Barry sent all the meth heads to Broomfield. How many meth heads did this guy employ? Is it possible one of them went to his house on Mother's day and caused Suzanne's demise?
BBM:He had alot of subs though.I do wish we had more of a narrative. I guess that’s what happens when we experience a preliminary hearing before the AA is released. There’s not much of a story to follow, just basic information, which I guess is the way it is supposed to be. I can’t figure out how we got from point A to B to murder. From taking a hike and meeting the house cleaner, to texts about the marriage ending, to sharing pizza and soup and requesting hot tub stuff, to tranquilizer darts and chipmunks and alibi seeking. I hope that the next two sessions provide a bit of context so that it all makes some kind of sense.

If the burner was previously placed in another location that might work.Perhaps it occurred to him to make one more call on her phone. I'd need to know to whom the call was placed to guess much more, but really if Barry wanted to plan the perfect crime, he wouldn't have had her phone go completely dark from 2:47pm-ish on May 9.
Perhaps Barry had a burner phone (or two). Maybe he called that phone, knowing the number could never be traced to Barry (Suzanne's stepbrother says "He always paid cash...for everything." He could even call back from that number, to make it seem as if Suzanne had yet another paramour. He did the FB thing near midnight - he's still up, his adrenalin still pumping, as he's packing up the phone, he gets this bright idea to call his burner...one last time, to throw the timeline into further disarray.
And thank you for all your work on the timeline, @OldCop.
corn feed anyone?MOO picking off chipmunks is not a pest control solution.
It's for fun.
He may have been baiting them.
This photo gallery from that development (Monarch River Estates) has several photographs of the river.I keep thinking about Barry's hour by the river 5/9. And that he ran into TD a few days later soaking wet in street clothes. That river must have been really cold at that time of year, so he must have felt there was something very important in that water.
Maybe there was a final fight before her death and she took off her wedding ring and threw it at Barry. Might have landed in the river.
Just a thought. I'll be curious to find out if that ring was ever found.
Can anyone describe the river? How wide or deep is it? Lazy flow or good current?
TOTALLY AGREE - IMO there was NEVER $70k in that safe. Barry is really good at setting up a narrative and manipulating situations - we have seen a pattern that shows this type of behavior with him. I am trying to remember how much he received in PPE loans - Is he setting himself up for when the gov't (hopefully)comes back to collect that PPE money he received ? Barry can then say "Well gosh darn it, I had the money... But don't you know my missing wife stole it out of the safe to run off! " This is just another scam he is running with this $70k missing idea. He sees an opening and he capitizes on it. He first accused LE of stealing it. But wouldn't LE have an inventory/record of what was in the safe when they took the safe just to protect themselves? Think probabilities, this possiblities: It is possible the money was there but what is more probable given his scamming, cunning behavior. I vote for his scamming ways. Once again IMOIt could have, but who knows? I don't think there was $70,000 in his safe. JMO. The 'hush-hush' meant for MG not to turn her phone over to LE, which she did. She knows a lot and so does her phone.
Thats gaslighting.I do wish we had more of a narrative. I guess that’s what happens when we experience a preliminary hearing before the AA is released. Wow this is a good thought! WHY exactly did the blade need to be changed out or fixed? (I’m still unclear if the entire blade was replaced or exactly what the mechanical thing was.)IIRC, the job raking the riverfront "flat, flat, flat" came as a surprise to MG. I would not be AT ALL surprised to learn that BM damaged something on the Bobcat and/or blade when he was preparing a spot to bury SM later and he had MG use the equipment on Saturday morning in the hope the damage would become apparent and he could blame it on MG.

Thank you, this was exactly what I was looking for. It looks like the river is normally shallow enough for someone to wade around in.This photo gallery from that development (Monarch River Estates) has several photographs of the river.

Did you notice in the final row of photos the one of the two bobcats? Wonder if they were hanging around to gobble up some dead chipmunks or dead turkeys that somebody not very careful about attracting wildlife left lying about.Thank you, this was exactly what I was looking for. That’s why SM was eating veggie soup for lunch.Chipmunks in Colorado (and elsewhere) can carry plague and hantavirus among other baddies. Someone like BM might not know that/believe it, but overall I think it's unlikely he would eat any that he may have killed over the years. MOO
Was being facetious about shooting them with darts. I guess I live in an urban bubble because I've NEVER heard of shooting chipmunks or squirrels, especially for target practice - as someone mentioned.I don't think Barry indicated that he was shooting chipmunks with darts...but that he was shooting them. It just so happens that tranquilizer darts can be fired from standard rifles which are compatible.
That always stood out to me too. I think that Jeff Puckett knows more than he says.
MOO routine maintenance.Wow this is a good thought! WHY exactly did the blade need to be changed out or fixed? (I’m still unclear if the entire blade was replaced or exactly what the mechanical thing was.)
LOL!I still have one of those...

IMO the outcome of this case - once it gets to trial - will heavily depend upon the jurors being able to put the puzzle pieces together/connect the dots. People process information differently. Some are more left brained( logical analytical linear )I do wish we had more of a narrative. I guess that’s what happens when we experience a preliminary hearing before the AA is released. Thanks for the link. I wonder if the camo jacket and boots BM is wearing in this photo are the ones he threw in the dumpster in Broomfield. Looks to me like the boots had shoelaces then..This photo gallery from that development (Monarch River Estates) has several photographs of the river.
