Obviously Barry lied about not knowing about the affair because if he admitted to LE he knew about it would make him look more suspect and planned it. He may have just found out close to Mother’s Day. She’s might have even told BM she had ended it then caught her communicating words of love to Jeff and went Berzerk. JMO MOO
She may have even become brave enough to tell him there was someone else. She may have been trying to stand up to his bullying, maybe losing her fear of him. If so, that was a mistake.

And Andy got it from a “psychic,” if I recall.
BM told LS that 2 people saw SM on Sunday but he couldn’t tell her who those people were. She told Tricia that on a Websleuths’s Live just few days before Andy’s search. He was getting desperate at that point imo.

I think it’s likely that the girls were briefed ahead of time about “the lies they’d hear in court” and what the “truth” is. The bad bad men are trying to put poor ol dad away just because he was shooting chipmunks. I think that’s why we see the smiles. They’re hearing only what they’ve been told.
Based on past comments from the Moorman family they have had minimal contact with the girls.
Surrounded and comforted by the Morphew family.
Speaks volumes, IMO

Yes, I think it will make it to trial. Bigger question in my mind is on what charges. I'm leery of a judge being able to stick to Murder 1 so far but I could see a different charge, Barry out on bond and a trial sometime in the next 12 months. I do not think so far they have supported the aggravation factor either and I don't see the state being able to keep him in jail for another year until trial...but we have 2 more days.

Yeah, I worry about those things too. However, I think the evidence of premeditation is strong (the darts, in particular). Since he apparently shot her with a dart gun, which would not have killed her, he had time to think over what he was doing. He then planned to reset his truck (!) and he turned his phone on and off airplane mode (we have yet to hear of its GPS story).

Are you using "aggravation" to mean "enhancements"? We haven't seen all the evidence of DV, but I think the judge has. We saw the message from MM (sister) and we heard that MM (YD) had knowledge of it and advised a divorce and a restraining order. I don't think it takes much more. We heard he shoved her into a closet and head a gun to his own head (very concerning, statistically, as regarding future violent behavior - if Suzanne were still alive, this would enough for an R/O, and that's the standard the judge may use - perfectly legal and reasonable).

Hiding her body and evidence is another one of the enhancements. I am convinced - are you not?

Who shoots chipmunks anyway? Hunting is fine. I come from a family of hunters. But they are not killers. They hunt for food. And they don’t murder innocent animals for fun. Him telling someone that made me sick.

The same guy who had no problem as a kid to take in a baby racoon as a pet after trapping its mother, raising it, then skinning it and selling its pelt after the racoon became to rowdy.

The prosecution suggests that the erratic movements recorded on BM’s phone are evidence of him chasing SM around the house (I’m not clear if around the house means inside, outside, or both).

Is there a guess if this chasing was before or after being (potentially) hit with a dart?

I’m a little surprised a dart would leave no blood trail, and no blood from falling over. Maybe he cleaned really well.

This is all so horrible to hypothesize. What kind of monster shoots their spouse with a tranquilizer dart? So unbelievably horrible. How I wish she’d left earlier, with no warning :( I think she knew he was dangerous, but I don’t think she ever imagined this level of diabolical.

A dart leaves a puncture wound not a gaping wound so it doesn't bleed much at all. Have you ever stapled your finger? That's a puncture wound.

Oh my goodness! That’s just psychotic! Now I have to wonder if Suzanne lived in fear her entire married life. :(

I don’t remember hearing this detail about the girls.

On May 6, Suzanne sent this text to Barry:

“I’m done. I could care less what you’re up to and have been for years. We just need to figure this out civilly.”

FBI agent testifies she had talked to daughters, friends about struggling marriage and now was telling Barry directly

That one made be laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes. Ol' Barry has a sense of humor I do think.

When the description was given of him circling around the outside of the house, while Suzanne was messaging her lover, my heart was in my throat.
What was it like for you?

I thought, this is gonna make a jury nail his a$$ to the wall.
Yeah, I can see him parking at the end of the driveway and walking around the house to catch her. I think he saw where she was and went to get his dart and gun and then caught her sending the photos. JMO

I wasn’t aware she had talked with Mallory. I’ve had the impression Mallory was a daddy’s girl anyway. I’m a bit disappointed that Macy told investigators she never saw physical abuse after advising her mom to get a restraining order. Why would she tell her mom to do that if she hadn’t seen the abuse? I would think instead she would try to be the peacemaker.

Yes, it's sad. Hopefully time will heal the wounds. I don't think Andy was thinking of the girls when he said in interviews that he thought Barry was a murderer. Other family members may be more accepted quicker or they may just end up estranged for a long time.

I have no doubt they saw them or heard them yelling at each other. And they are old enough to have heard stories from friends whose parents divorced. Kids talk about these things amongst themselves. I was always surprised how much my kids knew about other kids' parents marriages.

I am not convinced BM saw her sending photos. He had a plan already. He knew what he was going to do. I believe he planned it for awhile. Whether she sent photos or not, he was already going to kill her, especially after that May 6th text. He couldn’t have her so she couldn’t live.

I have never followed a case like this and watched the tweets coming in over the two days like everyone here (y'all were good company btw :)). I actually had tension in my shoulders and a heck of a headache by the end. It was like watching a horror movie where you're yelling at the tv to warn the main character danger is ahead. I feel wrecked for SM. IMO

There was a case here in Ontario a few years ago (Tim Bosma - murdered by 2 men after he listed his truck for sale online) where the trial was exclusively covered by live tweets. It was a lot like what we all watched here yesterday, but it lasted 4 months. There was much self-care that had to be taken seriously by those of us following, and hearing the most gruesome details. Apparently it's going to be exactly the same in Suzanne's case. I felt the same way, like watching a horror movie where you already know what's about to happen. It's exhausting for sure.

The affair with JL sounds more like a person dreaming of starting over, this time picking the right boy in high school.
with a wife and 6 kids.

I’m surprised too . I always thought MM1 was extremely close with BM from pics on SM’s Twitter of just the 2 of them going on trips back in 2016 and other social media posts. I think when MM2 was asked that, it was when LE had just walked up their driveway with SM’s bike that night. I’m sure she was understandably freaked out. Perhaps MM2 had never seen anything physical, I think SM would have shielded her from that, but she definitely knew about the arguments and gaslighting.

I'm only on page 4 at the moment, but I would appreciate something clarified in case the data is not ahead of me.

Where is the information coming from that there were no sheets on Mallory's bed?

This one tiny issue is not easily googled for the proper origin. Is it true or is it an assumption? TIA

Why does anyone feel bed linens were in the clothes dryer at the PP home? It's certainly fine if that's the case but I have never seen the origin of that information either.
