Do people skin and eat chipmunks, raccoons and squirrels? Do they shoot them with tranquilizers? I honestly have never heard of that. Seriously asking.
I know of people hunting for large game for food but not these small rodents/mammals?

Considering that the tranquilizers came in a 4 pack and are highly regulated and BM claims to have shot 80 chip monks; none of that adds up to him realistically tranquilizing any animals in his back yard.

IMO BM never ever thought LE would be checking around Broomfield to see what he was up to while he was there. He was convinced that LE would automatically believe his alibi and he would be in the clear. He figured they would call to confirm that he was in Broomfield and that would be it. Only LE suspected something was off with the story right from the beginning. I think this was why BM was so peeved at LE.

Yes, I have considered that. But I have also considered, that as a listener to true crime podcasts, he would know that the police always scrutinise those closest to the victim/missing person first. Then work outwards. So it doesn't add up why he would dump in the way that he did.

He had plenty of time. Why not dump in the same manner in which he hid Suzanne? Highly concealed.

The picture I am looking for shows her apple iwatch clearly. I searched the birthday video and the 6 month anniversary one, but I'm starting to think I'm crazy cuz it's not in either of those but I know i saw it somewhere. Driving myself crazy over it.
You aren't crazy. I saw it too. Could it have been a FitBit?

I plotted Barry's course on the morning of the 10th. That is clearly a man in panic mode.

Google Maps

Very helpful. Thank you. What is the significance of E, F, and G? And can you add the RTD station too?

IMO, the daughters would say what their father told them. I don't believe that she stole $70,000. The only way that I would believe it if it ended up in her secret bank account, which hasn't been touched, btw.

JMO.
She cant steal money that is hers. Common property.

May 6, 2020 Text Messages
  • "I’m done. I could care less about what you’ve been up to for years. We need to figure this out civilly," Suzanne wrote in a text message to Barry on May 6, 2020, days before vanishing.
  • "I promise you, you are wrong about all the crazy thoughts about me," Barry responded to his wife. "Why would I want another, only a fool would stray from an angel like you."
  • Harris said on the same day that Suzanne and Barry clashed over cheating allegations, May 6, Barry also sent his wife messages about suicide. "Going to see my savior. This life on earth is a mear grain of sand compared to eternity," Barry texted Suzanne on May 6, FOX21 News reports.
May 6th was also the day Bridget Bulker ran into Barry & Suzanne out for an evening stroll. She was the cleaning person who was putting trash in the dumpster, they stopped to question who she was.

How do you go from that kind of a text exchange, to an evening stroll? I guess that's why Suzanne said she just needs "peace".

Besides the text Suzanne sent Melinda on Friday. Do we have anything else for Thursday & Friday, May 7th & 8th?

Why would you want to retreive a turkey that had been shot "some time ago"? Wouldn't it be disgusting? I'm not a hunter so I don't know. MOO.

Why would the daughter have killed a turkey and just left it there. It sounds so cruel to me to kill a living creature for no reason. I could understand if it was going to be cooked for thanksgiving.

Sorry for my misleading posts. I absolutely believe he is LYING about the turkey in this instance, and the chipmunks. He’s lying about his movements because what he was really doing was planning and committing the murder of his wife. He needed reasonable activities to explain his movements, and hunting is reasonable in his location. It’s normal.

Yes. people so shoot turkeys in these areas. My sibling does. Yes, the norm is to only shoot what you intend to eat. But I also think BM is a terrible person, and who knows what he’d shoot for fun.

MOO

After going over my timeline here are some random thoughts and questions:

- I'm getting the feeling there is another person is involved. We have missing money. By Barry saying it's missing that is his excuse for the missing $$$. He can steer his responsibility of the money to Suzanne OR he can say someone broke into the house, stole the money and took Suzanne. OR what if that money was used to pay someone to either A. Murder his Wife or B. Get rid of the body of his murdered wife? The lack of a body and the fact that investigators didn't find much in the house or on the property leads me to believe that Suzanne was taken far away from the house. Suzphone last pinged from 4:10am-4:22am far from the Morphew home. With Barry's phone pinging near where the bike was found AND him returning home @ 4:31am he can't be at two places at the same time. This is a problem!

