So I guess that would mean this triangle antenna thingy would have to be 180 degrees reversed from normal for her to ping this tower from the church? Is that even possible that the position of the antenna could be that off? Getting depressed here...I am seeing 2 as the CID on these pings so Southwest of the tower right?

okay somewhat true. Radio signals or frequencies are not necessarily line of sight. The fact the cell towers have directional antennas is to provide 'signal power' to the handsets in 'all directions'. You dont have to be line of sight. the topology of the area plays a big part. Think of dropping a stone in a pond ... see how the waves mitigage outward? Radio signals do the same thing and if there is an obstruction then the signal is degraded. These antenna systems are classified as Omnidirectional Antennas - or Isotropic Radiators In laymans terms this means the signal is transmitted in all directions at the same plane for best effort reception. Typically these systems have a range of 2.5 miles without obstruction. If you look at the towers deployed in the Orlando area you will see the primary Antenna serving Blanchard Park from a power perspective is the one on the east end of the park. This antenna was the one used in the 12:07am to 2:00 am time frame. Go figure.

Is this river in BP in any way connected to an area
near this church? I noticed in the pix there was a
culvert. Just wondered if there was water that
emptied into the river in the park. I'm not really
good at following on the areial map. TIA,

Yes, the water you see running through the culvert is actually part of that same Econ river that runs the length of the 8 mile Blanchard Park. I just don't understand why all of the searches keep leaning so much towards the East side - the West has barely been searched! As you drive out of the church and turn right/South on Goldenrod, the water runs under Goldenrod straight into Blanchard. There are other tributaries that dump in too but under Goldenrod Road and into the park is where it goes.

OK, I'm getting it now. But the tower that pinged was the one way West of the YMCA, not the one on the East side. So if she was on the East side near the search area and the Y, would she ping the far WEST tower even though another tower is closer to the actual phone? Maybe yes if the East tower was owned by another company?

No the tower providing service from 12:07am to 2:00 am on July 1 is more South and slightly East of the YMCA located in Blanchard Park where they are searching now. It is just north of Colonial and East of Culver Rd. This tower is less than 1/2 mile from the dive area. I can assure you that 90% or greater of all calls made in Blanchard Park hit this tower.

Yes there is a Bella Vita Blvd in east Orlando. Back in early August we did a thread about this but way before we had all the cell phone pings on a map. I can tell you this and Ive covered this since Day 1 .. something happened the night of 6-30 into the early morning hours of 7-1. There were cell pings off the tower that serves Blanchard Park YMCA area from 12:07am to 2:00 am then those pings moved east to an area that has Bella Vita Blvd. Pings from towers that surround Bella Vita Blvd occured from 2:00 am to 10:00 am on July 1 (approx). Remember this is the night that TonY L was out of town for the first night as KC was texting and calling him during these late night hours. KC was definitely not near the Tony L apartment. Worth noting is the pings in the Bella Vita Blvd area only happened on the early morning hours of 7-1 and never again. This area is full of new construction - nice big homes - private community. KC did the tatoo Bella Vita either on July 2 or July 3 depending on how you interpret the cell pings. So I ask again .. isnt it strange that KC pinged off the primary tower serving Blanchard Park YMCA area from 12am - 2am then moved east from 2am to 10 am in an area that had Bella Vita Blvd surrounded by cell towers? No sleep that night ... first night away from Tony L .. in a Jeep not a Sunfire ... why didnt she just stay at Tony L apartment? this is the timeframe of interest and why LP is at the river search now ... LP gets it where most dont.

I have a theory of my own here... it's a little far out there but then again, so is EVERYTHING involving this case...

I think Casey was involved in some sort of drug ring or prostitution ring and got in some trouble with the boss or leader of this ring... I feel like she probably owed alot of debt to someone and that along the way her child paid the price for what she had done...
she won't talk and tell the truth cause she's done illegal acts and she doesn't want to give anyone up in fear of retaliation.
-somewhat similar to that case in Nevada where the little boy was kidnapped because his grandpa had stolen money from a drug cartel...

far fetched... but to me there just has to be something else involved here...

