Where did you find this?
From transcript or tape? Thank you!
“No, not for sure.” So maybe he had an idea?
And then the dropped thought after…? My deception meter just went off.

The doctor had noted in his records…?? That seems incomplete. To note three calls after hours from a patient…without any doctors response/follow up also noted…? Or maybe there was some cursory note that is publicly not known. Surly Mr Kane would have continued that line of questioning if there was…

Into Candy Rose about pageant and JR interrogation. Just glanced so far…but it looks like he is downplaying his attendance. His attendance at his 6 year olds beauty pageant in Denver on a Tuesday that she won.

Side note: Listened to“Cynics” podcast “A rebuttal…” Excellent. Excellent.
Definitive resource.

Thanks again Ponytail.
From the transcript. Both Patsy's and John's 98' police interviews are on ACandyRose.
You're welcome!

Just started on CR.
What a remarkable contribution to justice for Jon Benet.
Listened to podcast JonBenet Todey (yes…Todey).
Irreverent, bauwdy and sometimes nasty humor BUT good info,
The “Colfax” episode features the man who made history trying to burn down the Ramsey house, interesting guest AND he knew “Candy Rose” He said either Steve Thomas or another detective on the case purchased computers for CR.

Schiller doesn’t seem to mention Burke having gone to the Denver pageant. If the calls originated from the Ramsey’s home landline, might Burke have been the one calling, thinking the doctor might know when to expect them home, or for some other innocuous* reason? The Beufs and Ramseys socialized. Maybe Burke had an idea that they had gone to the pageant with his family or something along those lines.
* Not that there’s anything entirely innocuous about leaving a nine-year-old kid home alone on a school day when the rest of the family is off having an adventure….
It’s definitely a theory.
That’s why trying to find out the times of the production. The pageant was on a school day, Tuesday, and out of town.
Anyone got Linda Hoffman-Pugh schedule?

These phone calls literally could be anything. But as others have said, why lie about it? Or have some reasonable explanation? This topic seems to present as sensitive when the Ramsey’s are questioned. Honestly, I think they were not expecting/had been coached about those calls….

JAR probably at college? He flew to Atlanta on the 19th. So he was in town….

I imagine Burke suffered extreme jealousy with the whole pageant prep and aftermath, the conversations, prizes, intense parental attention leading up to afterwards, etc. I suspect he lashed out with violent tendencies, particularly towards JBR. Perhaps as a form of rebellion he had a meltdown when they arrived home, attacked her, smeared facies, etc. Patsy was faced with that upon arriving home after an invariably long day, wits end, seeking advice from Paediatrician?

She won that pageant too. So arriving home with trophies etc could have triggered him. Then there is all the chaos about the Santa Clause toy bear…
