I agree, Gitana. I am so sad, I just don't know what to do. So many lives have been changed forever....

Yes but if you read the article it says they cannot confirm if NL brought AL there and even if she did they dont know if he shot there..... IMHO

Thanks, yes I did read that...my reason for posting this at all was I thought there was some discussion last night here that it had been reported none of the family had been to a range. Thanks again.:seeya:

Sorry if this has been answered already -- I have had to stay away:

Do we know who the person in the woods was, or was there never a person in the woods? (Was it the 24 year old brother?)

Thank you.

I'm not sure what is wrong with me, I am a very empathetic person, heck I cry watching commercials but while I can not turn the TV off or leave this board I have not been able to cry.
Not sure if I'm just numb and it hasn't become real to me yet of if instinctively I'm afraid if I start crying that I'll never stop.. \lm/

Why did she "need" to bring him?

At 18 he can buy and own a rifle...
he can "target" practice with his own "weapon"
can't he?

Who can own a shotgun or rifle in Connecticut?
"You must be 18-years old to purchase a rifle or shotgun. No permits are required to purchase or carry these guns, however there is a 2-week waiting period from the date of purchase to the time you receive your gun."

http://statelaws.net/Connecticut-Gun-Laws.php

he had 2 years under his belt...
we do not know yet that he didn't own his own guns...

We only know which ones mom had...

The "doomsday prepper" information, while reported in MSM as various as New York magazine and the Daily Telegraph, all comes, from what I've read of it, from a single source, Nancy Lanza's former sister-in-law.

She also said her sister in-law was a teacher or worked at the school, and officials say no she did not.

Question...in this story it says that AL tried to purchase a gun at a sporting goods store but was denied because he didn't want to wait the waiting period and didn't want to do a background check. My question is whether there is any mechanism in place that flags this type of situation, as it seems as though I would be really suspicious if someone came in to buy a gun and acted like this. Anyone know?

Not to worry-you'll probably lose it watching a Merrill Lynch commercial very soon. :p

Nowhere did I suggest we should house someone in an inhumane manner. GMAB.

Not targeting you specifically, but can we PLEASE move this topic to another thread? This is not the time nor the place imo imo

When officers found her ( Sally Cox school nurse) in closet and he led her out by her arm told her to close her eyes till they get to parking lot. She did, and said she had no idea what he didn't want her to see.

I could have sworn that I saw a handcuffed gentleman being walked up behind one of the cars being searched by a trooper with a rifle. White car, in the parking lot.... Looking for a link now.

The part I am referring to begins at about 1:10 into the video. I have watched it a few times, but cannot see clearly enough.
