Is this correct tho. Or did it come from a Salida newspaper with extensive misinformation?
It’s from CBS Denver. The reporter has been in the courtroom and she’s the one he showed the love letters to last September or October.

Prosecutors Outline Barry And Suzanne Morphew's Movements On Days Around Her Disappearance

While Suzanne’s phone has not been found, investigators were able to recover documents from her iCould account. One of those documents was a list Suzanne made on May 8, entitled “grievances.” It included notes like “wedding ring,” which Barry allegedly took and melted at some point. She also noted women on Facebook, which Barry told her was good for business, as well as an incident in Mexico where Barry tried to take her phone away and look at it.

Remember when BM told LS that people had seen them in town that Saturday for sandwiches? He was clearly lying bc no such thing happened (which we already assumed). This is just one example of the many contradictory statements he’s made to LE. He’s toast.

I don't think those darts would leave any more blood than when we have our blood drawn - or get a shot. Hardly enough for most of us to "leave a trail." I usually have like one dot of blood on the bandaid, everyone I know says the same thing.

It is way more diabolical than I could have ever dreamed of. It is making me physically ill to think about it.

She thought she could manage him until she got out (and she wanted to leave with some money, it seems). He threw her off with his talk of suicide. It's just all so tragic and he is a monster.

Same for me, and it took me by surprise how deeply I grieved for Suzanne yesterday, after day 2 of the prelim. Of all the speculative theories we all had, none of us ever suspected what we heard about yesterday. It's taken me until now to even want to try and catch up. I suspect days 3 & 4 and then the AA will just further confirm what a horrifying, predatory monster Suzanne was married to. My heart is just broken for her, and for those girls.

I'd say the Colorado terrain is his best ally in that task. I believe her body was pushed over a cliff. I also think it is somewhere near where Barry laid on the ground during the search he was on. He was distracting attention from something important!

Climbers need to rappel that area with a grid search.

Just my 2 cents.

I wondered if the opening of the passenger side door was to steer a sedated SM to an outcrop on a highway somewhere and push her over the barrier. He might have stopped more than once to reconnoiter the location then decided the slope or the sightlines or lack of trees could have made SM visible.

I wondered if he did this between the time of 2:44 and 4:44 and then reset the vehicle tracking device after he returned home. If he did do that then Suzanne could be anywhere in a 45 minute drive from PP. Very risky to do in broad daylight but I presume the traffic was lighter because of Covid.

It's also possible that he did a reconnoiter of several locations for a body dump then went back home to collect Suzanne which could mean she is even closer to PP. May be he's one of those who 'go with what you know' types.

Not sure if I have those times correct, though.

More likely a person would tranquilize a predator animal...not the deer.

If there is zero connection to Suzanne at the river site, why would prosecution introduce it during the preliminary or use it in a trial? That would play well with the defense but doesn't support any of the theories. IF the river site DOES support the prosecution perhaps it will be used at trial. But I think there are some things that won't be part of the prosecution because they don't support their charges.

I've read on some vendor websites that farmers use darts to sedate herd animals like cattle if they need vet care.

Agree. To me the most disconcerting information is just how premeditated this all appears to be. This is a well thought out and planned assassination.
I believe so too. And he still made mistakes. The one thing he did was to hide her body well apparently. He must not have considered how many murderers are sentenced with circumstantial evidences.

Choosing the right jury is critical. While it’s easy for me to believe he murdered Suzanne, there may be that one juror who gives him a pass.

As crazy as this sounds I am glad that the affair came to light (except for her girls hearing about it). It speaks directly to motive and in my opinion strengthens the prosecutors case.

Agreed. I think it’s coincidental that her last communications were to her lover. I believe the timing of the murder was more about the girls being away than about being caught texting a lover. But it sure does look like motive for BM.

She probably texted him frequently, so the timing is not surprising.

BBM
Just now hearing that he melted down her wedding ring, I am interested to learn when that happened!
Moo.
I just came back. What wedding ring? When? Is there proof?

The affair with JL sounds more like a person dreaming of starting over, this time picking the right boy in high school.
Yes, high school fantasy stuff. This guy may have made her feel excited and giddy and loved, all at a time when she really needed to. She may have craved the type of attention he provided. Girls were older and busy with their own stuff, Barry always working or away. She found something to get goosebumps over. Forbidden fruit.

I don't remember BM telling LS they were seen at a sandwich shop but I do recall Andy citing this.

I wanna see it in the AA. After all, didn't he wink at her? (Half-kidding, here!)
Lol-ing at my own opinion

And Andy got it from a “psychic,” if I recall.

I have never followed a case like this and watched the tweets coming in over the two days like everyone here (y'all were good company btw :)). I actually had tension in my shoulders and a heck of a headache by the end. It was like watching a horror movie where you're yelling at the tv to warn the main character danger is ahead. I feel wrecked for SM. IMO

Obviously Barry lied about not knowing about the affair because if he admitted to LE he knew about it would make him look more suspect and planned it. He may have just found out close to Mother’s Day. She’s might have even told BM she had ended it then caught her communicating words of love to Jeff and went Berzerk. JMO MOO

I think the following says it all:

Crime Talk with Scott Reisch@CrimeTalkPod

Suzanne thought Barry was “simple” and not “stimulating in conversation”. She thought Libler was more into her for her brain and enjoyed their conversations more. Libler said he wanted to “get her on her own” but still not away from her girls.

ETA: I'm recalling the comment that BM would allegedly tell SM how one day she would "find her Fred." (i.e., Fred, her stepdad, was a medical doctor. Did BM mean to imply not a simple, landscaper)?

I know nothing about how the prosecution will connect the dots. But just given what he was doing on Mother’s Day, I could easily sentence BM to life. He has already proven to be a liar about what he was doing and why. He couldn’t even think up something he was throwing away. I’m pretty sure he knows the investigators have found something. When more information is presented I have no doubt the jury will vote for LWOP one hundred percent.

it took him 9 months (February 2021) to come up with the chipmunks story!

Who shoots chipmunks anyway? Hunting is fine. I come from a family of hunters. But they are not killers. They hunt for food. And they don’t murder innocent animals for fun. Him telling someone that made me sick.
