Grusing & prosecutors now showing surveillance photos in court of #BarryMorphew throwing multiple items away on Sunday, May 10 - making 'trash runs' at an RTD stop, a Holiday Inn, a McDonald's and a Men's Wearhouse dumpster. Grusing says Morphew spent 40 mins in MW parking lot.

Had a darn meeting, just catching up. So was Barry pulling a Dulos? Running around dumping evidence in trash cans around Broomfield
Could they tell what it was he dumped, retrieve anything?

Just so you know - I have all the times down for the truck & his phone in my notes. Now back to reading 3 pages behind....

This is still all circumstantial. I am not as hopeful as you.

ITA, there is still room for reasonable doubt for even one juror.

The Sixth Amendment has long been used to argue a defendant's right to wear civilian and/or street clothes at trial (i.e., in the presence of a jury). Some states have taken this further by making it statutory for a defendant to be allowed to dress in street clothes during jury selection and public hearings -- arguing the garb of innocence.

To my knowledge, Colorado is not one of these states where the state legislators have adopted such policies. I think the defense most likely made this request to the court, and permission was granted for BM to appear unshackled, in civilian clothes.

We saw this more recently in CA after Paul Flores was arrested and he made his first court appearance dressed in a suit!
Thanks Seattle1, it was driving me nuts that he may have had special treatment.

Attempting to keep up today & I'm already 2 hours behind my friends here. I so appreciate those of you posting the twitter feed & commentary.

But, Who's on trial here? Suzanne or Barry?

And get a free breakfast at Holiday Inn. Duh.
And throw his hiking boots away but keep the laces because they were good? LOL. Now we are seeing the circumstantial evidence and it is piling up pretty quickly. this case reminds me so much of the Fotis Dulos case where he went on his trash runs and car wash with his girlfriend Michele Traconis. I want to see if they were able to recover anything from the trash or if it was too late and everything was gone.

Let us see, if BM uses Airplane mode regularly, reboots his truck etc.
Guess LE will check Mr Google, for BM's searches for his achievements: ALL revealed to drown the CREEP.

This is a great possibility, @Diddian.

However the cap got into the dryer, thankfully it was there for the investigators to find.

The tranquilizer cap also fits perfectly within the timeline - and answers the question - why was no blood found.

I'm sure B.M. didn't expect the cap to be found. That must have been an unpleasant surprise.
Every once in awhile, I think divine providence intervenes. And, I think in this case, an "angel" made sure that cap slipped out of that pocket and stayed in the dryer to be found.

How the heck was there even access to a tranq? Yikes. My mind is spinning.
I just checked- you can buy them online to fire out a .22 with a blank cartridge
