. This sounds particularly reasonable in view of Judge Murphy's determination to keep the AA suppressed as long as possible.

It is infuriating. But people like that ALWAYS justify their actions. I'm sure BM had it all worked out in his pea-sized brain that everyone would be better off after his despicable acts. That's what narcissists do - they justify everything.

And anyway, it's never his fault. "Oh, Suzanne ..."

It is right and proper to be angry at the results of his cunning ways and insurmountable greed. The thing with Mothers is that - you don't mess with our children.

I do believe with my whole heart things may be revealed that may not always be nice about Suzanne bc we're all humans, living in a damaged world. jmho

If Barry Morphew gets into court wearing a fancy suit and bamboozles the Jury into a flurry of pacing constituents, then may be the time to release the kracken. I so wish I lived in the Rockies at times like these. Suzanne's is a crime scene I may visit one day soon, after the AAs released. It's a gorgeous area of Colorado and some of the best justice is going to come from Chaffee County voters becoming jurors.

We should all attend the first day of his trial for a live cctv in court, in honor of Suzanne Moorman Morphew. It was Suzanne but it could have been me once. Along with my one daughter, H. As I was staring at death, I escaped, narrowly. It could happen to others by others but nobody knows why so don't bother asking the question.

I don’t think she can tell me for some reason, as if she hasn’t responded yet, then I don’t expect her to (she’s usually very fast).

My “sense” that this has to do with evidence being turned over in a timely manner, is not a wild guess on my part.

I think that’s what this is going to be about, but I do find it interesting that Lauren won’t confirm it.
The only time LS has not responded to DM questions was when she suddenly was not covering the case or attending the search.

I agree, she is normally quick to respond. With that, I think she's telling us by saying nothing. T minus 2 days...

I’m incredibly frustrated with the media in this case, as if Lauren isn’t covering something then it doesn’t get covered (unless it’s a big event).

Lauren almost certainly knows what this hearing is about (I told her, and the DA would have been able to verify), but hasn’t so much as Tweeted.

I don’t get it.

MassGuy, I agree. Truth is, not much in this world is making sense anymore.

Oh, we have seen LS shine and develop her career during the year of reporting on this case. She's had excellent segments on behalf of exposing truth and reporting on Suzanne and we're thankful. She's sharp is the reason why Barry's strat must avoid, then devoid her. Not happening to keeping it classy Lauren tho.

I do hope she's able to dig up a story to update us. Reporting on the Barry Morphew trial of the century will be so good for LS exposure. I see integrity and credibility in her reporting. BM knows they cannot become friends; allies with LS bc of truth found in her reporting.

July 22 is in 2 days. Thursday, July 22 hearing. Live. Who's tossing links into the thread for viewing Thursday's hearing in Chaffee County?

In my opinion only those kids never seen there parents fight so their outlook is their good strong dad. Their also victims of his abuse and manipulation all of them only bonded by trauma. I suspect Suzanne and him faught in private. I do firmly believe when this aa comes out will blow the top off that there are two of them and I highly suspect at least one of them is gonna turn he knows it too that's why he doesn't want this aa out. Remember his first court appearance when he actually asked if he could wear regular clothes like he hadn't been arrested? I bet he is obessing over that AA figuring out what he will tell his daughters. He ruined 3 lives that day he should have just killed himself did everyone a favor

I’m a bit surprised we haven’t seen an EMC order for this. Maybe we’ll get one tomorrow, and the reporting will finally start.

Don’t worry about links, if this is broadcast on WebEx (like I expect), then you won’t be able to miss it. We’ll all be here for it.
