Like got there at 4 and left at 530?
It sounds like he was there between 4-530. This was Lauren’s tweet. (I know it’s a huge gap that makes no sense)
“According to an employee at Salida Stove and Spa, Neilsen said from an interview with investigator Derek Graham #BarryMorphew visited on May 9 between 4 and 5:30 p.m. That there was nothing unusual about his demeanor.”

Perhaps he was sad. But I can't overlook his cowardice. He had valuable testimony to offer, but chose to try to preserve his own wellbeing instead. When Andy came to search, he was looking for a dead Suzanne. Not one that ran off to Ecuador, even through all that he remained silent. So how much did he really love Suzanne?

There is a good possibility that knowing about her last communications with him ASAP after he discovered she was missing would’ve helped the investigation. Maybe they could’ve visited those 5 trash cans in time to recover evidence?

But I also wonder if he was thinking of Suzanne, and what she would’ve wanted. Was this affair a “take it to the grave” secret for her? Was the idea to hide it from her kids no matter what happens? He may have initially been respecting that.

Nevertheless, these are the scenarios people in affairs need to prepare themselves for. Maybe nothing as extreme as a murder, but what it SM had been injured on one of their trips? It’s a dangerous game. At least she had some joy in her final months. I wish it could’ve been different. Lasting, and free.

I am way behind. Just wanted to add that it is my job in my house to take care of the hot tub and pool. I have taken care of pools off and on most of my life. Do we know that BM purchased chlorine? The chlorine BM would have purchased for a hot tub would have been in a powder or tablet form. Liquid chlorine is unstable and would wear off too fast to be useful.

this probably doesn't mean anything. Just food for thought.
I assumed tabs. Chlorine has been used in lieu of anything else like Kleenex and facial tissues. There was also some disjointed reference to repair work that Barry was trying to get done on the hot tub.

From day one of hearing "DNA found in Suzanne's car's glove box partially matched to three people in a criminal database for sexual assault."

Does anyone know the significance of this? I am drawing a blank. Might Barry us it to claim that Suzanne was hanging around with bad people?
Maybe Barry used her car to pick up his "meth heads" for work at times. Those were his words, not mine.

Barry sent 3 texts ( 6:10am, 8:41 am, 3:30 pm) and made one phone call to Suzanne (11:20 am) on Mother’s Day. She never responded. But Barry went about his business, making trash runs, washing the truck, watching tv. Over ten hours but no cause for alarm.
Lol. And for 11 minutes, he did work on the job that he left super early for.

It’s almost as if he was just trying to form an alibi…

Since Morgan first spoke, I knew this alibi was going to collapse. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine it would be anything this hilarious though.

I wasn’t aware she had talked with Mallory. I’ve had the impression Mallory was a daddy’s girl anyway. I’m a bit disappointed that Macy told investigators she never saw physical abuse after advising her mom to get a restraining order. Why would she tell her mom to do that if she hadn’t seen the abuse? I would think instead she would try to be the peacemaker.

Yes, ITA. Macy's statement that she never saw physical abuse contradicts how she apparently encouraged her mother to get a restraining order and divorce. Very odd, yet again, I think Macy is thinking ahead with the "what if's" ex. BM not going to prison. She backpedaled for her safety "just in case." JMO

Apparently the girls were witnesses to lots of arguments between their parents. They would have known that Suzanne was not happy in that marriage. So I don’t see their claims of not seeing abuse as a contradiction.

Fights, conflict, and unhappiness are also reasons for divorce.

We heard two examples, and both would be situations where the daughters were not present (gun to his head while pushing Suzanne in closet, and pinning her down on bed).

Can someone tell us what kind of autos they had and who drove what?
If you go to any auto insurance site they are very happy to give you a bid.

Go to several of the auto ins. sites and enter their address. Might not be 100% accurate, but it will get you in the ballpark!

You make a great point. ;) Macy may have heard about potential abuse but never actually witnessed it first hand. JMO

I don't think it's going to have a bearing on a conviction. Being unfaithful isn't a crime. Neither is 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 unless it involves children. And I wouldn't be surprised if BM has a long list of women he's hooked up with for one night stands over the years. Tacky? Sure. Criminal? Nah. Plus there's the goose/gander element of this case since SM had an affair, a long lasting one. And so far, the only one proven.

I would not want a juror to convict BM because he's a doosh. Just like I don't want an acquittal because SM had an affair.
What I was trying to point out is that if Barry did indeed have one-night stands, it would make Suzanne's affair less likely to be an issue for that one juror.

That's an excellent thought. LE didn't find the short rifle until after the PP house was sold which was March 3rd. It had to be there and they found it or the new owner turned it in to LE. This was probably the gun he used. I think you're right!
I'm way behind on here tonight, but a home inspector could have found it and the new owner waited until he owned the property to turn it over to LE.

How deep is this river? Could this be where he took Suzanne to drown her after he incapacitated her with the dart?
Early in the investigation (if I recall) Tyson Draper had filmed Barry hiking up a hill from a creek/river and he was noticeably sweaty. Does anyone else recall this? Or perhaps it was in one of those early PE videos maybe. And remember the Search and Rescue members saying that BM was seen with a large rifle seemingly patrolling his property while search parties were out? This happened very early on and always seemed suspicious to me.

Ding ding ding I’m thinking the hot tub factors in
Yes, I'm thinking there were other body fluids aside from blood that BM didn't anticipate. Out of fear or the effects of the tranquilizer, maybe even the tranquilizer combined with the heat of the hot tub: vomit, urine, excrement. OR some blood source or another that may be the result of cancer treatment; SM had a blood cancer?

This is a very important thing to note. imo

If BM could dig a hole for Suzanne, put Suzanne in a big cooler and hide it very well, put Suzanne in a mine, bury her under a tree, put her in any of the mutlitude of hiding places that we can think of .... why would he not conceal evidence in a similar manner?

To me, it is not as if he would have killed Suzanne, disposed of her, then thought "Oh maybe I should go back and pick up all the evidence now and chuck it in some bins that are located around exactly where I am going to work".

Puzzling.

Do you think that maybe he could have been trying to insinuate that Suzanne was murdered by one of his workers who were sent to Broomfield ... to do nothing? Trying hard to think of a reason for this behaviour.

IMO, he was trying to use up as much time as he could. And possibly thought, since he was out of town, investigators would only check hotel and jobsite to make sure he was where he said he was. He probably did not put into account they would search all the cameras around that town to "follow" him.

There was several places he went that he made sure no one would find out and that's when he reset the computer of his truck. I'm wondering why he did this so soon....... why not do that after all the trash runs?

I thought I read a tweet where after he backed down the driveway, his phone registered close to where the bike was found, but that movement was inconclusive? I was wondering if this maybe was when he planted the bike by walking it to that destination but others have said it's steep terrain(?) And then others have suggested using the other vehicle to possibly move her body to an unknown location and this makes a lot more sense to me.

I also have a question about the print found on her glove box..... Did they say they checked her car out in Indiana and if so, why was it there? If not, the partial print came from online booking records in Indiana? Like someone is in jail there and it matched their fingerprint? I'm just wondering how this person was in her car... I'm sure they have talked to the partial print owner to see if there was some type of connection....
