How the body of a Colorado woman missing for 7 years was found just steps from her home

After Terri Ackerman went missing, police searched around the home and neighborhoods with drones and dogs, followed up on leads and reviewed surveillance footage, but never found her.

Coroner unable to determine cause of death for woman who went missing in 2018

Terri Ackerman, 56, was last seen in 2018. Her remains were found in September inside a residential garage at her Lochbuie home.
