Coronavirus US: Study's antibody test results 'may take weeks' | Daily Mail Online

Thousands of people in California and Colorado have been tested for coronavirus antibodies in a series of private efforts which scientists are now eagerly awaiting the results of in the hope that they may hold the key to restarting the economy. [..]

And in San Miguel County in Colorado, all residents are being provided with tests by United Biomedical executives who are local to the area.

Eight thousands tests have been done already there already but the company's labs are backed up processing the results.

They have managed to return 986 results which found eight people who had the antibodies, according to the county's officials.

None of those tests have been approved by the CDC but they are being allowed to be carried out under relaxed guidelines that were loosened in light of the pandemic.

Twenty-three people's results were deemed borderline or 'indeterminate' and 955 tested negative, which indicates that it is not full proof.

What is everyone's guess of when Colorado will start to open up?

Colorado:

Gov. Polis outlines initial plan for lifting some restrictions, allowing certain businesses to reopen

“CENTENNIAL, Colo. (KDVR) — Gov. Jared Polis announced Monday that his stay-at-home order will expire on April 26 but some restrictions will remain in place.

There will be a transition period through May 4 into what the governor called a “safer at home” set of guidelines.”

[...]

“He is allowing retail to reopen with some restrictions still in place but is extending the closure of bars and restaurants to an undecided date.”

[...]

Personal services, such as hair salons and tattoo parlors, will be able to reopen with restrictions in the “safer at home” phase.”

• Gatherings - still limited to less than 10.

• Offices can open at 50% capacity with precautions still being taken.

Hmmm moo. I’ve got some reading to do.

How are are CO hospital capacities?

Where is CO with testing? Last I heard Gov Polis said he thought the number of cases out there could be as much as ten times higher.

Post courtesy of @Henry2326 , bringing over from main thread to mark where we are on April 20 as Colorado plans to ease restrictions next week.

Here ya go...
Rx is 1,29....it cant seem to stabilize below 1.0
Confirmed cases and deaths are trying to plateau...but 2 dots dont make a trend yet.
861 in hospital
47,466 total tested in state
20.7 positivity rate from tests.....experts request 5.0
7.3 tests per 1000 people....experts recommend 50
Not enough testing being done.
