Going on your theory maybe the outgoing call was BM calling JL back because he wanted to hear who had called. I think he knew she was having an affair with someone at this point but not who the affair was with. Maybe curiosity got the better of him and he called the number back to see who answered or hear the voicemail it went to.
that was my original thought.

There are so many smart and detailed people on this thread. I can't wait to see the AA and hear more details at trial. I believe we will all have speculated a lot of factual information and theories. :D

Barry is going down and I think MG and JP will also play a key role on Barry's comings/goings that weekend.

In Lauren Scharf's video she said JP suspected something suspicious was up immediately with BM and for MG and him to take notes, which they did and turned over to LE.

Shelly Bradbury tweet 1:15pm 8/10/21:
‘Grusing testifies that Barry told CBI he went home and had lunch with Suzanne on May 9, but that cell records show he actually walked around their home towards a nearby trailer park at that time. He later told the FBI he was looking for turkeys.’

I was wondering about BM walking towards a nearby trailer park when he came home for lunch on 5/9. I’ve read that he was looking for a turkey MM had shot in the backyard near the river IIRC.

Isn’t the trailer park in the opposite direction of their backyard and away from the home? Would this walk take him by the location where the bike was found? I couldn’t readily find a map for reference regarding the location of the Morphew home to the nearby trailer park. If someone has one to post as a visual, TIA.

I think the river walk could be a bit like his pacing at the 'beach' site on Saturday morning.
Trying nervously to drum up the courage to do what he knew he was going to do (murder Suzanne).
Especially if he was going to murder Suzanne outside the home, to leave no trace evidence inside the home. He would want to make sure that no-one was within cooee (within reach) of the house.

I have wondered why we believed that BM actually ate lunch with Suzanne. Just because he says so, doesn't mean he did.

Could very well be a possibility also. Then his curiosity will have helped 'kill the Cat'. Oh, Barry.... :p

Yes, very could be. I wonder if he wasn’t looking for the spot where he would stage the bike. That’s why I wondered if the walk he took towards the nearby trailer park wasn’t in the area of the bike location.

It’ll be interesting to see what tracking LE has on him regarding his movements during this time frame in that area.

I will admit, I hope MG has a role in helping to nail BM. After being torn apart in social media as the possible “other woman” early in the case, and of course having been fired by BM, it would be quite a turn of events for her to help bring him down.

MOO Since it's Colorado, my first thought was hydroponic weed. It's nicknamed hydro. Marijuana is supposed to be good for cancer patients pain management. MOO
I explained it and it came out with your quote! It's CBD oil that is good for pain. Some people think because its marijuana you get high from it but that is not the case. (medical marijuana)

Morphew's defense attorney, Iris Eytan, is still cross-examining FBI Agent Kenneth Harris. She says law enforcement seized a safe from Morphew's home that was returned with $70k in cash missing. She suggests that Suzanne Morphew took the cash as she prepared to leave the marriage

Senior Deputy District Attorney Jeff Lindsey says Morphew previously accused law enforcement of stealing the money

If it was hydrocodone or hydroxyzine, it’s possible that she just typed hydro because it’s shorter and the recipient knows what she means. It doesn’t necessarily mean she’d call it hydro when speaking. Like I’ll type appt but say appointment.

I keep thinking it’s Hydrox cookies :p

MOO

Expensive non-insured hydrotherapy is another “hydro” thought……I don’t think SM would have an on-going prescription for any nasty pain med. JMO though.

Yes, I could see that also. The bike dump site was apparently just .4 miles from the house. About 15 minutes to walk half a mile. 15 minutes to walk back. 30 minutes to scope out a good spot to dump the bike along the way. (As well as walk off some nerves.)

That could easily account for the one hour 'looking for a turkey'.

So where do we think this money went? It was kept in the garage if I’m correct. I hope SM took it to be honest and put it in her account. Any ideas? I mean he did have garage cameras at one point that SM was really bothered by. So I do really hope she got it and stashed it away somewhere for her girls. One last thing she could do to support herself and her daughters if she managed to get out.

Side note- I bet that money was really hers anyway from her inheritance that he borrowed time and time again from her so he needs to stop worrying about it.

Today I’m in the camp of walking around and shutting off the trail cams. Might change my mind tomorrow.

Anthing is possible. I have been thinking about LandManatee's thought, and I think it is a good possibility.

I personally think it would be very uncertain to toss a bike down a slope and make it look like it crashed. You would need some weight on the bike for it to travel very far down the slope. With no weight on it, it could very well just land a little way down and in a flat 'tossed' position. Possibly landing so that it is not even facing downwards.

Perhaps the bike was staged from the bottom of the slope. And perhaps, surrepetiously, in the daylight/twilight/early dawn ... so he could see what he was doing. That the staging looked adequate (to him).

A tech person will need to lay this out, but apparently and interruption of the starting 12v battery stops some features but not all.
It seems like geolocation history is wiped, but not control operations.

Thank you. Maybe the “control” operations are like the ACARS operational/maintenance stuff on an airplane as opposed to black (orange) box real-time movement stuff?

I cannot wait until the tech people explain everything.

Meanwhile I await movements of the Range Rover.

I’m skeptical of its existence. Even if Suzanne had access to that safe (I doubt she even did), Barry would likely realize very quickly that the money was missing (he kept his guns in there). We have no indication that was the case.

Law enforcement was accusing him of involvement in his wife’s disappearance, and accusing them of taking his money would be some measure of revenge for him.

At this point, I would need independent verification that was ever 70k in the safe. I wouldn’t take Barry’s word for it.

Suzanne had been fighting cancer. It is not uncommon for cancer patients to be prescribed medication to control pain, fight nausea, lessen anxiety or assist with sleep.

‘I’m not the other woman’: Second contractor speaks out about Suzanne Morphew investigation | FOX21 News Colorado

The original plan for the Broomfield job – a retaining wall – included only Gentile and Barry, she said.

“We were originally supposed to go out there at the end of April,” Gentile explained.

She said, the plans changed, pushing the project to the first of May, then changed again to the weekend of May 10. Gentile said she was surprised when Barry called her asking her to assemble a crew for the job.

“Last minute he changed everything. In fact, he called me that Sunday – Mother’s Day – and was really frantic, really didn’t sound like himself,” Gentile said. “I hung up the phone and I thought he just had the worst night of his life.”
I have thought this damning since the 1st time I heard it. Wonder what MG would say about the prelim so far?

Devils advocate here.. why was Suzanne bothered so much by garage cameras in her 50 reasons to leave note. My thought was because that money was there and they both knew it and both wanted it.

I’m just trying to figure why she had the issue with the garage cameras.

Do you think we will hear any information from MG’s interviews with investigators during the prelim? Or see texts between her and Barry?
