It would be nice to hear from the daughters if the door was like that before they went camping ?
I think it happened close to when she sent the text to her sister....

Thank you! That makes more sense. I copied all the tweets, but haven't had a chance to really read them yet. If you need the lists of tweets from yesterday, I posted them (across 3 messages) I the media thread.
Those recaps are great, thank you btw.

Not possible. They moved to CO in the spring of 2018, SM first contacted JL in September of 2018 when she sent him a facebook message saying "howdy stranger".
Didn’t Suzanne's sister hint that BM had cheated on Suzanne in Indiana? And that moving to CO was a way for them to start fresh and be close to Mallory at the same time?
If so, could it be that Suzanne couldn’t let go of the betrayal and control from BM and that is why she felt the need to contact an old high school flame (JL) in September after they moved to CO? She sounded very lonely to me, probably wanting to flirt more than anything. A lot of romances start online.
I don’t see her as planning to do this but a lonely person reaching out to someone to understand her hurt and pain. I just wish JL had been a friend but stayed faithful to his wife and six children.
In the end though, if I were a juror, I see BM as killing Suzanne out of financial and ego issues. Not because of the affair. And either way, he is guilty.
I hope his daughters realize just how bad he is. :(

Related to your post, my question is: What did Barry feel he needed immunity from? If he is completely innocent, shouldn't his life be an open book without an immunity deal? Sounds like he had a guilty conscience to me.
He was just fishing like his defense attorneys. If he had lawyered up sooner, he would have looked guiltier but probably wouldn't be charged with Murder 1. Since his actions fit a capital murder charge, maybe it was better he didn't. Then we wouldn't know was much as we do. We have a presumptive right under CO law as of March 2021 to read the AA. If the judge will correct that wrong, I'll bet we can all rest assured no defense attorney technique will void the truth.

everyone appreciates you @NoSI - I'm hoping we find out why this AA was sealed today because so far I am just not seeing it.

Rumor here is "big" revelations today... Makes sense. I so so so hope so.

Can anyone remind me who Agent Harris is or role? TIA

Wasn't that damaged door the outside door of MBR, or was it inside? I thought it was outside, could be wrong. It occurred to me that the door could have been damaged by either Barry, forcing his way into the room...or, by a groggy, loopy Suzanne desperately trying to get away from Barry...could have simply ran into the door...unable to open it because her muscle control was gone...just speculation.
I thought the testimony was the door frame damage was significant and consistent with being kicked in from outside the bedroom. IIRC

If it's 0utside of the room, it sounds like a piece of furniture hit it, shoved against it.
Hmmm. Sounds like an angry act of domestic violence to me.

It would be interesting to see if BM was googling JL or stalking his face book, once he found out about the affair. I can just imagine he was fuming even with SM being dead.

MOO
IMO that is the MAIN reason he hired a private investigator. He can say it was to look into his wife’s disappearance but I’m sure it was to suss out his wife’s lover. I’ve seen it mentioned that PI has been at these PH as well.

Hope it’s ok to post this, it’s the only thing I’ve seen about the phone charger. <mod updated with an approved link>

Suzanne's cell phone was not found in the investigation. Her phone charger was not at the home either which would have been at her bedside.
Oops....when she was abducted or did the Gone Girl....she was lucky enough to have her charger in tow with her? How convenient.

NoSi, thank you sooo much for doing this for all of us. Your notes have been wonderful. We appreciate you!

I am hoping that today the prosecution will interview one of the individuals whom B.M. allegedly tried to "influence" during the investigation.

This could be very important for the Judge to hear.

Ken Harris is up first. Will this be more of the LE interviews with the husband I wonder?
ETA:
Denver based Special Agent. He was on the stand on Day 1 and 2.
Thanks @Cindizzi

The Judge previously stated that the AA will be unsealed one week from today (the last day of the preliminary hearing).

We'll have a lot to read next week!

thats what I was looking for...the type of damage...that would pretty much rule out someone running into to while being chased. "forced entry" because it was locked from the inside at the time.

@LaurenScharfTV

Agent Grusing said it appeared that on Saturday, May 9, 2020, that something either happened to Suzanne or her phone. #BarryMorphew agreed and asked is there any sign of anyone getting into the home? "No."

Somebody asked about this tweet earlier. Interesting.

I agree - was thinking about this, last night. Just seems like there would be more evidence if this was a crime of passion that was planned and carried out in the span of a few days. If he was trolling for hook ups, then he wasn't dealing with any religious concerns over what SM was doing.
Well he was definitely looking for a “cute girl in Salida”. Maybe in his sick mind, one night stands or viewing 🤬🤬🤬🤬 was fine but an affair was not. All the same in my mind. Just get a divorce. Don’t make up bs excuses.
