DSI employee that removed the Bobcat blade will know if it was maintenance, the blade worn to replacement spec, or damage.

IMO, BM loved that bobcat more than he loved SM. I believe the blade replacement was maintenance he knew was past due when he could not get the grade he desired on the beach/riverfront property.

When it came to the bobcat, I don't think BM would even let murder interfere!

I found a good YT example of what I think BM had done at DSi.

It's definitely the kind of job BM would pay a "buddy" to do.

Blades are "damaged" each time they are used. After a while, all blades need to be changed - routinely. I suppose Barry was concerned that soil samples would immediately be taken from his used blade. Since he had a brand new blade on his Bobcat, when LE first showed up and looked at it, it would seem to them that it had likely not been used in the commission of a recent crime. Certainly, it would be pointless to try for a soil sample from the tiny grooves on the blade if it was brand new.

I hope they did go back and get soil samples from the undercarriage/tires of the Bobcat, but sadly, so far it sounds as if they left the Bobcat out of the picture. By the time they got to it, there would have been many layers of soil deposits on its underside and no way of analyzing it easily.

Old blade should have been in scrap at DSI when detectives started following up.

Barry’s truck moved once, but just a ways down the driveway. We haven’t heard any evidence that Barry traveled anywhere until the early morning hours of the 10th.

On May 7, #BarryMorphew texted a person about getting a new truck. Attempted to call #SuzanneMorphew dad Gene. Also texted George Davis. Mallory was sending pictures of their trip to Utah and also a text that said, "Finally got the job!"

I don’t think he did get a new one, obviously, but I do wonder if he borrowed one to dispose of Suzanne. The reset of his truck doesn’t wipe out the data in the future, yet there’s nothing there.

I think there’s a bombshell coming.

If it was missing for months wouldn't Barry wonder why? Did Barry dispose of it while on his trek to Broomfield? We know why he would.

I hope they don't pull these theatrics during the trial. The girls blowing kisses to Daddy, mouthing We Love You, crying inconsolably when they see the bicycle, like it was really Mommy's last known location...

I don't think your last sentence is fair. As far as the girls know that 100% IS Mother's last known location. Remember that IF BM is proven to be responsible for their mother's death, they are victims who will have been blindsided by their unconditional love for their father. They have already lost their mother and their father is in jail about to go to trail for murder. My heart ACHES for those poor girls. They are on the precipice of having their entire belief system annihilated. Their faith, their world view, their concepts of family and their value of love is about to come down on them with the weight of a 1000 centuries of despair. The rest of their lives will be irreparably damaged. They can cry as much or as little as they want to as far as I'm concerned and I'm crying for them. It's brutal what those girls are going through.

I agree. However, take note that BM seemed to rescind the invite the moment that SM asked/suggested meeting at a mutually decided location. BM ended that by just heading home. BM saw SM was still standing firm and he was not in control.

Personally, I think the entire text string on Saturday morning was BM "taking the temperature" at the homefront post SM's "I'm done" text, and more gaslighting of SM.

And If I recall , It was MM who shot the turkey days earlier and it was MM's sheets had been stripped off her bed ?? IMO

I did a cursory search for links to both the boyfriend’s statement and Andy’s in the media threads, but had no luck yet.

When deputies first arrived at the Morphew home, body camera video shows Macy’s boyfriend, Miles Harvey, exiting the garage. He told deputies it was unusual that Suzanne’s car was still at the home but her bike was gone, as she usually takes her car with her before she sets out on the bike trail. He also tells deputies that he knows his girlfriend’s parents had problems in the past and talked about separating.

I don't mean to sound insensitive. I admit I am a bit miffed by their court behaviour. Laughing with their father, praising his looks, pointing to their hair for dad's affirmation---blowing kisses---it seems contrived for the public, imo.

I know they are the victims and I should be sensitive to that situation. I am just impatient and wish they could see what their father did to their Mom. So far, they seem to be fully in his corner.

This rumour appears to be being passed around as fact on SM. I have been digging around for any evidence that this occurred. I have not found any as yet. There were claims that the journalist LS mentioned it in one of her live Prelim recaps. I rewatched them all and I could not find any statement that matched the rumour.

That would be a massive smoking gun, if true. Sadly, I think it's a case of wishful thinking.

Miles explains he is one of the daughter's boyfriends. He noticed that Suzanne's car was home, but bike was gone. He told deputies that Suzanne typically brings her car with her when she goes mountain biking. (Bodycam video)

Miles and his father describe places where Suzanne goes biking as well as what she typically wears. The deputy asked Miles what Barry and Suzanne's relationship was like, "They've had some problems in the past. They have talked about separating. I've known this through Macy."

I think you'll find that BM showed up at PP for lunch at 11:30 AM-- only to leave again within minutes -- prompting SM to tell JL 'guess who's alone again.'

BM later texts SM that he's on his way home (for a second time Saturday) and arrives around 2:43 pm.
