I’m perplexed by this, and I’m wondering if the date was misstated in court.

This is something that makes sense for Saturday night, but it makes no sense for Friday night.

It would be a strange thing for Suzanne to do (both forget password and then friend a bunch of guys).

If Barry did it, then Suzanne would surely have realized at some point on Saturday.

If the date was intended to be 5/9 it would have been between these two events (based on the provided notes)
5:33 PM: Power to F350 “telematics box” removed, system rebooted, unexplained why that occurred.
Driver door opens and closes.
9:25 PM: Truck reverses back in driveway for 96 feet.

Either way, it is still a strange step to take if it was him. You would think he would know if he followed true crime that her social media would be pulled. It would easily show when individuals were added as friends.

If it was 5/8 maybe SM reset her passwords in case BM knew them. She had made it clear that the relationship was over. Maybe she was interested in re-connecting with people she knew from her past just to expand her social circle and see where people were in life. (Only other possible guess I can come up with in the moment)

I was going over some of my notes. Since the wedding was on Sunday, it would stand reason there would be a zoom wedding rehersal. (Unless it was early morning I'm guessing she was dead by the time of a rehersal. So that means a no show.)

In the upcoming hearing I am very interested in this information.

I think we’re all here twiddling our thumbs until Monday, chomping at the bit for a few more morsels to chew on.
In the meantime, I’m picking through some of the known bits to see if any of our theories become clearer. One thing that has me curious is the 9:25 pm backup of 95 feet or so of BM’s truck in the driveway at PP on 5/9.
I’ve played around with that a bit. It is about 95 ft from the area of BM’s 3 car garage or the front door of their home to the open area at the top of their driveway. (These are inexact measurements using Google maps.)
It appears from the way that the trailer is parked in the aerial news footage, that BM bears left as he comes into the driveway and pulls behind the trees that are planted in the driveway, probably to act as a screen for his equipment. See first photo below.
Next, he can leave his truck there or drop the trailer and pull the truck either to the side of the house facing the driveway or go up to the garage. If he drove up to the garage when he arrived home at 2:44 pm, it has been speculated that he backed out at 9:25 pm so he could take the old RR with no gps to dispose of SM or evidence. Scenario #1. My issue with this is if you have that 3 car garage and parking pad, you shouldn’t have to back up 95 feet to move out one of your other vehicles.
The other possibilibility is that he left the truck by the side of the house at 2:44 pm and backed up to the garage or front door at 9:25 pm to begin loading the body or evidence. Scenario #2
Any thoughts?
He returned at 2:44p with his bobcat and he has to unhitch the trailer at some point prior to leaving PP again.

Also all my old old notes say the fb friend requests were Saturday night.

Yes, I think it is possible a mistake was made in court and the date was erroneously stated by the witness (or whoever).

Another reporter interpreted it as 'the night before'. While Lauren's tweet says May 8th.

Thanks again @NoSI ! Your notes are awesome. On May 8th: 2:49 PM: "BM asks SM to stop by the worksite if she can. She was to bring something to drink and he would show her the worksite. SM informed BM that she was studying and planned togo on a bike ride. She did meet BM at the Tailwinds worksite. They got into SMs Range Rover and went to Safeway and Moonlight Pizza. SM took pic of BM outside Moonlight Pizza and sent it to daughters via text."

I don't know if it was ever confirmed but it sounds like Suzanne DID go out with BM that Friday afternoon to get some Pizza. I remember there was talk that witnesses saw them together but I don't recall if it was ever confirmed.

Warwick7 - since you have notes, and the wedding was going to be Sunday, could (or anyone) listen to the video in this post I found that was referencing the FB friend requests. It sounds like he says they were talking the night before the wedding. How does that line up with the end of her phone calls being at night as released in the PreTrial. I may not be following this correctly.. I thought her last communication was with JL.

Notes in this post: CO - CO - Suzanne Morphew, 49, did not return from bike ride, Chaffee County, 10 May 2020 #32

Note: not sure if all this even really matters in the big picture, just trying to determine if it was likely 5/8 and maybe there was confusion on the date in early interviews.

ETA:
Her last communication was on the afternoon of May 9 when she texted a smiling photo of herself sunbathing to Jeff Libler, a Michigan man she had been having an affair with.

This honest remark by the lover indicates to me how easy it was for him to possibly risk most everything, all of his earthly belongings he had accumulated, in order to be with the love of his life, who was Suzanne Moorman.

Merci for locating the proof, Cindizzi, so now everyone knows her lover felt strong feelings for Suzanne since he was a teenager. They met at a party given at her home when Barry wasn't there. They hooked up.

