No matter what kind of decapitation it was awful to watch. I fear it's the old fashioned kind here. We will most probably never know the full medical details.

I hope you don't think I was attacking you for your thoughts.:blowkiss: I am just REALLY upset that this happened. I want young people to WAKE THE FREAK UP! I have two young adults...23 and 25. I see A LOT of this kind of attitude...the rules don't apply to me...I am superman...type of mentality from them and their friends. It SCARES me and it makes me worry, along with ANGRY!!! Sorry if I seemed to have jumped on you. HUGS dear friend!!:blowkiss:
I know...I used to swim at the sand pits. SO dangerous. My mother told me NOT to do it. I did anyway. :bang:Hey lady But think back when we were that age. WE to thought we were Superman.I know I took my share if chances, But would never climb a fence to get a hat back.
JDB, the reports say he and a friend were re-entering the park over those fences as a shortcut. Just FYI.
Hey barbed wire or electric fence would most probably work here. A slight shock may have saved that boys life.
Oh...NO KIDDING. See *rant written by deanws about personal responsibility...Post 60 & 69*I am just waiting for the lawsuit.
I will lose all respect for this family if they pull that crap.
Oh...NO KIDDING. See *rant written by deanws about personal responsibility...Post 60 & 69*Let's hope they DON'T file a lawsuit. I DO think that SF should pay for the medical bills of the 14 year old victim of this accident that is currently in the hospital.
Oh, thank you for correcting my mistake. I guess I read the article wrong. Yes, I remember the girl's feet getting cut off.No, the 14 year old victim who hurt her leg was from an earlier accident in 2002. I'm personally kind of dumbstruck by this boy's actions, but God knows I did some *stupid* stuff as a teenager. (Maybe not THAT stupid, but I digress...) Needless to say, it's not really the park's responsibility and I hope his parents don't sue.
On the other hand, I really do feel sorry for the girl who was hurt at Kentucky Kingdom last year and that WAS the park's fault. After reading some articles about her, I almost cried--what an awful thing for a young person to go through. The SF officials said that she would be taken care of for the rest of her life, and I certainly hope that's true.

Yes, I misread. :blowkiss:I think you're reading about a 14yo from an accident in 2002 ---
snip from article link above
..... A 58-year-old park worker, Samuel Milton Guyton of Atlanta, was killed May 26, 2002. Guyton was in a restricted area on a platform when he was kicked in the head by 14-year-old girl on the front car of the ride. The girl was hospitalized with a leg injury.......
But, for the record, I believe that, yes, they would have paid for her medical costs. That is what their liabliity insurance should be used for.Yes, I misread. :blowkiss:
