It's not just a SINGLE flip-flop that makes this a LOGICAL place to search.

It's highly unlikely they can prove the owner of a single flip-flop because the mate probably is long gone.

It's the TOTALITY of the reasons CocoaMom even zeroed in on this area..... starting with the PINGS.


If LE picked out a couple of areas to search ONLY because of the pings & little more, then I think they NEED to take a look at the reasoning here.

Pings, water, woods, playground, ease of moving around without being questioned, parking lot, potential buildings (shed?) to leave a drugged child while you party.... OR a place she's been where she knows she can dump a body.

We KNOW Casey had a lot of hours to kill waiting for her friends to get home from school or their jobs.... it's likely she'd not be anxious to be caught walking around with Caylee when she's supposed to be at HER job & her daughter is supposedly with some make-believe nanny.... she'd afraid she might run into someone who might tell her family they saw the two girls.... Casey would want a 'safe' place where they can wait until it's safe to go back to the house.

Oh, I agree, the flip flop is the least of the reasons to search this area. ITA agree with all you stated above.:blowkiss:

I looked everywhere for security cameras - no there weren't any that I could find. I didn't see any German Shepards peeing or any dogs for that matter! LOL

This theory makes sense if the church was something close to her heart...kc's not your average young christian woman though, KWIM? My guess is that entering a church would make her go into panic mode.
And would she really dispose of a body with God watching? I dunno. I kinda figure that KC knew she had pulled the wool over so many peoples eyes, but she couldnt expect to do the same with God. To do it in his house?....I'm just not sure about this.
Sociopaths seem to have no concern about being judged by people, but they do fear death and the judgement of God.
The other thing is that there is a school on the property, (if i'm looking at the right map). With all those young kids playing, and exploring they could be the ones to discover the skeletal remains....its pretty risky. Kids are always digging things up .
If this is the spot she left caylee, its more reason to loathe her.

Is it an 'always open' church? Does the head of the church reside on the property?
Anyone local want to go hang out in the church carpark overnight, to see if she could have pulled this off? I bet someone will, too, lol.

The Anthonys used to attend East Orlando Baptist Church which is on Curry Ford Road close to their house. I know this to be true as a friend of mine recognized Cindy and George when this case first hit the news. He is very involved in this church and told me how shocked he was to see them on the news. Although he is very active in the church, he didn't know them well, but had often seen Cindy and George there on Sundays. He told me that he wasn't sure if he had ever seen Casey there.

Now, the church where the vigil was held this weekend was a different church - Eastside Baptist Church which is several miles further from their house. I know Eastside Baptist Church because it is near my house and I have attended services there because my son used to go to there when he was younger. Both are wonderful churches.

I was not thinking about it at all when I was there but by the time the little girl grabbed my hand, I was spookin' out! When I walked in that Hawk's Hollow, my knees went weak. The closer I got to that wooden "stage", the more I felt - I don't know - "pulled"?? I kicked at every board all the way across to see if loose, no. Peeked between the cracks of some, got really scared in waves. Almost wished someone would walk in on me and ask what I was doing. As I left the Hawk's Hollow, totally normal everyday feeling came back.

I felt the same way when my husband and I were out joyriding one day and ended up on the road that they found Taylor Behl near... didn't even realize at the time, until we were at the end of the road and read the sign... my husband and I got the same feeling... it was creepy to say the least!

I can be led to believe a church would be a possible dump site. Strange as it may seem, I think a piece of Casey felt guilt for what she had done and may have tried to "make things right" by putting Caylee in a "proper place". Some of the things she did following the murder and her arrest point to little ways in which she was memorializing Caylee.

The most likely church location would be one she is familiar with and believed she would come back to periodically. If the Anthony's belonged to a church, that would be where I would start. How about Rev. Grund's church? Did AL belong to a church? Did anyone belong to this church?

Let's be careful with the pings. The area in question is covered by three cell towers. And Tony's is covered by the same three. The church and Tony's would also produce the same CID (basically direction ID). We cannot determine where she specifically was in that area with the information available.

If KC did leave the body at this particular location I highly doubt it would have been in the pond. I say this for two reasons. First, she has much more control over concealment if she hides it in the brush. There is not a lot of control when one just throws something in the water. Second, if she bothered to leave the body at a church due to some level of guilt, the act of throwing it into the water doesn't fit. I can more easily believe she would go into the woods / brush and hide it.

Lastly, I really don't think the Anthony's know where KC hid Caylee, so I don't think anyone needs to worry about evidence tampering tonight.

Well we can rule out Casey as being in the area for Tony if he was out of town. And the possible evidence tampering talk was about the flip flops, not necessarily a body.

It has been speculated that the As read here and if by some stretch they know the flip flop IS evidence, well then you connect the dots.

I just wanted to say that I followed the Dream Thread very closely. Not the Psychic one, the other one -- I think it is named "have you had dreams about Caylee". The recurring themes that I recall from that thread are:

Round water
The color blue
Plugged drains, dirty water
A grid pattern, or seeing Caylee through a grid
Pipes

I think your theory is highly plausible! Thanks so much for the photos!

I think someone referred to that house as Ovieda....there are several pics of that BBQ or party that day....another one of Caylee playing with another little girl and Casey watching her.

Who was it? What church???

I can imagine her now "they'll NEVER look HERE"....just like, "HA, I'm wearing the shirt and sunglasses from Target I bought with Amy's stolen checkbook and they are filming and don't even know! I have power!" or how about "I'll wear a rosary as a necklace when I go to jail so all the world sees and doesn't even realize it's a huge clue!" or "I'll buy a silver cross at JC Penneys and think of Caylee and where she's dumped every time I wear it or get complimented on it." Sure mom, your card bought the cross, you can have it to wear on camera- smirk"...

If Casey was raised Baptist why would she now be sporting a rosary? I was raised Baptist and IIRC our preacher said a couple of time Catholics shouldn't expect to go to heaven when they die...FWIW

Now that i've looked at all of your pics, I see what you mean. Thanks for putting in so much time and effort to help us get a better understanding of the area. Maps just dont do the same job.
