they may let him off easy because they know the deal and word is he's getting stuck on something thats coming up. In my mind there can't be any world where this man gets out into society again.

sexual predator and

he is now a known public danger and a menace.

of course psychiatrists will come and say the man needs medication.

but i don't buy it, he is organized, he has a camel for his gun, as was here mentioned earlier , he has his hatchet ( he doesn't just grab the nearest stick or rock). he can parade pictures of himself as the protective father of young daughters.

let's go ahead and be cynical shall we..? He calmly keys a car , we watch him on film..he controls the money, KN's phone access, she has a car and she can drive him..she is his sugar magnolia per se, he is in control of KN...she works..the money goes in his pocket... so who is to blame the bills are not paid and they are out on the street?

KN may be someone with her own character flaws or issues. She may also be somewhat of a troubled person. But one thing is certain, she is terrified of him. She's terrified and maybe even part of all of this, perhaps she does what ever he tells her to do. He has strangled her, punched her in the face, crushed bones..he has taken the hatchet to their apartment when they were trying to get a start,

she could be lying about a lot of things because she was lead down his path, she became a part. .. she will not be understood...he won't tell on her, she wont tell on him..

she numbed herself to things he did..like every abuser he promised it would never happen again. It's what they do..

and then you love them so fiercely and you know you will never see each

other again if you say the words.

someone knows the story of Libby and Abigail

someone knows the story of TW

someone who could ask for immunity, ask for help, counseling, someone could take charge of their soul and become a full person by telling the truth and changing the lives of so many people.

someone with great courage

Per info I've gathered from the search party:
Bike found: "In Limbaugh canyon. It was a good 20 feet up off the trail with a flat tire and covered in leaves."

Shoe found:
"3 miles from Mt Herman gate."

Safeway card:
"Quick update- his Safeway card was found .5 miles west of his shoe."

There used to be a post on ND with gps coordinates, and it's there still but archived. Anyone know how to unarchive ND posts?

Oh! This is interesting! So, his bike was attempted to be hidden in leaves too? Plus TW was hidden in leaves? So, the perp must have murdered TW, covered him in leaves and twigs to hide him, then either gone back to the bike and covered it in leaves or taken the bike somewhere else and covered it in leaves. This would take a little bit of time I would think.

Thank you for saying this. It's getting more obvious imo. Great post!

Why would a killer want to return to a dead body and risk being caught?

There could be many reasons. We do know that DN was driving around the search area tho. There is a picture of it from another searcher.
Some murderers have gone back to move the body, change the scene, pleasure themselves, help in the search, re leaf, admire their work, etc. But sometimes they do go back for whatever reason compels them.
You and I, we have better reasoning. We wouldn't risk being caught to return to a dead body we had murdered. We probably wouldn't have murdered in the first place.
KN stated that DN lost all reasoning in CO.

Safeway card certainly sounds like he was robbed even if his wallet was left in him it's contents must have been taken. Or perhaps a bag he had on himself or on the bike was taken. Or maybe a jacket.

What I think will happen is different from what I want to happen. Judging by the speed and progress made so far, my guess will be that literally nothing will happen other than DN pleading on the charges currently at hand.

I just wonder if he is pleading guilty to the minors in exchange for the possession of a weapon by a felon charge being dropped. If I were an attorney, that's what I would ask for. Meaning there will be less than 1 year served as far as CO goes.

I think if he is ever charged with anything else, it still won't come this week.

Let's face it. Every time DN goes to court, it seems each judge lets him off easy. He must have a really sad look on his face in court. Not the same guy who walks out of the courtroom and flicks off cameras.

Do you think the possession charge is more serious than the menacing ? If they already know or even suspect the .22 is the murder weapon they won't let him drop that one surely?

The hatchet was being used as a weapon in this case so that might be also part of the possession charge, as well as menacing. Also, if they know his (KN's) 22 was the murder weapon I would think the possession charge won't be dropped in a plea bargain. But the judge can only address the charges before him. In this particular situation it's kinda scary. No not kinda ! Super scary!

Yes, 100%. A felon in possession of a gun is way more serious and yields federal time. There is a 2 year minimum. The others are just felonies and misdemeanors that can all yield probation or time served.

Then again, menacing becomes much more serious if a weapon is used. Since those records are sealed, I don't know if they are charging the hatchet as a weapon in this case.

Haven't heard back from them.

So, I just looked on El Paso docket. Looks like 3 case #'s being heard for disposition hearings tomorrow for DN. What are the charges being heard for tomorrow? Menacing? Weapon(s)? Failure to register? The last one on the docket looks like a misdemeanor tho so what is that? Maybe the assault? Trespassing? Looks like those have misdemeanor charges.

I was wrong.I had only pulled it for El Paso. Here is the correct and full docket. 4 case #'s are being heard tomorrow, 3 for El Paso, 1 for Teller.

He actually has 5 cases scheduled for tomorrow . 3 for El Paso county charges, and 2 for Teller County. All are being heard in the same Courthouse. He then has one on Thursday in Teller County, along with Charges against KN on 1/4, and then the Cleercreek charges on 1/10. He's a busy boy!

If u go on a thread, then go to ThreadTools, choose Subscribe To Thread, then next time you come back to Websleuths you can just click on Quick Links along the menu bar, a drop down menu shows up, then choose Subscribed Threads! I find this easy way to get to my current thread AND past threads I subscribed to show up right there also.
