I absolutely agree, they have his whereabouts down to the last minute of May 8, 9, & 10th I'd bet. No way would they went ahead with a no body case unless they did.

According to page 41 in the arrest affidavit, Walker wrote, Barry Morphew's bobcat doesn't appear to be connected to Suzanne's disappearance.

There were marriage problems, sure.
BM constantly moved money/houses.
He could use an affair in divorce against her.
She wanted to protect/keep her assets.

I'm a little shaken by the news of the affair, though I completely understand WHY! But I think the prosecution still has strong evidence pointing to Barry ... motive & opportunity.

This is all just messed up so far. SM having affair. Then she gets spy pen because she suspects BM having affair?

I’m thinking we are going to learn a lot more about this unhappy marriage. We all have to dial back our fantasy version of Suzanne and remember that she was just human, with faults, like all of us. That doesn’t give Barry the right to murder her. It’s the prosecution’s job to show that he did. Maybe Suzanne was a terrible judge of character, maybe she wasn’t deserving of the pedestal we put her on. Whatever. As long as they can prove that Barry did this, this is no different than complaining about a rape victim’s choice of clothing.

Is it crystal clear that the 2 year long affair was still ongoing at the time of Suzanne's murder? I'm not sure from the tweets I've read if it could have been over, but I could have missed a definitive statement.

Exactly and I suspect he likely does because they learned of this in Nov 2020 and here we are Barry is charged.. so they had to have easily been able to dismiss him being involved, IMO.

Like it or not, if there’s no evidence of BM having an affair, and solid evidence that Suzanne was having an affair, this, along with the daughters continued support of their dad in the court room, will garner some sympathy for BM by some jurors.

I suspected E&N were going to pull something like this after twice motioning for "equal time" during the PH. This is clearly to get out front with their own story. They want a plausible reason for doubt to be the headliner. That was their strategy very early!
