The first episode I watched was a case that happened in Connecticut, a mother and an 8 year old boy were gunned down in their house in January of 1999.
The 8 year old was supposed to testify against a drug dealer who killed his mothers boyfriend the year prior at a barbershop in may 1998, and had made a failed attempt on his life the year before that at the same location in 1997,
Apparently the boyfriend himself was also drug dealer and knew the suspect but the main culprit and him had a falling out. The boy and the mother were supposed to be in witness protection but law enforcement was criticized for apparently calling off the witness protection just a few weeks before the killings, although the police claim that the mother herself called it
Second episode. About a guy In Florida who poisoned a a family killing the mother, and making her teenage sons violently ill. Apparently because he didn’t like that the boys always made so much ruckus. He slipped the poison into some Coca Cola. He was their neighbors was known to be a genius when it came to poison or drugs or chemistry or something like that.
Third episode. Was about a young boy who was murdered in 1991 in Tyler Texas, by a former family friend turned gangbanger whom the slain child’s mother knew the suspect since he was 5 years old and said to have always treated him like family.
The man buried the boys body and while in prison for other crimes, he told his brother to dig up the boys leg bones and mail it to him, he also had the brother forge a note as well claiming that 2 drug dealers were responsible for the boys death and not him. He claimed the leg bones were mailed to him by the drug dealers and the note came from the dealers. However the 2 drug dealers were ruled out as it was determined they had alibis.