I searched with TES right by the YMCA on Saturday and was sure to be observant of these things. The entrance to the park and the YMCA is off of Rouse Rd. You can see it on most maps. There is a gate and sign said it is locked at dark. Yes, you can walk around it but it is quite a hike to anywhere and you would have to leave your car on that two lane road with no parking.

There are 2 towers that ping Blanchard Park, one on this East side by the YMCA (would ping this tower for where LP is searching), and one on the West side about .5 miles Southwest of the church. This Western tower would also ping the West side of Blanchard. I am going on my assumption that cell companies wouldn't spend big $$ and lease fees for land they put towers on only to have them overlap each other everywhere.

The idea is to make money off of other companies needing to use your tower. The more towers, the less money and the more spent on leasing the land they are on. I have one down the road from me and the land owner gets a HEFTY monthly check! Also, start looking at them in your day to day travels, you will notice smaller towers in populated areas and larger towers in remote areas. I called ATT and they told me that smaller ones have shorter ranges than the bigger ones but I don't know how reliable that info is. Still researching that.

Sounds like a great time to be there :} Whos to say KC didnt go in before the gates closed and stayed? Also could access via the neighborhoods to the south. If you were to want to dispose of a body you would go during a time like this instead of a time when everyone else could get in .... right?

David918, I can't find this Bella Vida Blvd on the mapquest, Google Earth, or maps.live.com - do you have a link to a map? I tried Vita diff. spelling too...there are Bella Vida's with both spellings 2 in Brevard County, 1 in Volusia county and it's the name of a day spa too. Also in South Orlando a subdivision, model home name, Kissimmee condos, yikes!

IMO ... KC was disposing of CL in the river where LP is now searching. LP divers may not find it but LP is spot on here. If you just take out the emotion of this whole deal and follow the "out of normal" activities you will get it. Why else would KC be in the BP area from 12am to 2am? The events of this night were not documented prior and not documented after. KC acted out on this night ... it makes perfect sense if you look at it considering the events of the last 2 days. I appreciate the sleuthing taking place on this thread concerning the church theory but how can you overlook the fact KC was in the BP area "alone" 12am to 2am then moved east from 2am to 10am before going back to the area near TonyL apartment? The ping data supports this and the fact that the river in BP is so hot right now only makes it more possible.

The Blanchard Park area IS the church area...

Realized I didnt answer your question. So no the tower closest to Fusian is not the same tower that "could" service Bella Vida Blvd. The optimal tower for Bella Vida Blvd is located at or near Windmill Circle which is farther east from Fusian.

Are you sure this is the tower pinged on the East side? I used Georgia PI's ping map and the West tower is what that showed. What date are you talking about? Maybe I need to look at a diff. date ping map.

The Blanchard Park area IS the church area...

well sort of .. but the tower located near Amscot is much closer to service the church. Remember when a cell phone 'attaches' to a tower a 'power calculation' is performed to ensure the best possible signal. If you are more east in BP then you wouldnt 'choose' the tower closer to the church. The key point here is the tower 'chosen' from 12:07 to 2:00 am is the tower closest to the current dive area not the tower near Amscot that is closer to the Church.

Yes .. I mapped the tower lat and long for July 1 and is on google maps. You can find it in the sticky for July 1 pings. The tower that was pinged from 12:07 to 2 am is the one almost directly south and slightly east of the YMCA

Only other vehicle searched besides hers. I vote that she was looking for her missing car~~then went to the other Tony's or Fusion to sleep or whatever.

Also, for pings on this East tower - some thread addressed a business that Annie was part owner of with an address on Rouse Rd. When I mapped it, it was a house a couple of blocks South of the Blanchard East entrance - maybe she was hanging out with Annie for that couple hours? Just an idea...

I called three times and got Administrative Assitants. Left messages with two different ones (nothing specific, just to please call me at this number). Third time was told all day meeting of all Administrators and tomorrow would call me...

Maybe so ... we may never know. But yes you are right .. we know this ... the car was already impounded, KC had Tony L car, she was at or near BP from 12am to 2am, she didnt sleep all night, she was near Bella Vita Blvd and got the tatoo 2 days later.

Yes its about 3 or so miles S and E of Fusian ... If you drew a line between Fusian and Wedgefield you would find it. Go to maps.google.com and type in 815 Bella Vida Blvd. Orlando and you will see it.