On the 9th
- 2:47pm Barry turns his phone off.
- 4:44pm Truck door opens and closes.
- The next bit of info we get is that the truck computer was reset a 5:53pm. What happened in the 2 hrs between 2:47 and 4:44pm( Is this the time of the murder?)
- We also have the hour and 9 mins from 4:44-5:53pm. What happened then?

- The sheets in the daughter's room. What if the murder didn't happen at 2:47pm? What if they had an argument about the texts to Libler and that was all? Say they talked for awhile and then went to bed and instead of sleeping in the same bedroom, Suzanne went to sleep in the daughter's room. Could Barry or someone else gone in there and murdered her? Then she is wrapped up in those bed sheets and taken away or Barry takes the sheets and disposes of them on one of his garbage runs? Just another scenario.

- Barry's truck moves to the end of the driveway on the night of the 9th. From 9:24 to 9:56 it would appear from the truck data that Barry was in the truck for 32 minutes. What was he doing in there? Is Barry waiting in the car while someone else goes into the house to kill and/or remove Suzanne?

-3:58am- Barry's phone goes to the area where Suzanne's bike is found.
-4:31am- Barry's phone is back at the home.
He's got a lot of explaining to do here!!

- I have a feeling that there is an explanation for the tranquilizer gun and dart. Why would Barry admit to throwing it away if it had anything to do with the murder? That's not smart AT ALL. That puts a possible smoking gun in his hand. After being careful with everything else, why be so careless with something that can and will be used against him. It doesn't make sense. Don't be surprised if this turns out to be nothing.

- We need more truck info. For instance the cell phone pings that have Barry moving around to the bike area and back home, does the truck data indicate that the truck doors opened and closed at those locations???!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT AS IT'S ANOTHER INDICATOR THAT HE WAS THERE. That info is missing and needs to be accounted for. I find this sloppy work by the DA. They make a big deal about truck data yet when it is really needed to corroborate phone data they don't bring it up!

Because what he did was took the cap off and stuck it in his pocket and forgot about it. I'm sure he tried to look for it. But it was in his dryer. IMO

Great Timeline!
Has there been any indication given of where he was at 10:48am when he sent the text “coming home”
I don't think an indication was given in the PH; however, isn't this just about a half hour before MG said BM announced they were done working at the Salida riverfront worksite for the day? BM had had MG "raking the riverfront flat, flat, flat." IIRC, they knocked off work around 11 am.

I love the way Barry spews crap and people go on a "wild chipmunk chase" to justify it.

Reminds me of all his attempts to win SM, back. "Suzanne, I love you."
JMHO

lol! I sure went on the wild turkey chase because it was such an odd excuse. Wouldn’t MM have needed a ~$50 Spring turkey license? So why let the $50 dinner scurry away? And how far could it have even gone? And how many weeks prior did this occur? Just so odd.

ITA - in his arrogance it never occurred to him there would be any questions - and his mistakes and perhaps lack of technical knowledge will convict him

The photo has me curious too. Not too long ago I took a photo (with my phone) of an old photo taken with a digital camera and sent it to a family member. It looked exactly the same.
Did they take the daughter's phones? Are they all on the same cloud?
They might not have looked too far into it and just accepted that she took it that day?
I'm fishing but I remember reading that it was pretty cold that day and not exactly sunbathing weather. Just a thought.

High was 71 5/10/20 in Salida, probably a few degrees cooler at their house.

On the way home from Salida.
Yup, goes right by it. The round trip into town was about 46 minutes. That left him about 20 minutes to change out the Bobcat thingy and to stop in at SS&S. He was supposed to have checked out a job at Kim’s gym, too. Would have been tight, but doable.
Note: Trailhead refers to Puma Path. Someone was successful in having the street removed from Google maps

Where do you see that he returned home after the truck was at the bike location?

I see that his phone turned to airplane mode at 4:31 am, but not his location.

I think she was still alive so my guess is she thought she was safe with who she communicated with during these late hours?
