IMO ... KC was disposing of CL in the river where LP is now searching. LP divers may not find it but LP is spot on here. If you just take out the emotion of this whole deal and follow the "out of normal" activities you will get it. Why else would KC be in the BP area from 12am to 2am? The events of this night were not documented prior and not documented after. KC acted out on this night ... it makes perfect sense if you look at it considering the events of the last 2 days. I appreciate the sleuthing taking place on this thread concerning the church theory but how can you overlook the fact KC was in the BP area "alone" 12am to 2am then moved east from 2am to 10am before going back to the area near TonyL apartment? The ping data supports this and the fact that the river in BP is so hot right now only makes it more possible.

Quick thoughts... we can't rule out that Casey might have simply gone to BP to hold a 'memorial' for Caylee.... maybe the beads are evidence of that.

Caylee's body could have been dumped in some totally different location some other date & the pings trace all the places she wandered alone with her thoughts of what she did???? Places she & Caylee used to go, maybe.

And since it seems so totally reckless to visit a place near water in the dark.... maybe Casey even sub-consciously dared God to punish her by sending an alligator to attack her? A feeble suicide attempt? Would this explain why she's finding it so easy to keep quiet now.... she was already 'judged?' She clearly does NOT think the way any normal person would.... not insane... but far from normal.



Not many things seem impossible when it comes to understanding this whole wacky family, that's for sure.

Why so many gas cans? I think the gas cans were used filled with sand and used as weights.

But the gas cans were returned to George.

I always felt she took the cans was JUST for the gas. Possibly she was planning to drive a distance & didn't want to have to stop to buy gas or more likely because she had no money. lol

Burning a body is way too noticeable.. the smell & the fire... too risky.

Thanks for that! I was thinking that they were actually pretty close. Colonial HS is right behind Home Depot at Colonial and Semoran. Just take Colonial up to Goldenrod (2 lights) and then turn left. And its not too far down (I guess half a mile, according to your directions!) on the left side. It doesn't look like the church (or the surrounding neighborhoods) are zoned for Colonial, though. South of Colonial is, but the church is north of Colonial, so its in Winter Park HS's zone. Its still pretty close to the zone, though, so there very well could have been friends of hers that hung out back there.

The cell phone analysis was done using actual text and phone usage. The cell reports given to the public dont contain "locator" pings. Yes KC did have continuous text and phone calls from 12:07am to 2am on July 1 and those texts and calls were determined to use a tower located about 1/2 mile to the south and east of the Dive area. There are no other known friends houses or relatives houses or places of interest close to this tower.

I agree. There was a date, 6/24 or 6/27, when KC texted to Amy something to the effect "I got rid of the smell (in the car)." It has been theorized that she "disposed" of the body for good, i.e., the last time, just prior to sending this text message.

David 918, have you analyzed lapses of cell phone activity just prior to this "I got rid of the smell" text?

Maybe what happened July 1st, 12:00 - 2:00 am at BP was simply KC revisiting the scene of the crime one last time...

It is easier to remember that KC ran out of gas for a second and final time that we know of and the car was left at Amscot parking lot. Tony L came and picked her up and she had a few groceries remember? This is believed to happen on 6-27 and the car was towed on 6-30. Tony L was with KC until 6-30 when KC took him in his jeep to the airport. I doubt there was any activity by KC on 6-27 to 6-30 because she didnt have transportation of her own and was probably with Tony L the whole time. What may be of interest is to see what the phone and text activity was like between KC and Tony L during the 6-27 to 6-30 timeframe.

Im not sure the pings created by the phone when changing tower locations would be that critical. KC was on the phone almost every hour and sometimes almost every 15 minutes so if you just plot these known calls / texts out then you wont see that there is really room to move much farther ... KC pretty much stayed in a small area

Just to add to this, there was also that jogger that was murdered in BP on June 10th. After that happened, LE was patrolling that park pretty heavily to try to find the killer, who they suspect was a homeless person that lived back in the woods. They still haven't caught him. And, this was all over the news at that time, so I doubt she hadn't heard about it. So, with that in mind, it would be incredibly reckless for her to be in that park disposing of a body at night. The likelihood that she would've been caught by LE, or else attacked by the murderer should have been weighing in on her mind. Maybe it was and she just didn't care, or thought she was above being caught. Who knows?