Fast forward to May of 2020, I personally feel, they would have eventually "hooked up" again as their love seemed deep, long lasting, intimate and that this would have happened for Suzanne if Barry had been civil instead of being a murderer.

I don’t think he was committed or wiling to leave his wife or job. He did not assist with the investigation in the critical early stages. In my opinion he was both a cheat and a coward. The only reputation he was interested in saving was his own.

Does the smart dryer remind him to empty the lint trap? :)
I just used one at a home that does. If the lint trap has something heavy on it sometimes it falls back into the machine and probably blows into the vent. Like when a rubber backed rug falls apart and you pull the trap out, I've had that rubber fall back inside the vent hole if I'm not careful/quick enough. moo

JMO but this could be a storyline by Barry....Suzanne was having trouble with the brake(s) on her bike locking up, she probably just got so fed up with it that she threw her bike into the ravine and stormed off. She was so angry she didn't realize that she was still wearing her helmet and ripped it off and tossed it further down the road on her way out of town on foot.
There's wheel locks so your wheel doesn't get stolen. Sounds like she had on on there. I guess if you transport it and stopped in your car it could be an easy target for thieves. moo

Reading NoSi’s notes on Day 2 again: Are there bobcat rentals in Broomfield? Why would Barry not take his bobcat-gas mileage, too far to haul, local Bobcat availability? It was said in court that a bobcat would be required for the wall fix. He did not expect his workers to haul the bobcat. Even if he wanted to say that he skirted the rules just a little bit by doing a few minutes of Sunday work on the wall in preparation, how did he expect to complete the job? What made him think he didn’t need to bring the bobcat to make his alibi plausible?
Could he have taken it, left it in the woods somewhere and picked it up upon his return? Just thinking.

Assuming this was a mountain bike of recent vintage, I believe it would have either disc brakes or V brakes. You can use devices to lock wheels in place, but that would be a pretty difficult thing to overlook, says me. When moving a bicycle, at some point both wheels usually hit the ground. A locked wheel would be obvious. (NB. You can carry a bike or roll it on just the rear wheel, but I think this is unusual.) But given that BM asked if the bike "flipped", he may know that if the front wheel locks when you're moving fast, the physics of the situation result in the rear of the bike flipping over the front. Thus, someone trying to stage a scene may have adjusted a caliper or brake cable so that the wheel would lock up. Or it may have happened on impact from being thrown. It can be really simple to move brake pads to allow free spinning of a wheel. Anyhow, we don't have enough information at this time to know how it was locked. Let's see what we find out in the next few days.........
If SM went on rides with her car the bike may have been on her car. BM being a brute in a rush may have taken it off her car and picked it up to throw into the truck bed as he was in a hurry. He probably didn't have a clue the lock was on. moo

By saying he carried a "torch" since high school, all he managed to do, was solidify to his wife, mother of his 6 children ..that he settled for her, it wasn't some crazy mid life crisis or time of confusion/mistakes, which may have been worked through. Nah...I settled for you. WHAT A JERK!

Ok, All... Here is full write up for Day 2. Afternoon of Day 2 was very confusing... Some things that I wrote down didn't make any sense.

Thank you @MassGuy for reading through it and fixing some things prior to me posting it. I really appreciate it!

Well, here it goes... Again, very hopeful that the link works.

Good Night All... Don't let the mountain lions, bobcats, elk, turkeys, and chipmunks bite! Lots and lots of different animals in BMs story... ;)

Safe. Contents?
Was safe was encased in concrete? Sunk in floor? Did LE use a forklift remove safe from garage? A biiig, heavy safe? Or was safe so lightweight, a dude w strong back lifted it into evidence van? Did an evd tech open it w a bobby pin or use TNT? j/k, on that.

What was in safe?
Guns? A few, sure.
$ 70,000? IDTS, doubtful.
Enough money for a Moonlight Pizza? Yes, almost, if no premium toppings.

What else?
SM's wedding ring? Other jewelry?
Business records?
Info BM viewed as evd of SM's marital infidelity or other "wrongdoing?"
Tranq darts & poison/meds to fill them? After using one dart, and disposing of other three darts in package & wrapping on BM's trash run, were other darts & med in safe, unused? my2ct.

From page 1 of :)NOSi's terrific notes :)(TYVM):) from PH, day 2:
"# Discussion that BM and SM liked to pay for things in cash. BM reportedly had a safe in the garage at PP, which was searched by LE. It contained firearms and supposedly cash. When it was returned to BM after LE completed what they needed to do, BM stated that $ 70k are missing." bbm
