Curious, since all along we assumed the abrupt end to her online convo was with her BFF SO.
Now we learn it was with JL.

This would have been just after Puckett spotted Barry at the shop bringing in his bobcat attachment plate/thing. He seemed to recall it was around noon, 1 or 2, so the timeline seems to match up for sure.

Unless I'm confused - this also sounded like an abrupt end of the conversation on HIS end (the/my gang is home), otherwise it's possible SM could have continued to chat with him. IMO

Back at Judicial facily and back in line all alone... Should be getting in again. Brought a book so a-ok with wait. :)

IPA is ale (it is in the UK anyway). India Pale Ale.
I am guessing that this is Jeff's favorite drink...and her way of identifying with him...wow....just desperation.

Doesn't anybody care about JL's wife?! I certainly do and I find it revolting to go after a guy who is not only married but has 6 kids. Suzanne and JL sent nude photos to each other. What a thing for the Morphew girls to hear.

If you've read through this thread then you'd see that many, myself included (and sadly, I've been where JL's wife is, and it's a freaking nightmare, I assure you), have expressed our sadness for the tragic number of lives trashed by this entire mess. JL's wife and kids, and Suzanne's girls as well. Regardless of the impropriety of starting up a relationship with a married man, it's important to look even closer at the circumstances that led Suzanne to make such a choice.

What led her there was the same man that controlled where she lived, the very medical treatments she needed to stay alive and healthy, what she wore, all the money, and ultimately, "allegedly" whether Suzanne lived or died.

We don't all have to agree on Suzanne's choices, but this is a VICTIM friendly site. She is dead at BM's hand according to the State of CO.

MOO
Totally agree with you. Fortunately a jury should be less judgmental.

The defense is trying to drive the ball into the weeds....the prosecution is trying to keep it on the fairway. We need to be mindful of that.....don't follow the defense into the weeds...hopefully the evidence presented today moves the ball to toward the flag. I quit golf....its a very frustrating game.
Other than the truck evidence what does the prosecution have?

Thank you so much NoSI, You must be exhausted. I felt like I'd run a marathon yesterday at the end of court just reading online.

I'll be curious to see if there is any difference in the Defense and/or BM's posturing today.

My whole opinion of Suzanne has changed, and not in a good way.
She was a victim of domestic violence. I’ll cut her some slack.

Thank you so much for your dedication. Hope today is not too exhausting for you and the prosecution provides some interesting new revelations.

I’m somewhat surprised at the number out of state trips SM made to meet up with JL. I really wouldn’t expect BM to be agreeable with that much alone travel, considering how controlling he is! Moo

That's what I was thinking, too.
And it wasn't really abrupt... as he couldn't text anymore bc his family there.

Unless she was also texting with SO, too, and never got back to her.

This is Day 2 of 4 days at a prelim. This isn't a trial.

What they do have was/is enough for a Judge to sign off on an arrest and charges of Muder 1 with no body that has BM sitting in his 'concrete' prison.

AMEN - Keep your eyes on the goal! Moo

Yup, me too. Will definitely look for that. Feel much better today as got some sleep. Yesterday at the end of the day didn't feel so great. But back to good again.

I know what a preliminary hearing is. I said a few threads back the prosecution has a pretty large mountain to climb to get BM convicted of murder one in this case. After reviewing what is out there, I think that mountain has grown. All they have is the truck evidence so far. All circumstantial.

You represent exactly the kind of juror the defense is going to look for and need. No offense...but that emotional switch that was flipped with this information is all about planting seeds of doubt from a feelings perspective.

I was thinking the same.
A friend of mine suddenly started drinking port wine, only because the guy she liked (and wasn't even dating) drank it.

I know I did similar when I was a teen. Can't think of an example as an adult, though.

It just makes my heart break for Suzanne all the more. :(
