#Barrymorphew has something in his hand. Something small, Agent Grusing couldn't decide what it was. His next action is carrying multiple items to his room. Hiking boots, a teal-covered piece of clothing, a darker black piece of clothing, and a light blue bag.

I would love to know his reaction in court right now.

I really, really hope I'm wrong, but what if he incapacitated, drove her to a steep area/cliff side and just threw her down, leaving her to die alone. No bullet left to trace back to him, injuries "naturally sustained" in the fall that can't be blamed on him plus the added cruelty of letting her die slowly out in the elements. I suspect he wanted to actually physically kill her and did so either by strangling her or shooting her, but with the tranquilizer cap found, I'm not fully committed to that theory any longer.
You would think a drug would leave traces, if her body was found in time.

When #BarryMorphew allegedly arrived at the Holiday Inn Express in Broomfield, he parked on the south side. Doors open and close again. He opened someone would come in and out so he could get a free breakfast at the hotel.
$70,000.00 in cash in a safe in his garage but he waits at the door of the HIE for someone coming or going so he can slip in and get a "free breakfast"? This guy. No words.

I am well aware of the difference, thanks but Barry didn't really have any "employees", more like day laborers IMO.
Or as he referred to them 'a bunch of meth heads'

Have you ever driven through Colorado? I’ve traveled through Salida and a couple of hours from there in all directions.

Plenty of places to hide a body.
I live in Northern Colorado and when this case first began, we traveled through Salida/Poncha Springs etc. to get down to Pagosa Springs. On the drive, I kept mentioning this case to my husband and talking about how easily a body could never be found there. It's rough, secluded, exposed to the elements and wildlife...everything you'd want in a dumpsite.

#BarryMorphew said that there were holes in the boots but the laces were good so he wanted to take them to the room and remove the laces and then trash the boots. Photos of this from the hotel surveillance video are being shown.

how did the cap end up in the dryer? Did he wash her clothes, for example?
I think the moron slipped the cap off the tranquilizer before he shot it, placed it in his pocket, and later - after he was done with all he was doing - he washed his clothes (forgetting he'd put the cap in his pocket of his pants).

I think he is full of prunes! As luck would have it, I was staying at a HIE the prior month and the free breakfast was the first thing to go once the Covid lockdowns started.

Puzzled here, why would Morphew use an expensive method to tranquilize chipmonks, he had a 22 caliber, why didn't he just shoot them? What did he do to them after they were tranquilized? Why not just kill them with a bullet or shot. He really went around retrieving needles/darts from chipmonks?
