Would not want to be prosecuted by her... Comes across strong, determined, self-confident, no-nonsense, cool tattoos around wrist and ankles.

Dear NoSI,

Thank you so much for your court reporting!

You are greatly appreciated! :)

The touchy feely kind of behaviour is subtly portraying "look how lovely our poor bereaved client is, look how we are not intimidated by this man, look how much he needs our compassion".

Body language.

imo
“Look how gentle he is. He wouldn’t hurt a flea.”

I feel that Lauren is a real pro to be able to keep on keeping on today after I read this...

"Barry Morphew’s sister just came up to me in the hallway and said, “Are you Lauren? Yes. You are an instrumental part in destroying our family.” She then walked away."
I watched her at 6:30 on my local newscast and she looked great. I was relieved after seeing that earlier today. She’ll be on the news again at 9:30 and at 10:00 and she might do a YouTube Live from her hotel tonight. She’s an A #1 CHAMPION!

I just love this photo of Suzanne and her girls. Life will never be the same for them.

What evidence revealed today could possibly be used to prove Barry’s guilt? The gun incident where Barry held the gun to his head shows that he’s a violent, unhinged lunatic? The cell phone times showing when Suzanne sent her last messages and then the time the cell ultimately went dark with no further activity? The fact that Suzanne wanted to end her marriage? The times during which Barry’s vehicle moved and the passenger side car door opened? Is there anything else I’ve missed that could possibly be evidence of murder? Or used in conjunction with other information that LE has yet to discuss?

I’m underwhelmed by all of the affair stuff. I suppose they are laying out the story chronologically and there’s more important evidence forthcoming. I hope.

to your first question - quite a bit, depending on who the jurors are. <modsnip>

But this is just getting started and the reason behind the prelim is not to prove guilt. But to bind over for trial - by a juror of his peers.

She is a real trooper!!! So nice and so good at her job. So lucky to have her on Suzanne's case!

Why are we obsessed about the affair? JL isn’t the problem, infidelity isn’t the problem BM killing his wife is the problem!

I am worried that when they talk about BM's destruction of evidence, he may have had unintentional help. The daughters seem to really be supporting their dad despite at least one girl knowing about the abuse and suggesting SM get a divorce and a restraining order.
Great point.
She is a force to reckon with, i am certain ...:)
please keep posting NoSi. I’m anxious to read all your notes. Thank you.

Oh... Dru Nielsen needed a sip of water during the forever crossexam of Commander Walker and BM very proactively handed her her water bottle...;)

I’ve never followed a trial this closely. I erroneously thought that a preliminary hearing would be more straightforward, like: this evidence A, B, C shows that Barry committed illegal acts D, E, F.

And if this goes to trial, we’ll find out if all 12 jurors agree with you.

Because it may add a motive. Because JL had so little integrity and character, he didn’t attempt to assist LE by providing any information that could have been helpful.

They had to explain the context for everything that came next. Unfortunately, that took an entire day.

Tomorrow should resemble what you expected.

Because this was the evidence that was introduced at the hearing today. This is the first real release of information from LE we have had in this case so people want to discuss what was released. Tomorrow if they return to BM's movements on the 9th/10th, I'm sure that will be the topic of discussion.

Wonder if they think it was 2nd degree, but the fact that he disposed of her body pushes it up to 1st degree.

The DOMESTIC VIOLENCE line that was added after he was arrested, probably bumped it back up to M1 if it was ever an M2 consideration. If it had been a "crime of passion" (M2), and there was no history of domestic violence, prosecution may have been willing to go down that road. I am not a lawyer but it makes sense in my head.

BM is a physical and emotional tyrant...to Suzanne and to his daughters as well.
The stunted mentality of a narcissist who ruins everything around him and sucks the joy out of life for all around.
What a jerk.
Suzanne was not allowed to leave. I wish someone could get those girls away from him.

Last ping from SM's phone 4:23 AM on 5/10/20. Pinged off Poncha Springs tower, which is common.

4:23 AM - Let that sink in.

Wasn’t that around the time MG said he showed up outside her house and called her?
