I hope they get to the attempting to influence a public servant charges. That may not be until the next set of hearings?

I'm curious about the State's reaction to everything that was going on. How did the State attorneys seem when this inflammatory information was coming out? Did they seem worried, like the expected it, calm, nervous?

Thank you so much for sharing with us!

A lot of whispering to each other. DA stepped out of courtroom several times. Maybe 3 or so.

I could agree with all you said except that Suzanne did not find happiness. She found death instead. And I do not believe for one moment JL would have left his life, his wife, and his kids for her. He even hid while authorities really needed to find him. Suzanne’s life was sad and tragic but she was not living some romantic dream.
She didn't find death. Death in the form of her abuser found her.

Barry told authorities, “There’s not a more special, wonderful person in the world.” He said they did have “spats” about him working too much and he wanted her off a certain medication she was taking, but “it wasn’t like they didn’t make up,” Nielsen said.

Barry did not protest when his house became a crime scene, and his truck was picked up. He mentioned to deputies that Suzanne had been cleaning because the daughters’ friend was visiting, and Suzanne had changed the bed sheets for the friend.

In July 2020, Colorado Bureau of Investigation detectives began working again in and around the Morphew home. This search was extensive, with numerous items seized and hundreds of photos taken, Nielsen said. Blood was found on a tampon, but nowhere else in the home.

Nielsen read a section of Barry’s arrest affidavit on the prosecution’s theory, which included data from Barry’s Ford 350 truck. The affidavit reads, as read by Nielsen: From 2:47 p.m. May 9 until 5:37 a.m. May 10, he took steps to dispose of evidence of Suzanne’s disappearance and death.

Lauren Scharf@LaurenScharfTV
THE LAST COMMUNICATION FROM SUZANNE was at 14:11 on May 9 between her and Jeff Libler on Linked In.

At the end of his testimony, Stanley asked Walker to confirm Barry claimed he left his home for Broomfield at 5 a.m. on May 10. Walker said this was true. Stanley also confirmed through him that the data in Barry’s truck showed “door activity” at 3:26 a.m.

So ultimately Suzanne lost her life May 9th between 2:11 pm and 2:47 PM? Is that what we can conclude?

Food for thought:

In the normal course of events, it sounds like Suzanne used her phone a lot, like most of us.

Safe to say her phone didn't get plugged in to charge that Saturday. That being the case, how long until her battery drained? 4:23 am....

Without triangulation, I imagine they could only say something like 'consistent with being at home'.... I'm sure we'll here more but possibly Barry chucked it. Into the water. And being that HE CAN'T THROW, it did a Tecia and missed the water. Eventually the phone powered down, somewhere in the delta of Maysville, Salida and Poncha Springs... where it remains, undiscovered. The bike was probably supposed to land in the water too.

If Suzanne got in the truck with him, we have to wonder if it was willingly or forcibly. Once inside, he may have wrested her phone from her and pitched it out the window --

Till tomorrow....

Thank you @NoSI. I was going to warn others about this as I've previously watched IE stand behind her client with her hands on his shoulders while delivering her closing statement. I also observed the E&N team serving their male client water from a pitcher at the defense table (pre-bottled water days). Very nurturing, touchy. They've got this down! MOO
Do you think that influences a jury? Have to ask ...

Deputy Brown located bike
Body cams activated
No damage/scratches
No disturbance of soil, skitmarks etc.
Vegetation wS not disturbed
No sign of struggle
No blood

Something was "up" with front tire and LE moved bike with holding front tire up, brake was in locked position, and everything worked after brake was unlocked.

BM and GD had to be told "Don't touch bike with your hands please" by LE.

Suzanne Morphew’s Affair Revealed in Court in Barry Morphew Murder Case. Texts Show She Wanted to Leave ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ Husband.

“He’s not stable,” Suzanne allegedly wrote to Sheila, as described in pool notes from Denver Post reporter Shelly Bradbury. Suzanne Morphew wrote that he “wrecked” a “peaceful, fun week” she had with her daughter.

“He looks for any reason to run,” Suzanne allegedly wrote. “It can be small and he blows up and takes off.”

She appeared frustrated with her husband.

“I can’t win with him,” she allegedly wrote. “He’s too good at the manipulation. I feel stuck.”

This testimony depicted Barry Morphew as engaging in a pattern of emotional coercion against his wife. Suzanne allegedly claimed that he would not let her leave the relationship.

“I just wish he would get fed up with me and let me get out of the marriage,” she wrote Oliver, according to testimony.

He allegedly wouldn’t, even leveraging her history as a two-time cancer survivor against her.

Any avid bikers understand what the brake in the locked position means?

Last ping from SM's phone 4:23 AM on 5/10/20. Pinged off Poncha Springs tower, which is common.

4:23 AM - Let that sink in.

I feel that Lauren is a real pro to be able to keep on keeping on today after I read this...

"Barry Morphew’s sister just came up to me in the hallway and said, “Are you Lauren? Yes. You are an instrumental part in destroying our family.” She then walked away."

How did Ms Stanley appear?

Would not want to be prosecuted by her... Comes across strong, determined, self-confident, no-nonsense, cool tattoos around wrist and ankles.

I didn’t read that JL and SM dated or were boyfriend/girlfriend in high school. I was sure the report just said they knew each other.
By all accounts, Suzanne and Barry loved each other very much. But she had no idea he was a control freak or narcissistic and abusive. Of course, that killed her feelings. After fighting cancer and having two little girls, she reached out to a man she remembered and maybe dreamt that they belonged together. Woah, it’s all so sad. I wish BM would admit what he has done.

Just to clarify, there was a tweet that said in high school,he went to a party and he and SM "hooked up". It may have said she was already dating BM.

I promise the tweet exists. I will edit when I find it with the link.

Changing topics to the interactions SA Harris had with Jeff Libler. Agent says Jeff knew #SuzanneMorphew in high school and hooked up with her at some point. Says Suzanne sent him a text asking him how he was in 2018.

Just checking in to say Howdy y'all!
-- I zonked-out @ 04:30(am) here, and now it's going to take me forever to catch up!

I'm contemplating whether to read the posts in reverse, starting from last to first...?

Thanking those of you again, for posting the all tweets --
so very much appreciated!

So I can have my caramel latte now, but by the time I'm done catching up, everyone else will be asleep, and I'll be all alone! Well, except for any mates in 'Straya. Any Kiwis here?

Have there been any more shockers?

It's crazy... it happened over and over and over...

The touchy feely kind of behaviour is subtly portraying "look how lovely our poor bereaved client is, look how we are not intimidated by this man, look how much he needs our compassion".

Body language.

imo

Eytan also comforted/hugged daughter when daughter was crying during break. I do feel for the daughters. Can I post these things?
Why not...it's a first hand account, so much MSM isn't...Daily Mail say enough??

We didn’t really learn anything new about BM today; we already knew he was violent, dangerous and manipulating.

I wonder about SM though; did her friends learn anything about her? I did.

What a marriage mess. BM is controlling and abusive and SM is purposely being difficult hoping he’ll get fed up and leave? Sounds wonderful.
