What's with the AlAnon book? Was SM an alcoholic? Someone else in the fam? This might explain BM's thoughts and concerns about meds that SM was taking.

The broken door, the shell casing and the fireplace stuff is a problem for bM.

Al Anon is a support group for families and friends affected by alcoholism. The alcoholic is their qualifier.