The first "dead zone" was June 17 from 5:23 p.m. to 8:23 p.m. Anthony's phone pinged a tower close to her boyfriend's apartment near the University of Central Florida and then twice pinged a tower near Blanchard Park before going silent. The park was searched but nothing was found. In the time it took Anthony's phone to ping another tower -- three hours later -- she could have traveled as far away as Palm Bay or Ormond Beach and returned to Orange County.



This stood out for me, because I remembered the name Ormond Beach when I was googling about possible "Bella Vita" connections.


Do we know if Casey did any hunting for an apt. or condo.... could she have once considered anything near "Bella Vita Way" in Ormond Beach?

Does anyone know if there's a way to confirm what the ping range of a specific tower is? Whether it's a short range or long range tower ? As far as I've heard, that info is only available to the OSCO, and wasn't on the cell/text/ping reports that were released?

Lets see if i can explain this. The tower transmits and receives using frequencies. Radio waves are like dropping a stone in a pond. The wavelengths will go out only so far without any obstruction. Trees, tall buildings, topology all affect where you put towers. Ive been involved in building wireless networks and prior to building out a city or town we would do a lot of site survey work where signals are transmitted from a known location and power readings were taken to determine the range of a given tower. The equipment that transmits the signal all do so at the same power level. All of this information was used to design the "mesh" network that provided sufficient power to a given spot in the coverage area. From what I remember the general rule was 2.5 miles in any direction (5 mile circle) provided the best coverage. I will check some sites out that may show exactly how many towers a given Service Provider has in Orlando. To cover a 10 mile by 10 mile area without obstructions you might expect to have 4 tower sites. Also worth noting is these towers can also communicate directly with one another using maintenance channels.

Okay there may be a sign that says park is closed but the park is still accessable from the adjoining "neighborhood" and a road to the east. I seriously doubt KC would wait until the park was open and had people around to dispose of a very small body. A child of this size would fit in some rolling suitcases or duffle bags so transporting 35 pounds while walking wouldnt really be that hard to do.

LP has a really good reason for searching the water other than publicity .. he sees the abnormal activites of 6-30 to 7-1. With that said remember KC is on the move after dropping off Tony L. and is using his jeep.
I have not found any testimony yet that friends can say that they saw KC in the jeep from roughly 6-30 to 7-5 when she picked Tony L up. We know that she washed his Jeep at a carwash before picking him up so she obviously was driving it. It is possible that the jeep stayed in the park after it was closed and moved the next day? But not likely because if you look at what KC did the night of 6-30 into the morning of 7-1 you will see that she is on the phone and out in east Orlando all night long. I dont think the fact Bella Vida Blvd is in the middle of her pings from 2am to 10am is nothing more than coincidence. I also agree that it might be a bit scary to be in a dark park location by yourself at those hours of the night . forget the alligators and remember that there has also been people murdered there. I will dig some more into who she was texting and see if there is anything else that stands out on this night. I find it a bit odd that she cant stay off the phone with TonyL on the first night he is away ... especially all night ... I didnt think they were in that kind of a lovestruck relationship.

I see that .. did you get a chance to watch Murt's video where he drove into the YMCA at the park and showed how you could get onto the trail? Can you confirm if the gates also seal off the YMCA parking area?

Murt confirms on his recording on Ustream.Tv - murt-on-the-road that the YMCA is outside of Blanchard park and is acessable 24 hours a day. Also 2 dumpsters accessable 24 hours a day. There is an opening in the gate to go in if you want to via a walking trail. Murt says not a good part of the park to be in at night .. lot of homeless people around. Murt actually shows how you can park in the lot of the YMCA front or back and go down a path and right into the park. Murt says the only gate that is closed is on Dean road and mostly closed on weekend nights.

Yes you bring up really good points that I struggle with too. Things that make sense really dont sometimes.

The gas cans threw me a little bit. Can you confirm the date of the 29th? I thought she gave GA the 2 cans back on the 24th? and was that incident the last one she had with him until july 16? I cant believe the family didnt get together on July 4th. Anyway if KC had gas cans on the 29th she certainly didnt use them to go pick up her car at Amscot did she? Can you just confirm what you know about the gas cans for sure?

Worth noting during the 12am to 2am time on July 1 in the BP location there was a dead time of 12:33 to 12:59am then the text/calls went until 2:00am

They were not, in his statement he said he would fall asleep while she was talking to him on the phone and it would pizz her off.
