His wife/ex-wife? Mother of a child that attends the school? Someone here earlier said, which was very intuitive if I may say, made a comment that they should check the shooter's home for a body.

I watched one major cable news reporter state on live TV about an hour ago that their federal law enforcement source said that not only the FBI but the Secret Service would be involved.

As I am in the UK I feel this is an outsiders opinion but I really believe, as it seems a lot of others do, that the name and face of the shooter should never be released in the media - ok social media is somewhat unstoppable but let's stop giving these bxxxxxxs the infamy they more often than not, inexplainably, are looking for. Big push towards MSM to not release the name from my twitter feed.

Danbury Hospital ER was set up to receive many more patients; they received three. The others didn't come. They
were dead at the scene.

So 3 were taken to the hospital and 27 being reported dead...does the new report of 30 mean the 3 at the hospital didn't survive?

No, what they mean is that there was a massacre and that many ambulances were ready as were hospitals to get patients - but there were only 3 that were taken to the hospital. The rest...were killed at the scene.

I could not agree more. I feel when bad people are intent on doing bad things, they will find a way to do so.

I know when I went to a university back in 2007, the doors to the classroom locked from the inside, so if you were outside the door, you had to wait until someone opened the door and let you in.

The death toll in today's shooting at a Connecticut elementary school is closer to 30, a federal law enforcement source in Washington told CNN.

He also said the suspected gunman, who is dead, had a connection to the school. The source is in touch with authorities on the scene.

Fox news is reporting 26 dead, including 18 children. They are also saying the body at the home of the shooter is his mother.

It reminds me of 9/11 in San Antonio; they have a couple excellent burn units there, military. I stood in line with several of those kids that afternoon at the convenience mart. They were hyped to go to NYC - they'd fly out later - to save lives. But there were no lives, when they got there, to save. They were all dead at the scene.
