Strictly MOO, You might want to reserve judgement until you hear evidence of what happened. And if you’ve never been in an abusive relationship with a narcissist, it may be difficult to understand how one can horribly affect the emotions and mental health of the one they are abusing. Please keep in mind this is about DV and a murder involving DV, according to the state’s case.

Let’s hope this gets to trial. Moo.

Amen!!!
I’m glad she did confide in a few people!
Some narcissist spouses can drive an abused victim to commit suicide. You can’t fault her for finding someone to hold her up and remind her she was not the person Barry demeaned & devalued her to be.
BM really sounds like a Narc using her cancer against her..threatening suicide ...turning the daughters against her. Such narcissistic behavior.
He ended her push back alright!
The daughters...Have seen this in so many cases. IE: staircase murder. The children want desperately to not -lose- both parents by admitting one murdered the other.

MOO

Yes these are the messy bits. If Suzanne altered stories to fit a bad Barry narrative, one could question if Barry is really the tyrant she makes him out to be. Doubt the girls are going to stick up for their Mom. If Barry’s abuse took place only in the home with immediate family present, with no other corroboration, it’s an issue. I wonder what today will bring.

I hope the younger daughter might do the right thing for Suzanne. Testify for her mum, if her words might be valuable.

Hearing that she was ready to move with her mum and help make ends meet is encouraging. The fact that she discussed matters with her boyfriend indicates her level of concern/upset/stress. If anyone is an empathiser with Suzanne, it sounds as if it may be her.

My whole opinion of Suzanne has changed, and not in a good way.

For me, it made her more real to me. I never cared for this perfect person (almost nun like) that many portrayed her as over many of these threads. That's just not real life. I remember posting within two weeks of her being reported missing that I was afraid SM's identity would continue to be she was a missing wife and mom. She was both of those things, but more than that. She was her own person who had needs and wants (like many of us) and found this outlet in this boy from school, now grown adult like she was. For the record IMO, affairs seldom result in true happiness and it does leave many victims in it's path (other spouse, children, careers, etc.). I can also understand some strong feelings if someone has been through this with a cheating spouse and views SM a certain way. For me, listening to this all play out yesterday put a pit of danger in my stomach for her. IMO

RBBM. Two of the journalists who were live tweeting reported the quote as "My gang is home". I think that changes the meaning significantly. Not entirely sure the DM got the quote correct. I can definitely see someone ending a clandestine conversation with a secret lover when his family returned from an outing with the words "My gang is home".

On Friday May 9, LIbler, a married father of 6, says "my gang is home." His texts stop. Youngest Morphew daughter is sitting with her hands over her face. It's been a long day for both Suzanne and Barry's families.
In recent post, I quote LS as saying SM quit responding in the texts @ 2:11. This is from LS wrap up video last night on YT. @ 38:00 min mark. Difference of interpretation (?). Idk. We miss a lot not hearing the actual hearing, moo

E&N will be looking for female jurors who think he is handsome.
Better keep those veneers polished and those pushups need to be doubled up!

Very good point. However, my view of JL has not changed.

I haven't been able to find any quotes from LE that the brakes were locked. There was speculation about that from the beginning but I don't remember LE confirming it. In court the officer said he noticed the wheel was in an unusual position but didn't mention the brakes being jammed or locked. I suppose Barry could have manipulated the bike to make it look like the brakes had locked up, though. Imo

Well, shame on me - what I recalled to be a posted tweet with a link, turned out to be a summary of a Scott Reisch podcast with a link! dammit.
Very sorry. I hate that!
I'll report my post to have it deleted.

Interesting. . .
@ the 28:00 & 37:20 marks, they say Suzanne started mountain biking at the suggestion of JL.
About a week after his suggestion, Suzanne bought a mountain bike.

Also @ the 37:20, it says she started drinking IPA (I think?) because of him.
What is IPA?
I was thinking it was a health protein isolate drink or something, but I googled and what comes up is a type of beer - India Pale Ale.
So, that's what she means by IPA? (just wondering)

(Lauren & Sarah's vid from last night:)
IPA is ale (it is in the UK anyway). India Pale Ale.

This case gets more circumstantial by the day.

This may sound crazy, but here is a theory-What if Barry did set up the possible bike accident (or abduction) to make it look like Suzanne set up the bike accident (or abduction.) No body, right? So, that would cause reasonable doubt that he had something to do with it. He could have set it up to look like she disappeared herself. “Oh, Suzanne, what have you done?” Just a thought. JMO

I haven't followed this case in a while, but surprised to find out about the fingerprints in her car.
Dread to think how many might be found in mine, after it was serviced last week.

Thank you. I was hoping someone would do a Saturday timeline based on all the info we already knew (working with MG until 11am, seen by JP a few hours later, seen by the stove and spa owners even later that evening, etc.) so this is very helpful.

I tried to go back locate the exact event at 2:47pm but I can't seem to find what that was, or why folks are assuming the driver and passenger doors on Barry's truck opened at the same/similar times.

I'm sort of going this route. The recording on the pen about the crime story with the bike is also convenient.

You don’t think BM would’ve killed her if she left and then began a relationship? Or if she just left?

I do.

The affair didn’t cause her to be murdered. A controlling narcissist did.

But she did have happiness with that dude, no matter how fleeting it would’ve ended up being.
You misread what I said entirely. BM is guilty of domestic violence toward Suzanne. With a man like him, I believe he wasn’t going to allow her to live regardless of how perfect she was. What I said was she didn’t find happiness. Because that dude wasn’t her knight in shining armor. I think he was a married guy with six children who would have broken her heart eventually. Suzanne deserved better than him!! And when I said she got death instead of happiness that’s all on BM! Both men are jerks. She deserved better. Period.

I don't think anyone following this case from the beginning, is at all surprised to learn this is your opinion.

At the end of the day, regardless of the choices Suzanne made to try and find some happiness, she did not deserve to be murdered.

SM’s last communication -
LS wrap up on YouTube @
> 38:00 min mark
LS discusses SM’s last known communication with JL, Saturday, May 9, 2020, @ 2:11 pm - JL & SM were texting via LinkedIn, being flirty, etc. when SM just stopped responding during the conversation.

MOO Timing is about right for BM to be walking through the door to “make wife happy!

Curious, since all along we assumed the abrupt end to her online convo was with her BFF SO.
Now we learn it was with JL.

This would have been just after Puckett spotted Barry at the shop bringing in his bobcat attachment plate/thing. He seemed to recall it was around noon, 1 or 2, so the timeline seems to match up for sure.

Was the "surprise" FL visit by BM in Feb 2020 when JL met SM there? I'm wondering if SM just told her friends that BM was there when it was really JL. Did her friends actually see BM?

Hmmmm.... good question

I agree, she did not deserve to be murdered. But, in support of @brooks I think it's more than the affair that makes Suzanne unlikable.

We don't all have to agree on Suzanne's choices, but this is a VICTIM friendly site. She is dead at BM's hand according to the State of CO.

Doesn't anybody care about JL's wife?! I certainly do and I find it revolting to go after a guy who is not only married but has 6 kids. Suzanne and JL sent nude photos to each other. What a thing for the Morphew girls to hear.
The defense is trying to drive the ball into the weeds....the prosecution is trying to keep it on the fairway. We need to be mindful of that.....don't follow the defense into the weeds...hopefully the evidence presented today moves the ball to toward the flag. I quit golf....its a very frustrating game.
