Somehow I think NL was 'saving face' by telling friends that Adam was getting ready to go to college. I don't believe he could ever go to college and function there.

There are colleges for special needs students including autistic students. So why exactly couldn't he function there, considering all the other students would have special needs? And considering he attended regular college at 16 and got decent grades.

An East Windsor gun store where one of the guns used in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was raided by federal agents Thursday night, according to WFSB.

WFSB said the gun store, Riverview Gun Sales, is also where police said a man stole an assault weapon and planned to carry out an attack similar to the Sandy Hook shooting. Jordan March, 26, of South Windsor, can be seen on video stealing an AR-15 with a scope , a day after the shooting, according to WFSB.

Actually dove hunting is quite a sport here in Texas. And if prepared properly they are quite tasty. You can also get dove in restaurants here. jmo

One of the more pathological issues that doesn't get much discussion is his obvious intent on somehow involving his brother in the carnage of that day..

IMO this again goes toward some level of premeditation as well as very clearly able to plot, plan effectively and precisely(his altering the gun for maximum deaths and taping the magazine/cartridges for quick reload), and his intentional carrying with him the identification OF ONLY HIS 24YO BROTHER FROM WHOM HE WAS ESTRANGED..

THIS IMO IS ONE OF THE MORE DEFINOTE INDICATORS OF WHAT TYPE OF PLANNING AND INTENT WAS INVOLVED...We already have LE saying this was a very much planned event, rather than a snapping and going on a sudden killing rampage.. also his utter destruction of his computer IMO is also very obvious to me of his clear thought processes in thinking ahead in knowing that'd be one of the very first items seized and searched for answers...he attempted to thoroughly wipe out all of the info that would help LE get answers...and he did a damn good job at succeeding from what I understand thus far..

But again back to Ryan's identification ..IMO the nonsense of he had it so he could get into bars, using it as a fake ID is utter nonsense ...the only issue I see as viable is that it was not only intended to bring his brother into the carnage of their atleast initially believing the gunman to be Ryan..but I can see him possibly intending to use his brother's ID IF he were going to attempt to purchase firearms..since we have nothing confirming he ever did so, then I am back at the sole reason for his having and carrying on his person ONLY HIS BROTHERS ID WAS FOR THE PURPOSE TO INITIALLY HAVE RYAN THOUGHT TO BE THE SHOOTER...

Which as we know it, too proved to be extremely effective and worked out much as he planned it in Ryan's name being initially tagged as the child killer...IMO THIS WAS EXACTLY HIS FULL INTENTION AND AS I SAID MUCH LIKE OTHER PREMEDITATED AND PLOTTED PIECES OF THIS HORRIFIC RAMPAGE PROVED TO HAVE BEEN WELL THOUGHT OUT AND TOTALLY EFFECTIVE...

which IMO again speaks to this man's ability to extremely thoroughly plan this to a tee..IMO proof positive he was NOT in a snapped staged of psychosis in just going off the deep end and obliterating the world around him..much different this was well planned, methodical, with extreme forethought and mal intent, as well as thorough steps taken to even conceal and cover tracks long after the carnage ended and the investigating began..

I want to know how in the hell he possibly obtained Ryan's identification?..we know there was zero contact between the two in over two years...so, I am now pondering on the possibility that Adam could have possibly obtained it through online DMV?..I know you can now receive new licenses, update licenses from expired, and also request and receive duplicate copies of DL when yours has been lost or stolen..all available via online DMV services... is it possible that this is how it was obtained?..if anyone would have had access to birth certificate and other necessary items of this nature it would have been mom, Nancy and therefor Adam quite likely would be able to gain access to these important type docs in order to get a duplicate license through the mail or online DMV...

Not claiming that's how it happened, but rather just looking at and discussing the possibilities of how Adam gained access to his brother's ID that IMO he used for one purpose and one purpose only...to hurt and cause pain to his brother, Ryan by initially making it appear as tho, good and perfect succeeding son, Ryan was a cold blooded child killer!...and again that plan was effective and absolutely worked initially just as Adam hoped it would..

So what are others thoughts on this issue of Ryan's ID as well as how was it obtained by AL??

RL was 24 so he turned 21, 3 years back.
The killer would have been 17.

I'd bet he got online and ordered a duplicate.
I did recently just to get the "new" design.
Mine doesn't expire until 2016.

$5 and a debit card...
done!
They will only mail it to the address on the license
so.... unless he outright STOLE IT...

I have a sneaky feeling he had tried to steal his brother's identity...
What was his middle name?
I don't know.

There is a whole bunch of schools for special needs students. Autistic students, Down syndrome students, etc.

Almost every university states on their online brochure that they have special services for those with disabilities including a school near deceased Ms. Lanza's home. Axxx wasn't enrolled in it though. There was a reason why this killer wasn't enrolled in college anymore and it didn't have anything to do with needing to move to Washington state to attend a college there.

There are colleges specifically for special needs students, which is not the same as colleges with services for special needs students. All students having special needs vs. majority of students without special needs.

People on the spectrum are very frequently inflexible, rigid and have anxiety when they have to experience change in their lives. He couldn't function at college because he obviously wasn't even able to function while living at home.

Also would have records of anyone who was a volunter or an aide I would think. At first the story was that NL was a kindergarten teacher there. Where did that come from? I know that it turned out to be not true, but someone had to have thought she was to get that info out. :waitasec: very perplexing. jmo

I think on a social media site that NL had written that she enjoyed her work at Sandy Hook, and the media took that and ran with it.

One is horizontal Over 21
one is verticle Under 21 and states it in red!

I just wanted to throw out an acknowledgement and thank you to all of the teacher's aides and custodians out there. I work at a school district (not at the school) and I can tell you these people do not make a lot of money and do it for the kids. Many of the aides have college degrees (many have Masters level) but are paid between $9-11 an hour. Maybe it's a little more in CT, but probably not. They are completely devoted to these children and it's obvious they would risk their lives for these kids just like the folks in CT. All I can say is I hope I can show such bravery and honor as these school employees in CT if I am ever put in such a situation. The vision of the teacher's aide holding the little boy in her arms as they were both murdered is so loving and courageous it just makes me want to cry more. In such a horrible way to die, she was able to give him love until the last second he had on Earth. And I'm sure she felt his love as well.

ITA. She couldn't tell her friends that she was going to institutionalize her son because she reportedly did not share any personal info. about her home life. Her friends were never told about the difficult time she was having with Axxx.

She told her friends that Axxx was going allllllllllllllll the way across America to attend "a special school". IMO, this was going to be her excuse for why he wasn't able to ever come home and visit.
