yeah like if he rode through somewhere where someone was just shooting off a gun, they could tell in the autopsy. would be different pattern..I mean they can tell trajectories right? so different then say if he was shot in the head from 6 feet away and then shot in the chest from say 3 feet away..wether the target was moving and which way etc. but we don't know where he was shot if he was shot on his bike or if he was off his bike and standing still or what was happening before he was shot.

how long had DN been there in CO before he was arrested? was it long enough to start a grow?

one thought I had..even though I'm not so sure there is pot involved..

that his behavior is inexplicable so you really can struggle to find a possible reason for running around like lil abner on a rampage ...

He got to Co in May so plenty of time to grow. I cannot believe they wouldn't grow some - perfect timing getting there in May - maybe even time for two or more grows 6-20 plants each. He probably got to know people who knew his brother and wife etc.

The 'pot rush' article I mentioned and linked above has an example of someone living out of an RV and having a home grow so I don't think this is as speculative as people are suggesting. His brother was dead so why did he go to Co ?

Also @Find Hg what do you mean "forwarded to Tricia" . What did you forward? I don't follow you.

Possibly DN's dead bro's girlfriend was in touch with the N's at time of bro's death and after. She may have been keeping them abreast of bro's killer's legal proceedings in CO AND, in getting to know them, possibly urging them to (once the baby was born, of course) give CO a try?

Hi mz. TW wasn't found for three days. DN wasn't arrested for 11 days. Any plants could easily have been harvested or moved as well as the body. Also, what investigation?
You questioned about an accidental shooting and I was thinking of target shooting that could have caused it and the body being hidden out of guilt and not wanting to go to jail. :cow:

I'm just not going for the pot growing angle as far as DN.

IMHO It’s more than KN expressing DNs likeness to BG and the sketch.
Ex employers and others think he resembles the sketch - employer said voice very similar, another said DN walks like the BG still - TW May have just made DN mad on the road -

ML may be key - she has not been found - had friends, was searched for - Still not found. That’s a female leaving a car at a trail head —IMO actually on the face of it, more similar to A&L than TW.

He would have enough time. However, it just seems too difficult to plant 6-20 plants on Mt Herman. Pot plants need direct sunlight. That’s non negotiable, and they’ll die without it. If they were in a place of direct sunlight, they’d be found on MTH IMO. They also need tons of dirt (not the rocky dirt on the mountain), fertilizer, pest control, and up to ten gallons of water per plant per day. How would someone carry or drive (assuming 10 plants) 100 gallons of water per day to a well lit part of MTH?

I'm just trying to work out a motive for TW's murder. (Let alone A&L).

We must also keep in mind that IF DN has anything to do with Tim W's murder there is likely NOT any *reasonable* motive because at times DN (as shown by his history, his compulsions, his loss of control) does not act rationally.

I mean IF DN is involved here in TW's case (???) his *motivation*(s) are more likely something such as anger over having shown himself to a woman who was discovered to in fact be a man (TW's long hair may have been mistaken as female from a distance) ... or irritation with TW a biker he perceived as being in his way ... and of course he may have had some kind of interaction with TW early on in TW's trek, became incensed at TW for some reason and drove up behind him instigating a fight.

If in the car at that time, I wonder if he was driving or a passenger ...

IF this was DN wielding a hatchet I wonder if he jumped out from the side of trail, started attacking, found TW to be stronger than he had anticipated so had to finish him off with the gun after first maiming him (and possibly cutting into his bike tire which would seem an attractive target to someone wanting to slow TW down quickly, IMO.)

So many IFs here ... so many questions ...

Though CO is now becoming known for attracting those who like to smoke weed and likely offers many jobs in relation to that industry, I'm thinking that in TW's case here marijuana does not play any part (other than perhaps his killer being under the influence).

I think DN went to CO to: leave his IN issues behind him (as it would, at least temporarily) ... to see his brother's killer put away ... and possibly at the behest of his brother's girlfriend to check out the Colorado scene (weedwise, trailwise, etc).

All speculation on my part as we await DN's return to Indiana and whatever comes of it.

Where are Tim Watkins' many friends? If we use his full name might they be more likely to come across our online speculations here? Are they lurking? I wish some would chime in here, as they may know things.

The gag order was in Colorado only I think. I don't think there is one in effect in Indiana but I am just speculating.

I think that the first one is where they were to release him (sentenced served) and the second one is where they are holding him for pick up on the warrant. The reference numbers are different. That's all I can think of. The note to "contact facility" would probably further explain but I'm just guessing here.

Daniel Nations, person of interest in Delphi murders, arrested in Johnson County

Nations was wanted on a warrant out of Johnson County for failing to register as a sex offender. He’s since been booked into the county jail on that charge. Sheriff Doug Cox says he does not know when Nations’ first court date will be in connection with the latest charge.
