He actually said it was kind of behind a trash can near the toilet, yes. First i've heard of the pillow.

I am a tad concerned with how many opportunities LE had to investigate and didn't. Didn't ask if the room had been cleaned? Didn't check the coffee? Didn't investigate the sleeping bag? WHY the hector not?
These might be things that others investigated. The individual on the stand is not boxing himself into a corner on things that he had nothing to do with. If he wasn’t the one doing that work, he can’t testify to it.

<snipped & BBM from above>

Police have been going over Suzanne's final days, telling the court how she got pizza at Moonlight Pizza and Brew Pub in Salida on May 8 and spent the morning of May 6 having coffee with neighbor JR.

Ritter, who placed the call to police after Suzanne's daughters raised the alarm, told the FBI that the mom-of-two had seemed 'energetic and excited' during their two-hour chat.

I wonder how much and what Suzanne shared with the neighbor? Maybe she told her of their split, 2 hours is a long time.

Perhaps that is one of the reasons LE focused on him right away.
That’s just priceless! If Suzanne shared this information with JR, Barry doesn’t know she did and then he thinks he’s being oh SO clever to work it so JR is left to contact police. You gotta love serendipity! Oh Barry :p:rolleyes:.

they found insurance documents under the pillow?
Where was the pillow? It seems strange that others would look under a pillow unless they were moving the pillow or had reason to be suspicious of something.
Pillow stuffed in trash can. So the paper was under the pillow in trash can.

Correction: The employee who stayed in that hotel room didn't say it smelled like chlorine. Another of Morphew's employees who entered that room told that to investigators.

BBM - I wonder what is meant by this
Me too! Who? left SM? Left MG?
Is BM going to state, via attorneys that SM must have taken that precious towel with her, when she left?
Pleased she sent her photos.:)
Oh, I forgot.
She went on a bike ride, and besides this precious towel, her glasses etc were also left. ;)
Poor SM just forgets things.
BM you're going down deeper and deeper.:D:D
So pleased, as his money is running out via his attorneys.:)

Although it would seem accurate, we don't know about the money. We actually don't know what or IF they are charging. We don't know if they contacted BM or the other way around. Pro Bono? Good press? Who knows. They certainly have created some doubt.

CBI sent an email to the hotel on May 12 to preserve all surveillance videos. They picked up the thumb drive. Agents also got the logs of who was coming and going into the hotel. Agent Coback doesn't have information if the hotel room was swabbed for #SuzanneMorphew DNA.

That looks like a good play to frame Jeff Puckett. Same room as BM with papers shoved under a pillow.

Good thought, but why would someone other than BM have any interest in an insurance document?

Well, now... That's about as evasive as answers come! It makes me think maybe there really was something going on between them at some point. It certainly hasn't been excluded yet based on this response.

MOO.

This coworker was confronted about her relationship with #BarryMorphew, asked if they had an affair. Coworker said she respected Barry as a boss and that he never did anything to make her feel uncomfortable.

BBM - I wonder what is meant by this
I'm guessing that it means Morgan was not surprised that Barry just left her in Chaffee county and drove himself up to Broomfield without her.

Broomfield Holiday Inn: She had told the investigators when they opened the door to room 225 they were overcome by the smell, saw wet towels on the floor in the bathroom. Also an insurance document under a pillow that had been trashed.

I hope you are correct. Hope is not a strategy though..

Uh oh Chlorine bomb coming ...

Another CBI agent went back to the hotel on Sept. 1, 2020 to take photographs after media attention about the chlorine smell in #BarryMorphew room. Eytan found an email from the hotel manager saying that room is above the pool area and still smells like chlorine 4 months later.
