When my dad was young he used his hawk to hunt doves and flush them out of the "grass"... Then he would shoot them.

Mental disorder, mental illness, personality disorder, Asperger's disorder,whatever disorder this guy had, this guy was Out of Order and Knew Right from Wrong. I'm not going to spend alot of time analyzing his "disorder", it makes me so sick

I have no sympathy for him at all. Those gunned down at the school probably had no way to survive these types of bullets/ammo AL used...this type of ammo just rips all parts of flesh off the person...they were shot all over their bodies, faces, some parents could not identify their children by looking at them...it's so incomprehensible, it makes me so angry thinking about it....A local police officer told me rarely do people survive this kind of ammo AL used...

And some of the bullets went through the school walls and pinged off the car(s) in the parking lot....

Wayne Carver, the Connecticut medical examiner, said Lanza used a technique known to gun enthusiasts as "jungle-taping". This helps explain how the killer was able to wreak so much carnage in a shooting spree that may have lasted barely five minutes.

Dannel Malloy the Connecticut governor, disclosed that Lanza broke into the school by firing a volley of bullets through a secured door and killed himself when he when he heard police arriving while he was still gunning down children.

That raised the prospect that the death toll might have been even higher if the emergency services had not reached the site so quickly.

Police found seven terrified children cowering in the cupboard of a second room after Lanza wiped out one class of six and seven-year-olds and their two teachers. "There were 14 coats hanging there and 14 bodies. He killed them all," a law enforcement officer told the Hartford Courant.

The bullets used in the massacre were designed specifically to penetrate deep tissue and do a "devastating" amount of damage. Weapons experts believe the killer used "frangible ammunition", which fragments on impact, inflicting wounds that are usually beyond medical help.

The weapons were all owned by Mrs Lanza, who was reportedly in bed when her son killed her with shots to the head before driving to the school.

Lanza is believed to have fired at least three 30-bullet magazines with chilling accuracy – only two people, both teachers, survived their injuries.

FBI electronics experts are poring over the broken hard drive trying to determine what is likely to be crucial evidence about how he planned his killing spree, with whom he exchanged messages and what websites he visited.

ITA .. and to me the frangible ammunition was also used so he wouldn't be injured himself by ricocheting bullets ..

Frangible, or "soft," rounds are designed to break apart when they hit walls or other hard surfaces to prevent ricochets during close-quarters combat.

He was 100% calculated. Definitely not psychotic IMO.

Donald Briggs grew up with Nancy Lanza in Kingston, New Hampshire. The State Medical Examiner in Connecticut said Thursday that Lanza’s body was picked up by an out-of-state funeral home.

Briggs told CNN that plans haven’t been finalized for the burial of Adam Lanza.

“That’s still under discussion,” Briggs said. “If anything, it would be in the spring.”

By the way, there is a college in Washington State for special needs students including those with autism. It has an engineering program. So at least at its face, that story is plausible.

IMO, that was "code" for a psychiatric/developmental disability residential facility and not a university.

And The Washington Post quotes a Lanza family friend as saying Lanza's mother was considering moving to Washington state so Adam could attend a special school there.

One of the more pathological issues that doesn't get much discussion is his obvious intent on somehow involving his brother in the carnage of that day..

IMO this again goes toward some level of premeditation as well as very clearly able to plot, plan effectively and precisely(his altering the gun for maximum deaths and taping the magazine/cartridges for quick reload), and his intentional carrying with him the identification OF ONLY HIS 24YO BROTHER FROM WHOM HE WAS ESTRANGED..

THIS IMO IS ONE OF THE MORE DEFINOTE INDICATORS OF WHAT TYPE OF PLANNING AND INTENT WAS INVOLVED...We already have LE saying this was a very much planned event, rather than a snapping and going on a sudden killing rampage.. also his utter destruction of his computer IMO is also very obvious to me of his clear thought processes in thinking ahead in knowing that'd be one of the very first items seized and searched for answers...he attempted to thoroughly wipe out all of the info that would help LE get answers...and he did a damn good job at succeeding from what I understand thus far..

But again back to Ryan's identification ..IMO the nonsense of he had it so he could get into bars, using it as a fake ID is utter nonsense ...the only issue I see as viable is that it was not only intended to bring his brother into the carnage of their atleast initially believing the gunman to be Ryan..but I can see him possibly intending to use his brother's ID IF he were going to attempt to purchase firearms..since we have nothing confirming he ever did so, then I am back at the sole reason for his having and carrying on his person ONLY HIS BROTHERS ID WAS FOR THE PURPOSE TO INITIALLY HAVE RYAN THOUGHT TO BE THE SHOOTER...

Which as we know it, too proved to be extremely effective and worked out much as he planned it in Ryan's name being initially tagged as the child killer...IMO THIS WAS EXACTLY HIS FULL INTENTION AND AS I SAID MUCH LIKE OTHER PREMEDITATED AND PLOTTED PIECES OF THIS HORRIFIC RAMPAGE PROVED TO HAVE BEEN WELL THOUGHT OUT AND TOTALLY EFFECTIVE...

which IMO again speaks to this man's ability to extremely thoroughly plan this to a tee..IMO proof positive he was NOT in a snapped staged of psychosis in just going off the deep end and obliterating the world around him..much different this was well planned, methodical, with extreme forethought and mal intent, as well as thorough steps taken to even conceal and cover tracks long after the carnage ended and the investigating began..

I want to know how in the hell he possibly obtained Ryan's identification?..we know there was zero contact between the two in over two years...so, I am now pondering on the possibility that Adam could have possibly obtained it through online DMV?..I know you can now receive new licenses, update licenses from expired, and also request and receive duplicate copies of DL when yours has been lost or stolen..all available via online DMV services... is it possible that this is how it was obtained?..if anyone would have had access to birth certificate and other necessary items of this nature it would have been mom, Nancy and therefor Adam quite likely would be able to gain access to these important type docs in order to get a duplicate license through the mail or online DMV...

Not claiming that's how it happened, but rather just looking at and discussing the possibilities of how Adam gained access to his brother's ID that IMO he used for one purpose and one purpose only...to hurt and cause pain to his brother, Ryan by initially making it appear as tho, good and perfect succeeding son, Ryan was a cold blooded child killer!...and again that plan was effective and absolutely worked initially just as Adam hoped it would..

So what are others thoughts on this issue of Ryan's ID as well as how was it obtained by AL??
